We were looking for mattress for our toddler. We always try to find show room so I can try instead of ordering online. We stopped by in Becker Maple Grove and had just awesome customer service experience. Manager was super helpful. We found the great mattress that our daughter loves. They offer affordable prices for very good mattresses. The huge thing in nowadays world - they have a lot of items in stock. We were offered to pick it up by ourselves on Monday at their warehouse in Becker( we were there Saturday night) or it could be delivered to us within next 2 weeks. Which I think very good terms, according to nowadays shortage. While we were in the store we noticed they offered great selection for furniture in general. This experience with Becker made us want to come back to this store for our future furniture needs. Great experience and would highly recommend it to everyone.
The furniture selection was pretty great with a cool selection to choose from. I went in for a sectional sofa and was able to find something that really suited what I was looking for. The big downside to my experience was how overly pushy the salesperson on the floor was to both my girlfriend and I. We wanted to walk the showroom floor without being asked every 5 minutes if we wanted to purchase the furniture we were looking into at that moment. It was a bit over the top for us as we just wanted to talk about each piece, try out the comfort level of the couches and plan out our living room. Trying to do this while being badgered by a salesperson really took away from this experience.
We recently purchased some furniture from this store and had a wonderful experience! Jessica offered a welcoming and friendly greeting as we entered Becker Furniture, then gave us the time we needed to browse. The store is very thoughtfully laid out with great quality complimentary pieces on display together, and plenty of room for customers to walk about. Once ready with questions, Jessica was immediately ready to help us with selecting beautiful, well-crafted items for our home. She was very patient, confidently informative, and exceptionally professional! Jessica was meticulous in ensuring all our pieces were ordered correctly, and went over the list with us in great detail. Earl was delightfully cordial, accommodating, and the help we needed in selecting appropriate new mattresses for our boys. Giles was knowledgeable and efficient in processing our order. We very much appreciated the staff who were courteous, professional and proficient. Thank you for your excellent service!
I purchased a leather recliner at the Maple Grove store. During the purchase, the sales person offered me a warranty to protect the purchase. This warranty stated that if the leather became stained, they would send someone out to clean it. If they could not clean it they would issue a credit that could be used to replace the item with a different in store item. I purchased the chair and the warranty. I was told that all information regarding the warranty would be kept on file.When I called Becker, they gave me a website and phone number for the third party warranty company. I have tried three times to get someone out to clean two stains that are on the chair. No one returns my calls. Becker has made no attempt to rectify this situation. My position is that the warranty company is their business partner and both of these companies profit from the sale of the warranties.I am dumbfounded that Becker would not get more involved in helping a customer that they unsold a product to in their Maple Grove store.Things that make you go hmmmmmm
My wife and I had a pleasant experience shopping at Becker Furniture in Maple Grove. Our salesman Bruce Anderson was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in the selection of our new furniture. He also displayed a great deal of patience as we changed our minds a couple times, once while he was finalizing the sale. Becker furniture had a large selection of furniture at reasonable prices which we didn’t find at other furniture stores. Bruce and all the staff that we interacted with that day were very kind and courteous. We highly recommend Becker Furniture of Maple Grove.
Very poor service. Very poor furniture. I bought a leather sofa two years ago, less than a year later it started to crack on the sides. I immediately went to the store, but there was no answer for more than two months. Two months later, they called me back from the service department and after that the sofa was repaired for me. A month later, it cracked again. I went back to the store to Customer Support Manager Donna Cooler. She ignored me for about two months. After that, she referred to the fact that she had already sent me an email in which she explained that I bought a sofa without a warranty, and I paid extra for 5 years of service and not for 5 years of warranty. So the store cant help me. I just lost $ 5,000.

It was pleasant experience I went to the Maple Grove location and Sandra was very responsive, kind and made sure to get everything ordered for me quick. She suggested to measure the pieces and come back to place order. So glad of that suggestion. I returned and she was already looked up the couch that I was interested in to see if it was in stock. Purchasing our furniture from Becker was always a pleasant experience. As we looked around at other competitors we always came back to Becker. Sandra from the Maple Grove store was always pleasant and very knowledgeable. She followed up on our orders always letting us know what to expect. We are very happy with all of our products.
We feel like we were lied to twice by our sales person, Bruce. We feel like we’ve been taken advantage of and have been scammed. It’s a sickening feeling. We picked out two sectionals in August 2020. Bruce told us we would start paying for it once we received both sectionals. We received our first one in September along with the bill. I called and asked about it and he claims policies must’ve changed. We were ok with that. It’s in our house, so it’s fine if we start paying for it. Today, December 10, 2020, we finally received our other sectional. We specifically said we wanted it reversed from what was displayed. We receive it and the delivery driver, Tyler, who was great by the way, said this sectional only comes this way. I decide to let him leave it to see if it’ll grow on me. After an hour, it’s done the opposite. We plan to return this sectional and have Becker pick it up. We will be buying elsewhere.
I went to Maple Grove Location to find a good mattress. The sales woman Laura was professional, friendly and helpful. The whole process was quick and simple. I’m confident I’m going to be getting a better nights sleep!

This was my first time going to Becker Furniture. Gary was friendly and very helpful with helping me to find exactly what I wanted. He showed me several sets and was very patient with me while I made my decision. I do plan to go back and purchase a dining room set.

The sales staff at Becker Mattress was amazing. At the Maple Grove store I worked with Earl and Laura, both of whom were knowledgable and attentive. I was impressed with how they were able to listen to the sleeping issues Ive been having with my memory foam mattress and direct me to the best solution for me - not just the best mattress in the store. They were confident in their guidance, but also flexible in their recommendations as I began to work out what I needed. If you need a mattress, this is the place to get it. Skip the stores that just want to sell you as quickly as possible. Becker Mattress takes the time to listen and guide you, and you STILL end up with a great deal.

Overall great experience. Was greeted right away by Bruce. Told him I talked to one of us Co- workers online the day before about a bed set. He directed me to the area . I checked out what I seen online. The bed set looked better in person and the quality seem good. Plus they still had the extended 4th of July sale. So I decided to purchase it. Bruce was real helpful and nice. Explained everything I wanted to know. Details about the delivery. I will definitely comeback in the future did more furniture.

The delivery process and the those that delivered my furniture today sept 14 were amazing, I will give them a 10/10. The furniture its self looks and feels good 10/10. But the time it took for me to receive my furniture was exactly 11month and the customer service at the store in Maple grove MN was very poor in keeping me updated. I noticed that once I had made payments no one cared about what happened. For those reasons I would NOT recommend someone who is not will to wait about a year for furnitures. 0/10. Also one of my island stools was not properly mounted after paying for the service, I have contacted Becker furniture several times regarding this issue and still waiting for over 5months, again very disappointedRecommendation:Due to the pandemic, Becker furniture should have been willing to refund customers money if they did not have a delivery time frame. My delivery time frame was changed several times and I did request my money back, but was told you ordered a customized furniture and production has not started due to to pandemic so If production had not started to be made for over six months of placing the order and Becker furniture was not sure when it would start, why dont give the customers money back if requested?. Again its all bout being nice till payment is made. I did purchase furnitures for over $15000 and paid cash, very disappointed. Overall the product quality is great but, customer service with regards sorting quires and making exception when the whole world was doing the same would be great. Being flexible in real time.
Came in to get a patio table umbrella. They helped me look at all options and pointed out sale items which worked well . With the immediate heat we are having I found in stocks items are in There main Becker warehouse store but they sold me a floor model on site that I liked and took it home. Great service and team effort to give me that option because it was not in shock they could do that.
Before explaining why, I highly recommend others shop for furniture elsewhere. Becker is not only overpriced (because they are paying for their brick and mortar locations) but their customer service is poor.In January of 2021, I went to the Maple Grove location to order a new sectional and two accent chairs. The design lady, Sandra Moen, took my house floor plans and determined the appropriate sized sectional. I repeatedly told her that I believed the sectional was too small for the space, but she assured me it wasnt. She said she has 20+ years of experience and it would be just right.In March, the accent chairs arrived, damaged. I brought this to Sandras attention, she said she would re-order. 2 months later, we were told we would not get the new chairs until July 2021 (6 months after ordering them). July came and I received a call from Sandra indicating I would not be getting replacement chairs until the end of November (11 months after they were ordered). In the alternative, I was offered a paltry 10% discount for the defective chairs.In April, our the sectional arrived and it was WAY too small. When I brought this to Sandras attention, she put the blame on me, insisting that she was correct (the sectional was ridiculously sized for the space). Part of what was frustrating was how difficult it was from a customer service perspective. In sum, Becker made a mistake, then, rather than owning it, blamed it me and made it my problem. After talking to her manager and a bunch of hoopla, Becker reluctantly agreed to let us re-order the bigger sectional. I was told the sectional would be delivered mid-August (now 8 months after our original order). When I called them on August 9, 2021, for an update, I was told we would not be getting our sectional until the end of October (nearly 11 months after our original order was placed). I asked if I could just cancel my order and was told no because its a custom order.I understand Becker does not control the supply chain. However, Becker controls their customer service, return policies, and whether they blame the customer for their mistake. With so many online furniture retailers out there, I highly recommend taking your business to a company that values their customers.You will regret your Becker Furniture - Maple Grove experience.UPDATE:After leaving the review above, I got a call from Giles at Becker about two weeks ago. He wanted to make things right. He said he would look into the issues and call me back the following Friday. The following Friday came and went, and after I called him one week later, I finally heard from him.When I finally did speak with Giles, it became evident very quickly that Giles solution was to try to convince me to agree with him. Had I thought Becker was right, I wouldnt have left this review in the first place. At one point, Giles claimed he didnt want to argue, yet he proceeded to tell me his perspective and not listen to mine. When I attempted to explain my perspective, he invalidated my experience and told me I was twisting the situation. Yet again, he re-iterated why Becker was right and I was wrong. He continued to refuse to listen and to talk over me. Finally, I had to tell him sir, stop talking. I have listened to you without interruption, I would appreciate the same courtesy. I had to yell to get him to even here me say this.After listening to Giles longer than I should have, I point blank asked him what his solution was. He said I could cancel my order (which we discussed was no longer an option 2 weeks ago... I need furniture) and stated once I get my order, Becker MAY offer me a gift card in an unspecified amount. In sum, Giles didnt call with a solution; he called to argue with me about why he was right. (See Beckers Response on other Google reviews... repeatedly, Becker explains why its not their fault).Giles personally took minor annoyance and turned it into a big problem. An attempt to force someone to agree with your position is a fools errand.DO NOT SHOP AT BECKER!!!
Sandra & Laura are a great sales team to work with. They were able to answer All my questions while purchasing a sofa, ottoman & an adjustable bed. Their expertise made the experience pleasant & Im a happy customer with all items being delivered before months end. We had a great shopping experience at Becker with Gary Porter. We don’t like a sales person who follows us step by step, and Gary wasn’t like that. He was near enough for questions yet gave us space as we walked through the showroom. Love that Becker has furniture in stock! All the other stores had a 2 month wait at a minimum. Would not recommend Becker World for any furniture purchases. I purchased an item 08/01/20. I was not in a rush to receive it however, I did state that I wanted it before the year ended. I was assured that this would not be an issue. My delivery date was first pushed to the end of November and now AGAIN to February of 2021. I ordered a simple, cheap desk less than $150. They wont allow me to cancel my order and get something else that I could receive earlier. They say its a special order item. Well...its $150 and theres really nothing special about it...nothing custom or anything. Just that they dont have it in their warehouse. With all due respect, it hasnt and wont ship for a long time...Ive been waiting for a fairly cheap item 4.5 months already that I could easily get somewhere else (or at least something equivalent). I get it, its not Beckers fault that the manufacture does not have the item...BUT it is their fault for poor customer service. It would be nice to just get something else since I am and will continue to wait for God knows how long for a cheap desk. BUT, they wont allow this without ME losing 50% of my original purchase price. Really? Bottom line, their customer service is more than lacking...it is Nonexistent. Its not like I just changed my mind, Ive been waiting and will continue to wait for a more than adequate time. There has been ZERO help from the Maple Grove team other than stating the fine print. So, dont buy from Becker. There are plenty of other places to get furniture that will provide or at least TRY to provide good service.UPDATE: Soon after posting this review someone from this location contacted me and clarified that there was miscommunication regarding the option for a refund due to the delay of shipment of my item. I was offered a refund for my transaction. They were able to refund me for this purchase in my original form of payment.

We sat on one sectional and fell in love with the style and how versatile it was, and luckily it came in four colors!! Found the exact shade of gray I was looking for and we ended up buying the whole set when we only wanted a sectional! Also the 50% off deal was amazing and Sandra made the experience perfect, and I love that everything was in stock unlike all other stores!!

Jessica Shinnick at Becker Furniture in Maple Grove was absolutely wonderful to work with! We have been to several furniture stores looking for power reclining love seats with motorized lumbar and and headrest support. This style is almost impossible to find for short senior citizens. Jessica immediately understood and guided us to the IMG line. She was very knowledgeable about the brand and helped us pick out the perfect model. We really appreciate the extra time and care she took with us to make sure we were completely satisfied with our choice before placing the order.

My daughters and I live in a small town with hardly any furniture stores nearby. We went to Becker in Maple Grove and the selection was amazing! We knew what we wanted and found several options in different price ranges and quality. Our sales person Eric (Chip) was amazing and was very knowledgeable. We sat on 4 sets and had our new furniture chosen. We sat on two other sets just to make sure and we are thrilled with our choice. We would recommend this store and this salesman to anyone who is looking.

Customer service was horrible. Every aspect of getting furniture from this company was a nightmare. We ordered Oct 10, 2020 and it was delivered July 2nd, 2021. The long wait wasnt ideal obviously, but that wasnt the whole problem. We were told we’d have it in December when we ordered it and I dont think that was ever going to be the case. I know we were lied to from the start-more on that later. I always had to call and figure out what was going on. Never did your company reach out to me to talk, explain what was going on. All we ever received was an email with one sentence - Your furniture is delayed until XXX. Thats it, over and over, month after month. When I called and asked if it was even started, you claimed you couldnt check. We finally called the manufacturer ourselves and they were VERY nice and talked to us about all the delays. They even told us that we could get all the information we wanted on our set if Becker called with the invoice number. I again was told by Becker that you cant do that. During all these delays we were never offered anything. Not a chance to cancel, no extra money off, nothing. A manager was copied on many emails and there was never a response from her. She just blew off every email. Becker could care less about the customer – as long as they have their money. Sitting on a customer’s payment for 9+ months is horrible business. Over 2,500 of our money just sitting there with nothing to show for it for over 9 months. Then when it finally came in - I had to go all the way to the store to pay the second half. Another hour round trip for me because it was too much of a pain for someone at Becker to run a few extra gift cards to pay the second half. While there, I asked another salesperson what the lead time was on a couch I pointed at (my furniture) and they said 6 weeks. When I said, why was ours 9 months! he ignored me and basically looked like he was caught in a lie. All lies for a sale must be the way Becker does business. Then, the only delivery date we were offered was the Friday of a holiday weekend in the summer. If we didnt want that we had to wait another 2-3 weeks, for another late afternoon, Friday delivery. At this point we just wanted our furniture to be done with you - so we wasted a precious summer holiday day, waiting around until the furniture finally came at 4. So no, Ill never go back.
We had a great experience at the Maple Grove store and received fantastic service from Jessica Shinnick. She was so helpful and we could tell she really enjoys what she does. We found furniture that will perfect for our home that was very reasonably priced. Thanks Jessica!
Will never shop Becker World again. Bought a reclining sofa and reclining chair. When the salesman asked if we wanted the extended warranty l asked him does that mean anytime? He said even a week before the 5 year warranty expires. I asked if they had this sofa in back he checked his cell and said yep! As l didn’t want the sofa on the floor. We liked the style but it sat funny on one end. So we bought the set along with the warranty. After it was delivered I sat down. Instantly I knew it was the one off the floor. But with the extended warranty we decided to keep it but if it got worse we would used the extended warranty. So we couldn’t find the warranty when we decided to get it replaced. Then while moving and going though papers we found it!! We trusted them with the warranty. Especially since the salesman said there would be no problem if either piece gave us problems. Well after finding the warranty we bought. It said. Chair under warranty. Sofa as is. No warranty!!! They lied and the charged us for a 5 year warranty on a sofa they never intended to cover. Plus they never said it wouldn’t be covered. But the salesman said it’d be covered right up to the last week of the warranty . They do nasty business. Say one thing. And papers say another story. Sandra was very helpful! She helped us find a couch that wasn’t even on the floor based on the specifications we gave her. She was also friendly, she helped us the moment we walked in the door. We will be shopping here again for our future furniture needs.
My fiancee and I had an Awesome experience at this location. They have amazing associates that would work with you and listens to your needs. Laura Labatt an Mattress Consultant who is an Amazing and Phenomenal associate that would go beyond to helped us get our future bed. She worked with us patiently, listening to our health needs, letting us decide and think about our choices, not pressuring us until we were ready to purchase. I was excited that Laura introduced us to the sleep to live technology mattress. With that technology mattress made us realize and see that a bed isnt just a bed. There is so much more to it then you know it. Throughout the service she explained and gave great details on the differences between most mattresses and pillows. She also explained step by step thoroughly on how to cared for our mattress and pillow which was a much needed. We have learned a lot Thanks to Laura Labatt! We also had Sandra Moen an In-Home Designer who listened and took notes to our needs and wants for an ideal sofa. She also helped us walk around looking and trying out certain sofa until we found one! It was an extra plus happiness because at first we had no idea that it was a built in bed! Thanks a bunch ladies! Cant wait till our new mattress and furniture arrives!

Poor Customer Service and Sales Experience!!I ordered a desk and mattress from here at the end of December 2020. 3 months later and Im still dealing with issues with my order.The desk was in stock and scheduled to be delivered on January 6th and I was told Id be contacted the day before with the delivery window. The 6th came and passed and received no word. I called to inquire of the status and was told the sales person had moved the delivery back two weeks but I was never informed of this change. The customer service representative was able to update the delivery to have it delivered the following week instead.The desk arrived and one of the legs was damaged so I called customer service yet again. They arranged for a replacement leg to be sent. When the replacement arrived it was not only the wrong color but it was the wrong leg. Contacted customer service yet again and they arranged to have the full desk replaced.When I purchased the bed, the sales associate told me there was a promotion to receive a gift card with my purchase. I asked if the gift card was store credit or a prepaid gift card and after confirming with her manager, I was assured it was indeed a Visa gift card. When the gift card arrived in the mail it was NOT a Visa gift card but was store credit. Called to see what was going on here and was assured by the sales associate, she would get back to me that day. Two days later still no word and called back and left a message. Two days later and still no update so I called again. A customer service representative told me it was a store credit and there was nothing they could do about it. When I raised that the sales associate shouldnt be telling people wrong they said well theres nothing we can do about it. I cant help but feel like I was misled to make the sale.It should also be noted that for a company that advertises themselves as having Minnesotas Guaranteed Lowest Prices that when researching prices on some of their beds, I was able to find several instances of the same mattress at other furniture stores in Minnesota for several hundred dollars less. When I asked the sales associate about this she just said there was nothing she could do and shed buy somewhere else too.Needless to say, the whole experience has been one headache after another and I am very disappointed with the experience. I will be looking elsewhere for my future needs and would recommend you do the same (unless of course you enjoy dealing with one issue after another)!

I had a great experience at Becker Furniture where I purchased living room furniture! Richard Pace helped me and was so pleasant and answered all of my questions. He didnt chat constantly like some sales people do while I was looking around. The whole process went smoothly.
Well it didnt start out the way I wanted it to buy it ended up great..I couldnt get upset with the staff for covid-19, delays for the manufacturer or their supply chain..slowing down production. That being said we came to a very suitable business solution... They stood behind the sale, made sure that I was 💯 satisfied.. with their equitable solution I was able to purchase additional merchandise at a considerable discount for all the discomfort I was put through...... I was working directly with the overall store manager who took her role Seriously proving me with a workable solution... I would definitely go back there again for future purchases.Thanks,Ray
Debra Backer was our sales associate this past Saturday. She was pleasant to work with, took time to answer our questions, and helped us navigate through multiple couches until we found the one that fit our needs. She was enthusiastic and excited that we found the couch we wanted. I wasnt interested in the overly expensive electric options and was wanting a manual reclining sofa. This didnt seem to dissuade her at all and she still treated us as if we were buying a whole house worth of furniture. Delivery is scheduled for Thursday but so far it has been a great experience. We were initially very pleased with the service we received within the store and we’re very excited to get our couch and ottoman. We purchased these in December, and were told the ottoman was on back order and we’d be getting it around March. We were recently told it won’t be coming untill June/July. The couch arrived in January, and the movers bringing it in were extremely rough with it. One guy carried it up the stairs himself and had removed the legs from it. He dropped it in the hallway before bringing the other piece inside, all while another guy unbagged the pillows. As they carried the couch into my living room I noticed the bottom “fabric” was flowing and no longer stapled onto the couch. I kind of ignored it assuming you wouldn’t be able to see it. They put the legs back on, aggressively stripping each one as they did. We were excited for this couch, though disappointed you could see the fabric hanging down. We contacted the store to see if they could send someone to fix it or get a discount or something, and from what I understood is they could send someone out to determine if we could get a discount or we could exchange the couch. We chose to exchange the couch, and this was the worst decision we could have made. The new couch squeaks and creeks so much. So we contacted them again, they sent out some guy who flipped the couch into our coffee table, ripped the bottom off and added some staples and screws to “fix” our brand new couch. The initial squeak in the back went away, but now it squeaks everywhere else. It’s at the point you avoid moving when sitting down just to avoid making noise. Not only does it squeak it also has strings lifting up from the fabric pretty regularly.We’ve tried to contact them to see how we can fix this, as it’s highly disappointing to spend so much money on a couch only for it to sound like it’s falling apart each time we sit on it, but we haven’t been contacted back as far as we’re aware. At this point I honestly wish we had purchased the more expensive couch we really wanted from a different store, because it was the same amount of money we spent *with* the ottoman that we haven’t even received yet. I have no idea if this is something we can return or exchange or even get our money back and you take it away. We’re highly disappointed and honestly extremely sad we spent so much money on something that is worse quality than a couch from ikea. I avoided making a review until now because I’m upset we haven’t been contacted again. If anyone reads this maybe contact me via my email or cell phone, as we’d like this resolved.

They provided excellent help with selecting a new mattress. They did not push us to the highest price mattress as they focused on comfort first. I will go back for future purchases.
