The staff are really friendly and helpful. They also have really great quality cakes and treats. I loved their white chocolate raspberry cake and cookie dough. I wanna go back and try more soon.

From her hospitality during the initial tasting to the beautiful final product, the process of ordering our wedding cake from Dawn was fun and stress-free. We wanted a simple white tiered cake decorated with fresh greenery, and she executed our vision beautifully. All of the flavors we tasted were great; we ultimately went with vanilla cake, lemon curd filling, and lemon frosting, and it was absolutely delicious (special shout out to the INCREDIBLE lemon curd)! Moist, flavorful, classic, and perfect for summertime. We received tons of compliments and had family members happily digging into the leftovers the next day. :) We would recommend Sugar and Spice to anyone looking for tasty, beautiful, locally made cakes.

My son and I visited Dawn at Sugar and Spice Sweetery last week. Darling bakery and fantastic customer service! Not only did we go home with delicious sweet treats, we also brought home their edible cookie dough. The yummy cookie dough doubled as a fun activity for my son and I to bake together making delicious chocolate chip cookies at home!! We were so incredibly thrilled with Dawn at Sugar and Spice Custom Cakery. She was very easy and fun to work with, and the cupcakes we chose (lemon, almond, and peanut butter chocolate) were such a hit at our wedding. In addition to the wonderful cupcakes, working with Dawn before the wedding and the day-of was very easy. She was very responsive to any changes we needed and even made a separate batch of gluten-sensitive friendly cupcakes for a few of our guests. And, as an added bonus, she is even making us a complimentary one-year anniversary cake next year! My now-husband and I would highly recommend Dawn.

Dawn was great to work with! The cupcakes were amazing and gone before we knew it—the guests loved them! We shared a small cake with our wedding party which was also a big hit!! Dawn is absolutely amazing and crazy talented! She was the first and only cake tasting we did. Her cakes are so good and the variety of flavors you can choose from is out of this world. She made us a 5 tier wedding cake with 4 different flavors. Dawn hand decorated the cake and also added handmade roses. She made a cake to feed 202 people, we had 155 guests and there was no cake left by the end of the night! I got so many compliments about the cake. As part of buying a wedding cake through Dawn, she also adds in a free anniversary cake that she makes fresh for your one year anniversary. I am so happy we hired Dawn and will recommend her to anyone looking for cake, cupcakes, or cookies for any occasion!

We had the pleasure of working with Dawn for our wedding cake and she went above and beyond. We originally planned on a simple 4 tiered cake and as we got closer to our wedding date I added on sugar sculptures of our two dogs and sugar flowers. Dawn was very patient with me and my many requests to update and add to our cake. In the end our cake was everything I ever dreamed of and so much more! Our wedding guest raved about how great the flavors were, how big the pieces were and how beautiful our cake was. Dawn told me that I would we able to keep our sugar sculptures for years to come and now they are displayed in our kitchen as a little keepsake. We cant wait to work with Dawn on all of our future life events!

Dawn created custom cookies for a military promotion party. She made an officer’s insignia that replicated the real thing so perfectly that it was staid - not whimsical - exactly what we were looking for. She also made cookies with colorful stars and stripes. They were a tremendous hit! She worked easily and expertly with my many requirements, including nut free and corn syrup free. She was so easy to work with, prompt and reliable.

We got a variety of Sugar and Spice Cakelettes and they were perfect! They are stunning in presentation, and amazing in taste. Wife picked up a cake that we ordered for our party.Good thing she picked it up the day before not the day of. Cake went straight into the trash because Dawn refused to issue a refund, saying thats what we ordered. When infact we ordered a professional baked cake not one by a 5yr old.She sent us a sketch of the cake prior to baking it. Its like comparing night & day. Looks nothing alike.

Im helping my best friend prepare for her gender reveal party. We set everything up the desert table and had a beautiful spot for the $200 cake as a center piece. Unfortunately my friend is too embarrassed to even serve this cake to her friends. It looks maybe worth $50. It really feels like we got cake catfished. All of Dawns photos look beautiful so when we received this cake we were both in shock. My friends husband called and kindly told her that this cake isnt what was expected at all. They asked for a refund and Dawns response was the check already went through, no refunds absolutely do not recommend this lady to anyone.
