For various reasons, I decided to change alarm systems. I was paying California Built In Systems (CBIS) by the year for monitoring services. I left a message for CBIS wondering if I was eligible for a refund of my monitoring fee, since I dropped their service half way through the year. I received a call from Ken (owner?) and was told that I could have my refund if I would remove my previous, unfavorable review, from their website. I asked Ken if I was eligible for a refund. He said yes, but he would appreciate it if I’d remove my previous review. Again, I asked if I was eligible for a refund and received the same answer. In effect, Ken is holding my refund as ransom, contingent upon the removal of my first review. Still waiting for my money, Ken!

I called California Built In for a new Vac power unit because my old one quit working, They came out and installed it the very same day! Very professional and friendly service.
