Was recommended this place by Barry’s Appliances after having the compressor on an old GE Profile SxS finally died. Wanted to see what my options were between buying something new, used, or if it was worth the repair. It’s a hole in the wall repair place that had a decent amount of used options in a variety of price ranges. The one younger Spanish guy was helpful. Then I asked if they replace compressors and started asking if it’s worth it. The second older gentlemen who was the actual tech chimes in and is pretty asinine off the bat. Supposedly me doing some reading to get educated on the process and cost of replacing compressors is what set him off, claiming that everybody who reads something on the web now claims to be an expert. Most of it seemed a bit age-ist, the rest just that he was unhappy in general and felt like being argumentative. Coincidentally enough, I have replaced quite a few Evap fans, thermistors l, and done small repairs on most of my appliances over the years with the help of some service manuals. Anywho, the experience was awful. No manners, poor customer service, and just an awful human being, that experience was the only one to never go back or recommend. Even so far as to question why a solid place with helpful staff like Barry’s even uses somebody like that to begin with. Your mileage may vary…
Technicians are knowledgeable and always have a solution to the issue. Good communication and if they don’t have the part they get it quickly
I started having issues with my freezer and realized it was the start relay that was causing the problem. After calling several places that didnt have the part in stock, I called R&D Sieberg who had a universal start relay in stock. When I got to the store they were very helpful. They explained in detail how to install the new start relay which allowed me to install the new part in less than 15 minutes when I got home! It was an amazing experience! I highly recommend R&D Sieberg!
Great place.... reasonable prices !
I am the Service Manager at Barry’s Appliance. I use these guys as our recommended out of warranty service techs. There has never been a bad review from our customers. They have great response time, professionalism, and they do great work. Eric and Sean are great to work with and we get an overwhelming amount of positive reviews about Mike. I also know several people who have purchased appliances from them and had great experiences. 5 ⭐️ review from me!
Great experience and in expensive appliances. Strongly recommend their services as well. They have been helping me for years!
This is a reasonably priced appliance repair shop, but their technician are notorious for not following up and making up stuff about why they could not fix the appliance. I had them come in to fix our dryer twice for the same issue and the dryer failed both times immediately after they left. When I called to schedule they wanted to more money, and claimed that we are not following their instructions. Well we would have followed their instructions if they had given them in the first place. Please avoid this business.Sub standard service and competency.
Unbelievable prices on scratch and dent appliances. I purchased and service all my appliances. Their staff are knowledgeable and courteous.
A family run business that will treat you like part of theirs!
So far so good, well see after delivery and installation I paid for. All 2nds. Mostly cosmetic dings.
Purchased a dishwasher from them was given a 1 year warranty it stopped working tried to have them fix it they told me to bad never use them
I recommend them if you need a part. Heres why:Four years ago my 19 -year old dryer stopped heating. I like to try fixing things, so I used an online site to trouble-shoot it. The site told me I needed to order a new thermal fuse, but it didnt mention why the fuse might have failed. I went to Sieberg with the blown fuse. They immediately told me I also needed a new thermostat, because it was likely that it failed first, causing the dryer to overheat, blowing the fuse. I replaced both for $50., and the dryer worked fine ever since. If I had just ordered the thermal fuse online, the new one would have blown very soon after I installed it, and I would have wasted a lot of money and time getting to the right solution. Their experience with parts was well worth the few extra bucks compared with ordering online.
We needed multiple repairs on our refrigerator, and the guys from Sieberg arrived quickly, discuss options that made sense, and were extremely reasonable. They came out multiple times, responded quickly to me every time, and are just all around good people. I highly recommend R&D Sieberg.
We just got our washer fixed the same day we called for service! Easy to deal with and im sure they saved us hundreds over buying a new machine!!Their service technician was very pleasant do deal with and I would definitely use them again
We were recommended to check out R&D by a contractor and we are so happy we did. Our old washer was broken. After we had another repair shop take a look at it, he quoted us a repair that was more than half the cost of the washer. Instead we visited R&D. We explained our situation to one of the helpful staff there. He recommended that he have one of their repair guys take a look. If they can fix it, theyll fix it. If not, theyll bring over the washer that we picked out. When the repair guys/installers come out, they test the old washer and declare it not worth it to fix. They take the old washer and and install the new one. They test it out and make sure it works. To top it off, they also clean out our dryer too and help us find $4 in change. We had a great experience and will definitely be back when we are looking for any other appliances.
Our family has used these guys for years. Repairs and scratch and dent purchases these guys have you covered. Helpful and knowledgeable staff.
Ive gotten a couple machines from them, and theyve always been courteous and easy going. You feel like youre talking to a real person, not a customer service front, which is nice. Authenticity isnt found often. I dont recall any issues with any of the equipment Ive gotten from them, but in regards to the other reviews who were complaining, keep in mind that they do sell some used/refurbished equipment and while I havent personally had to, if youd call them and explain, Im positive theyd come and repair/replace it for you. Every purchase they came and delivered & installed.
The owner, Roger, is a great guy. He had the parts for my moms dryer in stock and was open on Sunday. Very knowledgeable and courteous. Hes now my go-to guy. Check out his used/dented appliances, good bargains to be had.
The used unit I purchased here does not work properly. I will be going to another service center to repair it. This was a refurbished unit and that tells me if they could not repair it well enough for resale they may not be capable of repairing it regardless of how much more money I give them. Do yourself a favor, spend the extra $200 to $300 and buy a NEW unit somewhere else. Dont buy a used unit from them and never allow them to repair any appliance you have.
After calling numerous places to find the part for my washing machine and visiting a few other stores that said they had it only to find out that they didnt and I had to call their warehouse supplier, I went to R+D Sieberg. Not only did he have the correct part and in stock, he offered to install it for an extra $5 if i had a problem doing it myself. He even gave me tips and advice on the install. What could have been a $200 repair ended up being only $20. Id recommend them to anyone that appreciates great customer service and wants to support a locally owned business.
Terrible customer service! Called R&D Sieberg to repair a Range Hood Blower. We have been waiting for replacement part for over 4 weeks now. We have not received any response or acknowledgement that the replacement part has been ordered. We called them numerous times and have been told that the part was ordered and was being delivered from the manufacturer in Itlay. Today I received a call from Mike and was told they never ordered the replacement motor. Stay away. They are absolutely terrible.
My washer was not draining water.Called in got appointment for 2 days later. They said they will call half hour before they arrive but tech came less than 10 mins after call.Amazing service - came in 10 mins later he diagnosed the issue— replaced a part and charged very minimal.Later I had issue which was mistake from my end. I called they came in again in 20 mins and showed me what I was doing wrong.Loved it I will go back here for my appliance service if needed. Thanks
Bought a used refrigerator and it didnt work. Exchanged it for another that was a couple hundred dollars more with a longer warranty. The 2nd refrigerator didnt work either. I had a freezer full of meats and needed for someone to come out and try to fix the problem. Let me tell you, they have a very nonchalant attitude about sending someone out to service the stuff they sell even after stressing that I had meats in the freezer that will spoil. After getting an appointment a couple days after calling them & given a window of between 1 to 4pm, they never showed up. When I called to find you what happened, the guy on the phone was oblivious about scheduling an appointment & claimed he never gave me a window for my appointment nor did he even have me scheduled. Finally when the service guy came out, he added freon to the refrigerator. He said it was low. Refrigerator seemed to work for a day or two & went back to not being cold so I called again & once again their attitude was well get to you when we get to you which again was a couple days after calling them. Once again the service guy added freon to the refrigerator and it still didnt work. I call again & give my name & address and tell the person on the phone that the refrigerator still didnt work at which point I was asked if I purchased it from them. At this point, Im ready to pull my hair out and Im bald. This is on a Friday & Im told they cant send someone over until after Monday. I called Monday to confirm an appointment for Tuesday well guess what, today is Tuesday and I still havent heard back about them...buyer beware. Probably will have better luck buying something off of craigslist.
Need a part for an appliance go here. Dont waste your time at big box stores. They will not have it.
They are just an amazing team, I have been using them for the past 15 years.
Love these guys. Bought a Samsung smart fridge. Had an error code. They came out to my house and fixed it!Bought a washer drier set. They installed. I have 2 toddlers so sometimes we do 2 loads a day! Machines still going. Also bought a dishwasher. No complaints. The showroom staff is friendly and laid back. No pressure and no grumpy texting teens! They also will help you make up your mind or make the right choice for your needs!
I bought a chest like deep freezer. I took it home after a guarantee that it would work, cleaned it out and turned it on. The thing didnt work and I took it back the next morning. I was told I would get my cash back that I paid for it but that the store didnt have enough money in the register to give me back my $132.75. He said to wait until mid-day After calling again and being told we would receive a call back, we didnt get the call. We called at 4:30 and 4:45 to get the cash refund as promised earlier only to be told that they dont refund the money as cash but refund it as a check. He told me for tax purposes he had to give me a check. I told him there isnt any policy that says they will give me a check for an item that doesnt work. He told me the a piece of the motor fell out and that I could come and pick up the freezer now because it works. Bullshit. The guy says his partner didnt know what he was talking about and that if I didnt want it than I should get off of his phone. Rude establishment. Ive purchased something from there in the past and referred to other people. After this I will not being going back and Most of my friends said they wouldnt either. The owners ask customers if they have anything that they want to get rid of, so they can resell it. Shady ass creepy men running some illegal scheme in the back of the store. Someone should check it out.
Good and quick service. Great place if you need to replace an appliance when you are moving!
Stopped by R&D Sieberg Inc this morning and the 2 gentlemen who were there were VERY HELPFUL regarding about my refrigerator.
I got a great deal on a new washing machine and an air conditioner. They opened up for me when they were supposed to be closed, they have my business forever!
Absolute Rip-Off. $14 part they try selling for $30. And I was forced to buy a part for my freezer which I desperately needed, and they charged me $42 for a part that is about $20 everywhere else. And to top it off, the owners Roger and his son Eric are complete jerks! They know they are one of the few part stores in the area and they use that to take advantage. Order from ANYWHERE ELSE!
I purchased a used gas dryer from them, with 2 weeks warranty/return policy, and maintenance. When I got home, the dryer didnt work. I immediately called them, and was told a tech would be sent to my house to fix it that day. I waited for three days and the tech never came, so when I called to see whats going on, the person who answered was very nasty, and was trying to put the blame on me not picking up the phone, when I was home, and the guy clearly never showed, he then proceeded to change their warranty, maintenance policy, stating that if I picked it up, I would have to take it there to get serviced, when I was told a tech would come fix it. they are scam artist... beware. will be reporting them to the BBB.
I called in for an evap fan. They called me back like they said they would confirming that they had the part. I want in and explained the situation and insisted that they test out my old fan and one they had before I purchased it. They found another one and charged me half price.
Great service and prices been going there for parts for years purchase of new appliance as well better than a big box stores
Great if you want a good deal on used appliances. No satisfaction when the machine just isnt working..
I purchased a used Whirlpool washer and dryer, thoroughly please UNTIL a break down, Ist repair guy came looked, didnt have the part, said he was going to dinner with wife and would reschedule, which he did soon thereafter, came and repaired and was paid accordingly. 4 loads later it broke again, 2nd repair guy came and fixed (3rd visit mind u) and compd the job saying it was a common error when the 1st guy repaired. Yeah, No charge.... Well guess what it broke again, same problem and now they want to charge me an additional service charge because, Im sure where i live, and a per son doesnt know me or the machine says well something else must the the problem. NO, its the same problem as the last two, sorry three visits. Your not listening!.. Appoint is Friday and Im told when they call to explain the Service Charge and if I elect not to pay it a decision will have to be made then.. I am not stupid, Your saying youll come as long as I pay you again for the repair that hasnt been done right yet. SORRY, not happy with SIEBERG APPLIANCES right now. To quote you, its open to discussion.
Outstanding. These guys know their business.
Buyer Beware. Sales man (Jesse) tried selling washer and dryer Electorlux as New but the fact of the matter is they were USED, and Scrapped by the manufacture. Meaning the unit didnt have the original manufactures label with model and serial #. Furthermore Scrapped means the the repair had exceeded the value of the unit. So the manufacture scraps the unit and expects it to be disposed of. They also advertised that the units have a 1 year manufactures warranty but when the unit is scrapped all guarantee, warranties are null and void.
I appreciate the response.
Good prices for used/Refurbished goods !!
The worse place ever, very unprofessional. Make sure you read anything and everything before you sign or swipe your cards, specificly their return policies.... Just a heads up.
I bought a condo and there sticker was on my washer and dryer so I called to set up a service. I informed them of the issues and they set up a date and time to fix it. Needless to say I waited all day and they never showed up. Called to find out and everyone played dumb finally the guy remembered me and asked to set up another appointment which I declined
Just ok place. I saw a lot of new appliances in online ad, but they had mostly old ones or expensive than market for the new ones. Bargain a lot if you choose to go there.
Great service!!!!
Thanks for the response.
