We thought we had a problem with our dehumidifier, as it was not keeping the set humidity level (which it had done well for several years). Heating And Cooling Two was able to get out within the same week. Pat came out today and was outstanding. He went above and beyond the call of duty, testing the dehumidifier and explaining each step in detail and what the results meant. Turned out the dehumidifier was just fine and doing a great job. He also went the extra mile to give several potential options of what was potentially causing the humidity problem. No overselling or up charging, just honest high quality work. Highly recommended!

We had our AC fail during one of the hottest weeks of the year. I called Mike Spaude and he was so calm and ensuring that everything was going to be ok. Mike was out the very next day to size up a new unit and I not once felt pressured and again was extremely polite, professional and ensured us not to worry he has everything covered. They scheduled immediately and did an amazing job on install and left the work cleaner than when they arrived. The company handles everything from rebates, warranty registration, and even the call from Mike to ensure we are comfortable and tips on keeping the unit in top shape. Alright it’s been a long time since I had these guys out but wanted to write this anyway. I was in one of those “it’s -35 and my furnace doesn’t run” scenarios this past January. Now my furnace is four years old (but out of warranty because we aren’t the original home owners) and had been serviced for the same error by two other companies. I called midday Friday and talked to a really nice woman over the phone. Since this isn’t the first time this has happened I knew how to reset the error and make the furnace run for a couple hours. She gave me the option for emergency service or an appointment first thing Monday. I opted for the appointment but she gave me the emergency 24/7 contact info too. When the tech (Eric) showed up Monday we went over what had already been done by the other two companies and what (little) I knew beyond that. Quite depressingly the first thing he did was undo some of what the last company did. Then he explained what the real issue was and that it was a very common issue with my furnace. He fixed it quickly and checked a few other parameters (which were off and he fixed). Since his visit it has never had the same fault since.

We had them out to replace an Air Conditioner. We figured while we were at it to replace the furnace as well since they were both 20 years old and original with the house.The rep that came out was very technologically knowledgeable, he did not try to up-sell us and provided a very detailed processional price quote sheet with many options to choose from. He even noticed we were missing a furnace vent cover on the outside of our home and added that to the job order.The installation went amazing, they were on time, finished ahead of schedule and left no trace of a mess. They walked me through how to maintain everything, answered all of my questions on the dos and donts to keep my system running smooth for years to come.Financing was a snap and they take care of all of the paperwork for you. (Permits, tax forms, rebates, warranty registration).I would highly recommend them!!

The woman I talked to was literally mean...you should NEVER be mean to someone??? I call a lot of places in a day, working with all kinds of businesses and no one has ever treated me like that. They installed AC and Furnace and re-did all the wiring and plumbing as per code. Previous installers had taken many short cuts, which Heating and Cooling2 corrected all. It took them two days to bring every bit to code and did the entire work in time and in utmost professional way. We are extremely glad with their work and will recommend them if you want a very neat clean professional job .

I have used this company to install HVAC at my own home and recommended them for the same at my mother’s. Overall a very good experience.

19 year old HVAC system needed replacement, these guys showed up and removed old, installed new all under 6 hours.

I would not give them my business. Scheduled a technician to give me an estimate for heating work. No one came and got no follow up call with an explanation. When I was able to get a hold of the technician who was supposed to come out, he told me that he drove my by house and saw that another company’s vehicle was in the driveway so he did not have time to stop. Didnt bother to let me know. I had to call their shop and reach out to them when after several hours no one was there. In reality, yes there was another company’s vehicle in my driveway as I was doing my due diligence and getting other quotes. The other company was leaving so it’s not like they were going to be there at the same time. Had the they just called and told me they were’t coming and why, it would have easily been figured out. Not good business and will not be getting any future business or referrals from me.

I havent had work done but I would not hire after one of their employees in a company van were driving inappropriately. Your in a neighborhood and trying to ride my vehicle for going the speed limit, and sped off waving on the highway. You need to remember you drive a mobile billboard and keep your cool.It gives me the impression they would act the same on the job, no thanks.

Heating and Cooling Two has been handling our service calls since we bought our house in Savage MN. Discovered them because of a note on the furnace from previous owner. There service times are usually pretty good and they are flexible. Of course in the fall for furnace work and early spring for A/C work are high demand times so there can be a wait, but they offer after hours emergency service as well. Every other service provider has wait times at these seasonal busy times as well. Their techs have been competent and contentious, offering options and advice. Prices are reasonable.

I priced HVAC systems from five different contractors and three different brands in the summer of 2018. Though I decided at that time to wait to make this large purchase, I was impressed at that time with Heating & Cooling Two and their sales rep, Mike Spaude. Mike provided a very clear, concise bid with options to go up in features or down, with clear pricing. Most importantly, though, was Mikes low/no pressure approach and a willingness to answer numerous questions. Mike also was the only HVAC company to have walked through all the load calculations and equipment sizing selection. I read many reviews about this contractor and the others from which I gathered bids and kept coming back to Heating and Cooling Two.When it came time to choose recently, I ultimately chose Heating and Cooling Two for a full HVAC system replacement of our 19 year old system (builder installed; before it failed, but after a number of repairs to that system over the last few years). Mike had my information from 2018, pulled it up and sent updated bids within a very short time. Again, low/no pressure and lots of questions answered. When I finally chose Heating and Cooling Two, it was because I felt confident in the information provided, competitive pricing, and a clear, informative approach. Mike did not try to up-sell me to equipment that was beyond what I needed, but also didnt try to sell the cheapest system just to save money. It was an honest approach - you can save money that way, but it might not be the best value or you can pay for that top of the line system, but Im not sure in your application youll get the return youd want to see.In the end, I feel like the system we chose has good value, a very, very professional installation and explanation of the hows and whats on the new system. Our experience with heating and cooling 2 has been outstanding--both times! First was during the inspection process of buying a new house, and they came in with the lowest bid and highest quality product by far. They did an exceptional job with the install and were responsive and friendly. The second experience was just recently with a hot water heater. Not only were they the most responsive, but they also reworked their schedule to prioritize our situation. We had two fabulous techs (Dillon and Ryan) out there in an hour. Between them and Mike Spaude who oversaw the project, we had an absolutely top notch experience. Quoted and billed exactly what they said, even when they needed to modify our setup with a slightly more expensive one. We lost heat and one of their techs came out that day and quickly fixed it. This was great. The issue we ran into was with the billing. Short version is that they didnt tell us there would be an additional change before the change was incurred. When I talked to the service manager she said the tech had talked to me about the change before doing the work. This was a lie. Long version below: During the techs diagnosis he fixed the issue (which was a clogged drain plug). After fixing it he came up told me it was fixed then we went down and he pointed out the pressure switch that prevents the gas from turning on when the drain was plugged. At this point he said he was already $40 into the repair and he went to write up the paper work. I work from home and went back to work and my wife paid him. They next day I looked at the bill and saw the $40 change was for clearing the drain. That seemed like something that would be part of the assessment to me so I called the company to talk about it. I told them the tech had fixed the drain and hadnt discussed the additional $40 change before fixing it. They talked to the tech who told them he had talked to me about the change before hand. This was not the case. I really dont care about the $40 charge I wanted the heat working, I do care that he lied to a manager about it. The manager of course believed the tech, which makes since, mangers should believe their trusted employee over a random customer. However, the manger told me about how they are a good company that can be trusted. Really hard for me to hear that when I just saw evidence to the contrary. The manager asked what they could do to make it right and keep our business. I said that when I called I was hoping to hear why this was a charge that wasnt covered by the $110 diagnosis fee and that if it should have been covered Id like to get the money back, but I would not be using them in the future due to trust issues. The manager and I then politely ended the call. The manager did not offer the take action to make this right once I made it clear I would no longer use their company. This furthered my belief that they werent concerned about making this visit right and were concerned about making future visits possible. This is all fine, just not 5 stars. They did good work. However, I will see if I can find someone else that does good work and is concerned about making each visit right and not more about the next visit.

The team at Heating and Cooling Two did an outstanding job in evaluating my HVAC problems and designing a solution. Mike Staube presented me with a comprehensive replacement plan for my old system which was ideal for a retro-fit installation and yet offered me all the new technology and higher efficiency I was after. He provided me with all the equipment specifications and consumer information I needed to make the decision. Dan Herman in the Installations Department had me scheduled for the new install within two days of identifying the problem. The actual installers, Jared and Brian, arrived on time, protected our floors and carpeting, quickly and efficiently removed the old equipment, installed the new equipment and had it operating in a few hours. Their work was extremely well planned, neat and organized. They removed all the old equipment, answered all my questions during the installation of the new equipment and spent over an hour reviewing the new system and its operation with me at the end. From start to finish this was a very professional job, done by highly trained and skilled professionals and we couldnt be happier with the results. The new Bryant Heating and Air Conditioning System is working perfectly. These guys do it the right way. Five Stars.

The service man was very nice and did a tune up and fixed a leak but now the other drain is leaking worse than the first one so I had to turn the air exchanger off. I had told him that both were leaking.

Could not have gone smoother - My blower motor went out on my old system which was 20+ years old. A tech from another company came out and told me that my heat exchange was cracked. I got 5 different quotes and Heating and Cooling Two had the best balance of top quality equipment and price. A top of the line furnace with an AC that is more than adequate for the MN summers. I had quotes for the same equipment that was thousands more. Mike was a pleasure to work with throughout the sales process. The install techs did a really good job, they were on time and very neat and answered all of my questions. The quote was exactly what I needed to pay, no last minute changes or additions. I was sent their way by a neighbor that had used them in the past and, so far, I could not be happier. I definitely recommend them for your HVAC needs.

Wow! The service man, Sean, had the part I needed in his truck and he had the repair donei about 30 minutes. He also adjusted my water flow aftwr measuring the exit water temp and noticed I was wasting several gallons a minute. No otherservice company or the original installers did that. If you are looking for a company that is more worried about the bottom line than repeat business, call Heating and Cooling in Maple Grove, MN! I cannot recommend this company and would advise others to stay away. I had an issue with a Nest thermostat that had been installed for about 9 months when it stopped receiving power (this company did NOT complete initial install). A tech came out and diagnosed that the UV system hooked up to our furnace was robbing too much power so the thermostat could not properly charge. $300 later, the tech had disconnected a very expensive UV system and said we were ready to go. This did not fix the issue and the thermostat continued to not work. I called the company again asking someone to come out and take a look due to the fact that the initial diagnosis was incorrect. They sent a different tech that spent 30 minutes looking at the system, and in the end told me that my thermostat must have been faulty. He then left and I received another bill for $110! OUTRAGEOUS! Nest sent a replacement thermostat which did the exact same thing. I called Heating and Cooling and was told by shop manager Gina that they pay their techs $100 an hour, and that we as the customers signed off on the initial work of removing the UV system, so we are responsible that the recommended repair didnt work. She was not rude, but was completely unwavering on the fact that their initial service call was inadequate. She never even offered to have the tech hook the UV system back up! After consulting with another company, I was advised to run a common wire to my Nest. I did the wiring myself, but had Heating and Cooling come out to hook up the wiring (10 minutes in and out of my home). They did not bill for this job, however I ended up paying over $400 for a job that ultimately took them 10 minutes to complete. I WILL NOT USE AGAIN, I WILL NOT RECOMMEND. If you are looking for a company that is more worried about the bottom line than repeat business, call Heating and cooling in Maple Grove, MN! If you want real customer service, call anyone else.

Terrible experience from these guys. They came out to my place last year and diagnosed a leak in my AC line. I didnt have the cash to fix last year. I called this summer to have the work completed. They told me a tech would call me before doing any work. The tech came out and performed the test again and didnt fix the problem. I informed the tech that I wanted the problem fixed, not to have them come out and bill me for another test and tell me what I already know. The tech then ordered the parts and completed the repairs. I paid the tech the day the repairs were done. About two weeks later, I received a call from the billing department telling me there was an open invoice from the initial service call. After informing the billing agent that I didnt ask for that work to be done, he said they wouldnt be doing any further work for me in the future. Dont go with these guys. They dont listen, have poor internal communication, and poor customer service. Time to find a new HVAC company.

Service tech was punctual, professionally dressed, well spoken, efficient, and knowledgable.

Customer service was great, technician responded very promptly and was excellent, but H&C two charged $184$ for a $10 part. Very bad value!

We had an infrared tube heater installed by Heating and Cooling Two.Steve set up the install and measured the new heater. Dan Herrman, Dan Loff, and Johnny were the courteous and knowledgeable installers. The entire staff at Heating and Cooling Two were great to work with. When you want it done right by the experts that care, these are your guys!

Heating & Cooling Two is always on time and they do a great job of IDing/explaining the problem and walking you through the different options you have to address it. Ive been a customer for more than five years (two water heaters, furnace repair and preventative maintenance checks) and would never think of calling anyone else.

A little on the spendy side for just a PM on my furnace, but they did great work. Ill use them again.

Short version: they came to install a humidifier this Monday (Jan. 30th, 2017) and my furnace did not work right after their visit. Another guy came today and overcharged by a ridiculous amount. I felt as being treated as an idiot like some other customers treated in the same way based on the reviews I saw. Long version: Two guys came this Monday (Jan. 30th, 2017) to install a new humidifier. Right after their visit, the furnace stopped working right away. A different guy was sent by them today and did some magic then told me they had to replace a pressure switcher for a total of $275.55 (including $110 assessment fee). I asked him to explain why right after the two guys left the furnace stopped working, he told me he could not explain it but still gave me the bill of $275.55. I just checked the price for the switcher at Amazon (HK06WC090), it is about $45. So the trick is: come to install/repair something and right after their visit something else stops working, then another guy comes and overcharges you for the magic. You: seen as an idiot same as many other customers treated in the same way. You can be the next one. Good luck!
