I don’t even want to review this, because I want this place to stay a hidden gem. But, this place is without a doubt a really unique little thrift boutique in its own way. Really great place

I tried to get rid of a old cd holder I no longer had any use for, as the sign said they accepted stuff for electronics. When I approached the employee about the item she gave me a rude glance and said “we no longer buy this type of item” in a snarky tone, and then turned away without saying anything else. I understand if you don’t want to buy an item from someone but there’s no reason to be rude about it. A little bit of kindness goes a long way, especially when dealing with paying customers.

We love New Uses, have never seen so many cool nick nacks, framed pictures, kitchen utensils,electronics which they back-up with a 7 day trial, if not satisfied return & just cool stuff that you wouldnt find anywhere else & not to mention the sales help very friendly & eager to help with any questions you may have.

Great place and lots of great items or merchandise. But double check items. Bought a set of dominoes was told that it was a complete set. Got home and was missing two pieces. So beware of what you purchase

We had an bad experience shopping at that store. Bad customer service, and impolite staff. No help comes from staff at all on carrying stuff like big items to the car. My mom is an old lady. They didnt even offer to help her to take the item she bought (big wooden cabinet) to her car. One of the staff literally yelled at my kid in the store to not run. Anyway despite great products the staff are very rude, cheecky and unprofessional.

Great place to find unique items. If you are looking for wall decor, lamps, candle holders shop here first. Some prices are a little high for prior owned items but some prices are very fair. Very friendly staff and very clean store, things are organized nicely.

Great selection of items...friendly and helpful people. They pay cash on the spot for well cared for home items.

I love new uses. This store has anything you could possibly dream for your home. This last time I bought a clock for $35 and the ebay price was over $150. The employees generally are helpful. They helped me one time to plan out my living room, just by knowing the color of my paint. Just a wonderful store. I bought a bunch of picture frames to spray paint. The ones on sale were just the right price under a dollar.

Great resale store with fun items for sale. Great place to sell items, and they pay fairly good for items bought. Kind staff as well.

Very surprised by some of the negative comments. I have been going here for years with nothing but great things to say. I find most of their prices and condition of items far better than Goodwill. They sell some brand new items as well as slightly used. Employees are always busy checking with Shoppers to see if they need anything. The store is clean and items are displayed nicely with prices clearly marked. While you don’t get a lot of money for items you sell to them they are a business and have to be able to make a profit. Some money is better than no money without the hassle of trying to sell items myself with people constantly being no shows. I do miss the extra money off once you reach a certain amount of money spent with in the store and would like to see this offering returned.

Wearing masks isnt a personal choice when you work with the public! Make your employees wear masks. Unacceptable that you promise a safe shopping experience and your employees regularly dont wear masks! Will not be returning!

One of my wifes favorite stores. I appreciate how clean it is. The people that work here are attentive and cheery. They are always welcoming and happy to help you find something. Theres one employee that is especially chatty. I think her name is Rebecka. She often over shares and holds you up. Sometimes its awkward and unprofessional. They have an amazing selection of decor. Not old or grimey like some thrift stores. Selling is easy and quick! I highly suggest giving them a shot.

Waste of time selling things to them. First, they give you very little for stuff thats worth twice as much. Then go back and resell it for double the price they paid you. Second, they have too many rules of what they will take and will not take. I would rather donate my unwanted stuff than take it to them and have them refuse everything and I have to take everything back home. Too much work. Definitely would not recommend selling your unwanted items to them.

I love this store so much. I go in at least once a month to see what new stuff they have! Very reasonable prices and a wide variety of items to choose from. The staff is very nice and offer to take your items up front for you until you’re ready to check out. If I ever need anything for our home, this is always the first place I check. Worth the trip every time.

Reasonably priced 2nd hand shop

This place is jam packed with treasures. Furniture, pillows, garden stuff, and lots and lots of wall art and kitchen stuff. Mostly very good quality and reasonably priced. Very clean shop, no thrift store smell. I will definitely be hitting it up again!

Easy to sell small home decor things there and is always a fun treasure hunt to look around. They always have great kitchen supplies, so I always check here first to find great quality stuff that lasts.

My new favorite thrift/used store. They have such great items at good prices, most in new or like new condition. They even have nice furniture!

I stop in to New Uses store in Maple Grove several times a month. There is always a great selection of merchandise. The staff is so helpful. It is a fun experience every time I shop there.

We bought a mattress and frame there and had some problems with them matching so we had to come back. Brandon was phenomenal - very patient and was committed to do everything he could until the issue was resolved to our ultimate satisfaction. I will definitely go back there. Love this place, its my go to for frames and artwork. Ive also sold stuff there and it was easier than listing on Craigslist. They always have sales or days with discounts

I do like this store get nice things for discount price. Though I dont like the service. I feel like they encroach and are too in my business. I dont like feeling pressured to make a decision on something, and I have that last few times when they come and hover. I will come again but they do make it stressful. Did find some nice things for the house though.It is not that big of a deal. Just increases my stress level. Otherwise the items here are great and the people can be friendly just too much for me. Lovely store. Although, I have never seen their noses turn up. Its odd, but would be a most impressive trick!

This is the best consignment store I have ever been to. If youre looking for any type of Home Goods this is the place to go. They have hundreds of pictures and very very reasonably priced. I usually walk out with a few items and spend around $20. You can get a giant picture for 20 to $30. This is a store my friends and I plan to frequent often.

I stop by every week or two to see what new things they get in. I have found many things and gotten great deals on most items Ive had purchased. Today I bought a party Dipper that looks like its new in the box for $5.

I found the perfect dinning room table for my sister. Everyone whos seen it absolutely loves it and cant believe how low the price was. This is my new favorite store!

The furniture, employees, service, and owner are all phenomenal. I have bought countless items here and always swing by when I have the chance. Honestly, they are consistently doing fantastic work and it shows in their character. Keep up the great work, everyone!

Customer service sucks these people are not good people and do not know how to conduct customer service they do not follow the book because they are privately owned they feel as if they can make their own rules. As well I seen some kind of situation in the store between them and a young black women they where talking down to her as if she was stupid the owner and the manger where very disrespectful

Furniture is overpriced especially for the quality and condition of most items. But the smaller household items are great. There has only been a couple of times that I have walked out empty handed. I wish they had better sales, coupons or something. I feel like I would shop there more often.

Deals to be found here! Know your prices because they are a cheaper version of Home Goods. Yet on some items they are a bit high. Used CDs and DVDs for example. They do have a clearance box of older media though which is really cool. The variety of items gives you a different experience each time.

Store is clean, stocked with household items, vast array of artwork and furniture pieces/sets. Owners were attentive and pleasant. Happily, I scored some great deals today. New Uses one of my Top Thrifting FAVORITES! This is one you MUST check out; you will be happy you visited.

Love new and Use lot of things to look for in buying for home.

I’ve been to a lot of used goods stores and this one far exceeds the others. For being fairly small they have a huge selection that is organized extremely well. Items are clean and easy to look at. I avoid garage sales due to the lack of organization and the filth. New Uses only takes quality items. The owner was super helpful ordering something we seen in the store directly from the wholesaler, he assembled and delivered. Something you wouldn’t think of from a thrift store, just proving this is no ordinary thrift store!!!

They pretty much take anything. Which is great when you want to get rid of things quick without hassle. Just wish their payouts would be more.

Are you still shopping retail first after all of my reviews....shame on you! This place is my go to shop for all things household and electronics! A dear friend needed an older style potato masher. She tried 6 stores in Maryland no luck. I stopped in New Uses and found it for $1.50 bought 2 and sent them to her. even with shipping the total expense was under $7! Please do not sleep on the finds at this great Minnesota grown store!

Ann the manager was completely rude about tax exempt. I am a legitimate business buying for resale and she does not know how the state has it setup. Awful customer service will never buy from them again. Educate your employees or find new ones. Will be reporting to state of mn

Glorified garage sale. Mostly good condition merchandise. Attendants are fairly helpful but you have to go get them.

They do have a lot of interesting knick·knack things to see. My disappointment came with some of the dollar store type items that we were quite over-priced. They have a wonderful smelling incense throughout the store that I was going to inquire about, but they were busy at day end. I think though, the incense was to cover the smell of a decaying body laying somewhere in the store! Ill be back since I felt rushed because I walked in just before close.

Its a nice store if youre looking to buy household items, not so great if youre looking to sell. They purchase items for 1/3 of what they would sell them for, not what the actual retail value is. Id stick to using OfferUp and 5miles when selling stuff

Oh boy. This is a gem for used home furnishings. Great stuff-they weed out the junk-reasonable prices.

This store holds up as far as selection and cleanliness. Not perfect. But then again, what is?

Racist. Items I brought in were quite similar to items they had but the person working turned her nose up to my husband and I. Will never go back. Did not experience this at the store in Minnetonka.

This place is a joke!!!!!!! I went into it yesterday to sell some of my glassware and only got 1.60 for two small princess house pieces. Then they told me that my stemware was not dishwasher safe and they can not accept items with gold on them. My items were a hundred times nicer then the crap they are trying to sell I would never go back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
