I think Dr McCarthy is amazing but I’ve had other issues at the clinic including learning on accident that I overpaid $52 over a year ago and the clinic never returned it. They have it on my file as a credit but never notified me or returned my money. Some other disappointing things have occurred as well.*Edit*Sounds like the clinic is working to put new policies in place to resolve these credit issues. They have returned my money after an email and phone call.

Kristin was so helpful with all of my eyewear needs today. She did a great job of fitting my new sunglasses, as well as helping out with adjustments of two other pairs that I needed done. Keep up the good work!

I just LOVE going to Eye Care Center each year for my routine exams! Dr. McCarty is so friendly and she always seems so happy to see her patients! And then...when it comes to getting new frames and/or lenses, I cannot recommend Allie enough! Oh my goodness! That girl knows her stuff! Shes so good at picking out frames that compliment ones facial features. And, its not always the most expensive options either! Id also be remiss if I didnt say that shes not shy about giving her honest opinion! For me....that is KEY! So many sales people will just tell you what they think you want to hear. She is always honest and I really appreciate that!

Great and friendly staff! Very knowledgeable doctors with an excellent bed side manner. The previous eye clinic had the wrong prescription for me and the doctor here corrected the problem, got me the correct prescription! I would highly recommend this place. The environment feels home and they treat you just like family.

Every single person involved in the process ...from setting up my appointment all the way through to picking out my glasses were so amazing...super nice and just super fun and helpful. There is a huge selection of really adorable and fun frames to pick from. I can’t say enough good things about this place and their employees. Dr. McDevitt was so helpful and really focused on helping me with all my eye needs. I seriously can’t wait to go pick up my glasses!

The optician I worked with told me not to mention his name, so I won’t out of respect. He was courteous and kind. I never felt pressured to make a purchase and they freely gave me my prescription without expectation. I needed up purchasing some sunglass lenses and that was all. Never having the need for glasses or contacts a few years back As I was reaching 50 years old I want to contacts tried another eye center It was a disaster.I gave up Thinking I could have contacts. I moved 40 min away from this store, but still make the drive back for all my eye care needs because the place is so wonderful.They’re great about using multiple platforms - email, call, text - to get ahold of me and help me schedule something convenient. They’re nothing but smiles and support while working with me in the building.Finally, the sales staff in the glasses part of the building is unparalleled. I mean it, these guys and gals are great. They’re so up-to-date on what the fashions and trends in glasses are. They let me know what looks good and why it looks good. And the recommendations truly are valid. They sold me a pair of glasses that I wasn’t sure about, nor I wasn’t sure that I needed them; fast forward one month and they are easily my favorite pair of glasses that I’ve ever had.I can’t say enough good things about this place.Get there. If you aren’t getting glasses and eyecare here you’re missing out.

Liked the experienced doctor. And the staff was very helpful. The selection of sunglasses could be better. They had a better selection of kid sized sunglasses then adult - yes they have Maui Jim and Oakley, but these are supper expensive - their Ray-ban and other mid priced name brands were lacking. My biggest beef is that they sent me a $25 birthday coupon that had restrictions - I had to bring up my displeasure for them to honor it - I feel that if you are bothering to send a birthday gift it should come without restrictions, especially when you always spend hundreds of dollars.

Im so glad I went here. The doctors I worked with were wonderful. I saw Dr. Alvarado, who was great!! I will definitely see her regularly for my eye exams. She talked to me for quite a while answering my questions. I really felt listened to and not rushed.I needed glasses afterwards, and Allie was so patient and great with me. I have no idea what glasses looked good on me, so Allie grabbed a bunch of frames, and even other opticians for opinions! I was there quite a while and they were so patient and nice. I picked them up and theyre absolutely perfect.Ive received several compliments on them, and several people asked me who I went to. Im happy to recommend them to my friends and coworkers!

I have always struggled with getting fitted for contacts. Dr Keith has been amazing! He listened and didnt give up until we found ones that fit perfectly! When you walk into the Maple Grove location its like walking into your local small town shop! Love this welcoming staff!!!

Picking out glasses with Allie was a breeze. Before coming to the eye care center, I would leave the eye doctor with glasses that did the job, but I didn’t like to wear.Allie is able to pick out frames that suite your face, while also being comfortable and stylish. My experience unfortunately was not very good. I had to get my eye glasses made 4 times and still the glasses were not correctly made as I expected. I had to continue using my old glasses which still suit me fine. I have an astigmatism issue and even a degree here or there makes a tremendous difference to me. I will not recommend anyone to this place.

I cant say enough about the care my significant other received here this week. He was treated with professionalism and assistance by Angie. We will be coming back here again and again and sending out the message, that Eye Care Center of Maple Grove is where people need to go for eye care, if they want to be treated with excellent service. Overall my experience was great. The exam was very through and the doctor took the time to answer any questions I had. It was a lot of fun picking out a new pair of glasses with the fun gals in the office.

I had a reoccurring problem with cracked prescription lenses on my Oakley Flak sunglasses. The Maple Grove staff was instrumental in securing replacement lenses. This was not easy! They stood by me the entire way. You will be hard pressed to find a more caring and professional staff.

I have great experience with the team, i love the frames i get and is unique, you cant find a lot of places, great environment.

Nothing but the best.Started going here about 1 year ago as I was new to the area. I was having trouble with my contacts and Dr. Jordan Keith helped me try out 4 different types of contacts (daily and monthly) until we found the right fit. Dr. Keith is an incredibly nice guy and all the staff are just as helpful. Overall, great experience, I highly recommend. They even polished up my 15 year old glasses and gave me some new nose pads.

I came in to price check on glasses. I dont have any insurance. Angie helped me out with all of my questions and details of what I need and talked to me about options Ive never heard of. She was great. I have been with my eye doctor for years but now that I live in Rogers Ill be making my appointment with one of your doctors whom she also recommended. Very expensive fees and product. We were told that anti reflective coating was included in our insurance coverage so my wife took it. When it was time to pay we were confused about the total bill so we asked for an explanation. We were then told that the coating was not covered so we agreed on a refund. The next day they called us and told us they could not cancel the coating process. We got the refund 15mins after the appointment. They then told us we would have to pay for it, even after getting a refund. They said they would call us back the next day, no call. I called back left a voicemail on the main line because the number on the menu did not work. I heard back two days later. The front desk always seemed to mention they did not know what the back room did. The receptionist would always refer us to be transferred back to optical to get more information. I did however get a $20 discount because of the poor service after telling them I am not paying.The experience was very frustrating and unprofessional. We felt we were manipulated into buying things we did not need and was told it was too late. The front desk pretty much knew nothing about my case and we were always passed along. After leaving a message to have a supervisor call back, nothing. I will not go back there and will not refer anyone. They obviously dont value customers as much as their profits. I think its because they are located in Maple Grove so they think they can charge whatever they like.

Ive spent many years wanting to try out contacts, and finally got referred to the Eye Care Center by Allie! Her team was helpful and informative. Couldnt have asked for a better experience.

The eye examination experience was fine and doctor is friendly and well informative however their sales staff for frames and lenses is very poor. The staff is straight out rude and has no desire to help. They are lazy or they think trying to finish their work while a customer waits is a higher priority. I have been to their Fridley location and staff there is a lot better to work with. Which tells me it’s not the eye care center across but just maplegrove location. The sales staff needs either to be trained or hire a better talent who is polite and likes to sell things.

Made an appointment, TWO weeks ago. For an emergency eye visit. Just to be getting phone calls for a couple days now to cancel the appointment.. Because they didn’t get information from my previous clinic. Which they did.. But they apparently don’t check their mail before making threatening phone calls. Only to realize they received it a while ago, as they’re on the phone with me. To then change those phone calls an hour before the appointment to now be about insurance. Which would not be an issue at all. As I haven’t billed insurance for eye purposes in years. They are far more worried about billing insurance and getting their money than the actual patient. I waited for this for two weeks to end up with no help, and no appointment. Don’t waste your time. Find another clinic. Very unprofessional.Update to response:Educate me on insurance? Hah that is definitely not what was happening. The same lady.... in the same phone call (let me remind you I got like a billion from this place)Told me they can’t help me”today” and I should reschedule. Whaaat? I’ve been waiting for this for two weeks? And then repeatedly asked what I paid with for my previous appointment, at another clinic. If I kindly told her I did NOT bill insurance for that appointment...that means I didn’t bill insurance. And I don’t see why she had to ask the same thing another three times. Nothing “educational” about it.I obviously scheduled this appointment because I needed it.Luckily the next place i called was someof the best customer service I have had. Scheduled me for the closest appointment time. Not once did they call me to ask me questions that were “none of their concern” I had a whole new eye exam and dilation. Insurance was billed and covered everything just fine.... went as smoothly as it possibly can. As it should at any professional clinic. But thank you for your reply. If that was “your best clinical care possible” I could not be any happier about that appointment not working out.

Lve been coming to Eye Care Center of Maple Grove for a few years and Ive always been impressed. Dr. Keith was very informative and their prices on lenses and frames are competitivly priced with other retailers.

Pleasant staff, unhurried exam, everyone I spoke to was professional and helpful. I have no hesitation recommending this place to anyone whos looking for quality eye care at a reasonable price.

Ive always hated wearing glasses but the ones I bought from Eye Care Centers changed my opinion completely! The digital lenses actually allow me to see while wearing them. My vision is so bad that typically contacts were the only thing I felt comfortable wearing, especially when driving, but now I can wear contacts or glasses and see just as well with both.The optician did make a mistake when quoting out the prices but we were able to find a compromise. Mistakes happen - they handled it well. It doesnt take away from the experience, and end result.

Made appointment for wifes annual eye exam and verified that it would be covered under VSP insurance. After exam, bill arrived. Not billed to VSP insurance. Multiple requests to billing office/doctor and they stand firm in that they will not bill VSP.I wouldnt bring a blind dog here.

Roosevelt is the reason I have purchased numerous RX glasses and sunglasses from this store. Whenever I have an issue, I stop by and he takes care of it. I have also referred friends to Maple Grove Optical- more selection than any other store in town.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. From the moment I walked in, to my smiling exit, this was a good experience. I was able to book a contact exam 2 hours in advance, or I wouldnt have gone. The nice lady who checked me in was very sweet and likable and helped me with the paperwork. The charming lady who saw me before the doctor made me feel very welcome and comfortable while explaining what to expect and prepping me for the Doc. There was hardly any waiting and the tests went smoothly as Doc treated me like a welcome guest in a professional, yet personable manner. I got to meet Roosevelt only briefly, but I look forward to buying my glasses from him, since he was so friendly and genuine. I have been going to the eye care center at least 15 years. I started in the maplewood store and when they bought the maple grove eye clinic I started goIng there being as though it was closer to home.I started working with Carrie right away. She has taken care of me so much. I value her opinion when trying on different glasses. She has wonderful suggestions that will fit my face. Now Allie is there and she is wonderful as well to work with. Value both opinions of the ladies there.One of the best things I can say about Carrieis she is the only one that could get my Maui- Jim’s adjusted to where I like the fit.

I have been going to Opthamologists and optometrists since I was 6 years old. I have lived all over the country (Boston, Manhattan, Miami, Houston, Los Angeles) and I was super impressed with Dr . Tina McCartys confidence, efficiency, knowledge and care of my vision. No one has even suggested that my contacts correct my astigmatism and with this change, I can see so much better when I drive. I have also been a glaucoma suspect for years and I felt confident that McCarty will lead me to a specialist if needed in the future. I am new to Maple Grove and with my history, I was nervous about finding a good doctor. I can see why she won the Minnesota Optometric Associations optometrist of the year award. Top notch. Im very picky and was so pleased. Great eyewear collection as well.

The front desk person, medical technician, and the optometrist, Dr. McCarthy were all nice, friendly, and professional. They answered all my questions & gave me all the time I needed.

I have not been seen as a patient here but i have been in the store part several times and the service I received was outstanding both times I was in.

Not only was the sales staff able to find me a perfect pair, they were able to get me in for an exam the next day and have my new glasses ready by Friday. The doctor was very thourough and kind.
