Even with the staffing shortage around us, Fagundes still aims to please. Yes, beef has gone up in price lately, but wow! These cuts are beautiful. Staff is always friendly and Im usually checked on to see Ive been helped several times when I come here. There arent too many places left with customer service like this. But its good to know SOMEONE still prides themselves on this timeless business model.

Meat prices are reasonable. Tri-tip sandwich was delicious and make sure to try the red potato salad, its got great flavor. Chicken sandwich was a little dry. They also sell pies, will try next time.

We just did a large order for 65 guest and we received one of the best deals in town. Sandra was amazing to work with. We even added 3 meats instead of 2, and an extra side. My mom said the chili beans may be the best she has ever tried. We thought we werent going to have enough food but we had more than enough. Some of our guest were leaving with trays of food and still had plenty of food into the next day. Highly recommend.

My first time there I ordered the 30lb meat package plus 7lb pork belly and I was very happy with my purchase. Definitely Im going to be a new regular there. Service was great as well. This is some of the meat we used to do a korean bbq outside. 😋 yummy

If you are look for a great cut of meat this is tje place to go. Prices seem higher but this a true butcher that will take cafe of you. Doring to covid lock down fhey provided a preorder bundle package that was well priced and amazing to have. My mom who is a senior loved this option and continued to order.

Great pies from the pie company out of Ripon CA they Cary them here and they r super good. The meat sandwiches are to die for too so great options overall.

Man this place is the bomb! Excellent tri tip sandwich and ribs. Dino is the man. He hooked us up with some free samples of the bacon kabobs and chicken kabobs. He even showed us around the store. They have a great Portuguese selection and my wife is Portuguese. She loved it. Props to Dino the grill master!👍

The store is more than an old fashioned butcher shop. Its all as i remember as a child. The meat cutter was the guy you asked about everything. Products, service and staff- best in State of California and Nevada.

Until today, I thought this was just a regular sandwich/deli shop to get meats to take home. Was completely blown away to find I can get cooked meat!Excited to buy my COOKED meat take it home and prepare my sides for dinner.This is now my once a week route in my shopping routine!!!

Great sandwiches. Old school butcher shop with large variety of beef, pork, chicken, and sausages. They also carry silva bakery products and other portuguese items. Great little place.

The tri tips were hard and tasteless. We had Costco tri tip a couple of months ago and was better and cheaper. The sausages were ok.

Very tender seasoned perfectly. Just wished they had fries. One slap and fries awesome.

Last time I purchased a tri tip from fagundes meats I was very disappointed! The meat was dried out and when I got home found out no au jus (sp) included!! Every other time I have purchased there has been excellent !!!

My son is very specific with what he eats. He loves the baloney from here. Everytime I go in, Teresa knows exactly what Ive come for and exactly how thin my son likes the baloney cut.

Small shop but dont let that fool you. Big flavor in their sandwiches that they sell at a fair price. The uncooked meat is very high quality and priced reasonably. The staff here is very nice and knowledgeable.

Fantastic butcher! I cant believe that I havent tried this sooner!!! Having a bbq? Trust me, you will want to pick up the Lemon & Pepper chicken breasts in addition to any of the steaks you are picking up. And the Portuguese beans are definitely a side you want on hand! So, yes, this is the place to buy your meats, and I didnt even get to the part about how the people here are absolutely delightful. I am always very happy to give them my money! Go get it people!!!

Quality meats beyond compare...I am a loyal customer. I have to drive a hour to get to there store from Rio Vista. But its worth every bit of it . IlI highly recomed Fugundes Meats in Manteca.

Omygoodness this shop is so delicious the tri tip sandwich was so good natural food the bread was real good. I have never had a better sandwich. I live 40 minutes away and I will take the drive just to eat here. Girls where very nice a hospitality that you dont see anymore. Absolutely love this place. And I only came across it because I was pumping gas next door

I came go get 3 sandwich at these place and honestly the food was bad, I got cold meat on my sandwich the bread was all soggy and not yummy the tri-tip was so hard and cold. The pull pork sandwiches was even worst the meat was cold and very old it was not fresh meat. I dont recommend these place but thats my opinion.

Very disappointed in the meat package we bought a few weeks ago. The tri tip was very chewy it happens. Then we tried the BBQ steaks and it was the same very chewy, almost rubbery. For the price I would expect better quality of meat.
