Went in looking for a birthday present for a good friend who smokes cigars. Tobacco Grove is quite the spot. A cozy spot with oversized chairs, TVs and plenty of cigars to choose from whether youre a novice or expert.Great place to hang out with friends, watch Sunday football or just sit back and relax with your favorite cigar.The staff is always super friendly and knowledgeable.

For several years, I have shopped at this store a couple times of year to purchase from their sizeable selection of mid-level and premium cigars. I have always found customer service to be relatively pleasant and helpful. However I must now find a new tobacco store after a 21-year old black family member and friend had a poor experience on January 16, 2021 while looking to purchase several cigars for a special family occasion. After hearing their story, I believe store management used racial profiling to make them feel unwelcome and had asked them to leave without just cause. I might have expected this type of employee behavior in 1960s Alabama, not 2021 Minnesota. A subsequent call by a family member to the store to better understand the situation did not adequately resolve the situation or provide adequate justification for the behavior and actions taken by store employee. Therefore, I cannot support this local business moving forward. Discouraging and unfortunate.

My first trip to tabacco Grove was on my 18th birthday, I was educated on the proper use of a pipe, and walked out with black Cavendish, and a hand full of cigars. This place set the bar so high that I cant go to any other tobacco shop in this area. The atmosphere is great and the owner knows his stuff, and the place is always professional. Just dont ask for cigarettes.. :)

This place is amazing! The selection is top and the staff are super knowledgeable about their products. The fact that it is also a smoking lounge is amazing! I kicked back in a comfy chair with my book and a nice cigar. It was so enjoyable. I will state that I felt a bit odd in there at first as I seem to be one of very few women that goes there. This feeling passed very quickly though as everyone I encountered was a complete gentleman.

My brother and I called in to ask if they had some Roma craft cigars on hand. They said they did and even volunteered to stay 10-15 minutes after closing to give us time to pick the sticks up. What customer service! I’ve smoked in the lounge twice before and it’s spacious, comfy seating, and the staff are very friendly. I highly recommend this lounge.

A very fine shop with friendly staff. They are very knowledgeable in Pipes and Cigars and answer any question. They have a very nice humidor, and a nice selection of pipes and pipe tobacco. There lounge is very comfortable. My pipe club has meet here several times and the staff has always been very welcoming.

I love this place, very nice selection in the well kept walk in humidor. Cigars have always been fresh and tasty. The lounge is very comfortable, lots of seating. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful.Its a great pace to hang with a large group of friends, yet intimate enough to have a good conversion with a friend.Whenever Im in town from Missouri, I stop by. Wish we had a shop like this where I live.

I live four hours away and its worth the trip every time! Multiple lounges to sit and enjoy one of your favorites. They have a great selection of cigars, pipes, lighters, humidors and accessories. The staff is great! Very knowledgeable, friendly and willing to help. I am still impressed they remembered me and recalled the conversation we had on my first visit. Kole helped me spend my cash. He was very helpful and provided a guided tour of the place my first visit. I left with many favorites and many Im sure Ill enjoy when the time comes. I will definitely be returning a often as I can. This place is heaven on Earth. The environment and the people are fantastic! All of the employees are very knowledgeable and very friendly. You can sit in here for an hour or stay all day. The choice of cigars is incredible and they are all stores in a walk in humidor. Whether you are a seasoned smoker or are just getting into this place is the best in the state!

Im not quite a regular here, since it is across town from me, but I feel like one when I walk in. The guys that work here know how to make you feel welcome, they always remember you and even seem to remember your conversations. I walk in and get asked follow up questions about a conversation from two months ago. The only thing I would change is the location so I could go here more often. This is the best tobacco shop in town and it isnt even close.

They have big screen TV in different lounge areas comfortable leather chair and the most helpful and knowledgeable staffs (except for Paul) you could ask for. So if you looking for a great place to have a smoke and relax for awhile stop in and enjoy, you will enjoy the experience.

TG is not only the best cigar lounge in Minnesota, its one of the best cigar lounges in the country.The humidor is enormous. The seatings areas are plentiful, well-ventilated (most of the time), and non-exclusive. The staff is both friendly and knowledgeable. I thoroughly enjoyed visiting their shop. Being a new comer to the Cigar Industry I was pleasantly surprised by how kinda and helpful everyone there was. I met the owner and he went out of his was to show my friend and I some cigars in our price point. He also spent time to educate us and teach us on proper storage methods which is huge when buying in bulk. Although they have high end products, there is also a good amount for the regular/low end smoker like myself. If you need help or advice or looking for a REALLY good cigar selection, please visit them. Thanks guys!

Love this shop - staff is insanely friendly, helpful, and knowledgable. Lots of seating and TVs, cheap non-alcoholic beverages, and just an all-around fun hangout for me and my cigar-smoking friends. The facility is also well-kept, clean, and the ventilation system is pretty darn good, considering the number of people who are usually in there smoking. Im incredibly new to smoking cigars. So when I went into the massive humidor at the store, it was quite overwhelming. One of the staff found us wandering around and asked if we needed any help. I described generally what I was looking for (a mild to medium strength cigar with plenty of flavor) and he walked us through the various brands that he enjoyed in that strength. He was incredibly knowledgeable about anything and everything cigar related. We walked out with a fist full of excellent cigars at a reasonable price and were sure to be back soon, especially during the cold season in Minnesota. We didnt try out the lounge, but the chairs and environment looked incredibly welcoming.

My go-to shop whenever Im looking for a smoke. Its an extra bonus that sampling is allowed indoors. Their selection has multiple brand representations and they can always make a recommendation if Im looking for suggestions. Cutters, lighters, pipes, and tobaccos; I rarely turn down a chance to stop in for a smoke.

Not large as store made room for those who want to can take chairs to plug into AC power for laptop. Comfy chairs, good ventilation, free WiFi (ask staff for code), several TVs. Think man cave. Regular customers play cribbage.
