I love Michaels. If I could live here I would. Everything you need for crafts is at this store. Employees are always helpful and the selection is amazing.

I have been a Michaels customer for 20 years. Usually I purchase art supplies and frames. Recently I went to Michaels in Maplewood to purchase Halloween-themed items for our 50th high school reunion. The store was clean and well organized, and I found everything I needed to decorate including 150 pumpkin swag bags. The employee at checkout was friendly and organized. Hope to be a customer for at least another 20 years.

Always a great place to find crafting supplies, picture frames,framing and other useful items. Prices are reasonable too. Clean store with friendly knowledgeable staff.

At checkout the associate was pleasant enough until I refused to give email address to get notifications/deals. Then he acted snotty towards me. I suppose he was upset...maybe he was trying to meet some sort of quota. I do like the store though and found everything I needed right away.

Got five balls of jumbo yarn and the checkout lady told me if I got the wrong color I could always exchange the yarn! Very helpful staff! Great customer service!

Always a great place to stop in at for fun crafts, wonderful floral designs and so many ideas for things to create. I love this place!

Ordered online and picked up curbside. Great overall experience except one of my items was cancelled and I didn’t get notified.

I purchased some items recently at this store and had THE MOST RUDE cashier ever!! I had a 20% off coupon I showed the cashier on my phone and she rudely snapped at me saying that coupon was only for Rewards members and was the only way I could receive the credit. I calmly explained the coupon did not state that information anywhere on the coupon and she just quickly and rudely asked for my email address as if she was somehow going to give me the 20% off coupon via email. Nope! The next thing you know I am a Rewards member now receiving a million emails per day. Which I don’t want or need! She quickly grabbed the receipt and my change and slammed it in my hand all in a matter of 2 minutes - as if there was a big line of people to be checked out! NO! I was the only person in line to be checked out so what is the rush lady? I only shop here once maybe twice a year (now I remember why) and have no need for all these emails, that I now am trying to unsubscribe from. But considering what we, the nation and the world are going thru in these difficult times, you would think a little kindness, a calm voice and a straight explanation isn’t much to ask for. Being that I am a SR HR rep for a major corporation, this store’s manager needs to provide this cashier (working mid day weekday) some serious customer service training. I would be extremely embarrassed by this woman’s behavior to my customers if I were this cashiers manager. You never know what a customer is going thru in their life and if the customer chose my store to shop at, I would definitely ensure my staff goes the extra mile to treat ALL of our customers nicely and more importantly with respect! Will not ever go to this store again!!

Found what I went for. Couldnt find the product at first but a nice employee asked if I was finding everything alright and I let him know what I was looking for. He told me exactly where it was and saved me the trouble of exploring the whole store to find it. The cashier was also friendly.

Today it was 98ﾟ.. I went to Michaels about 7:00 p.m. I just left there right now at 7:15. The young lady at the counter Made me go outside in this weather to get a 20% off coupon even though she had one right by her register.. I went to the car and got my coupon but I let her know when I came back but that was very poor customer service and I hope she didnt treat the elderly people like that. She just said whatever did not apologize for her actions. Anyhow, so when the next customer came he asked her how are you doing and she was like Im good unlike some other people like the lady walking out the door.. Very poor customer service unwilling to help I will never go to this Michaels again.

This store is Wonderful. They only thing I would wish for is scooter for Handicap ♿ Shoppers but that didnt stop me from dropping over $200 on My last trip there using My Walker, lol

They had all the paint I wanted and the pad of canvas sheets! Yay! The canvas sheets are amazing and this is one of the few chains that carry them.

Michaels is a wonderful craft store with a wide variety of crafts for kids and adults. The workers are very helpful there as well.

Went in looking for something to make a Christmas decoration with, but they didnt have a lot out yet.

Very clean and many crafty ideas. A few isles were missing products, including pegs to hang things, so I assume there is a few things moving. Cant wait to stop back in and check it out!

Everytime Im here, there are always employees that are more than helpful to find what I am looking for. This place is clean and well organized as well. Lots of things to look at in here that will give you ideas. This is the closest Michaels to me so this is the one I go to. Great place.

Michaels has all of their Christmas stuff at 70% off now. I scored a big artists loft art set normal $19.99 for $6 and art journals and sketch pads are buy 1get 1 half off. A lot of their craft paints are empty because with covid a lot of people are home painting and crafting, plus their canvases are on sale. They are offering on line shopping with curbside pickup right now if you need to go that route. Middle of the weekday wasnt crowded at all.

I love this place. Lots of fun, inspiring items to chose from, inspiring and creative goodies for everyone.

Great place for custom framing. I didnt know this prior to inquiring for service. I had an already framed print that needed some upgrades. The staff was great and quality ro match.

Let me start by saying, my review is for Michaels shipping, not necessarily the Maplewood store. I ordered items prior to Christmas under the guarantee that they would arrive before Christmas. But Michaels doesnt tell you that they add on 3 days to process the order. So someone got nothing for Christmas. Then I received an email from Michaels that my items shipped UPS, but theres no way to track the package because Michaels didnt send it UPS, it was turned over to the USPS so no tracking available. Then I got email after email ( last on 12/28) that items allegedly shipped dont include 3 items I paid for). What? Called but cant cancel my order as other items in the set shipped. I dont want an incomplete set! Told I have to return it to the store(hello COVID!) or wait for delivery and refuse. Yes, Ive got nothing better than to wait for the post office to deliver to the townhouse group mailboxes. Yep, Michaels is NOT WORTH THE TERRIBLE DELIVERY AND RETURN PROCESS!

The store seems to have a lot of clearance stuff to browse, and Ive been able to use a coupon I found online when I go in. The staff are always friendly and are willing to try and help. I enjoy browsing their vast array of arts and craft selection.

Knowledgeable and friendly customer service reps when I asked for a price check, later when I asked if a particular childrens paint was non-toxic. We read the label together and she saw the description I had missed. Very cheerful atmosphere with reasonable pricing, clean, and organized. Excellent checkout service and I plan to return 💗

This Michaels store on White Bear Ave is clean and well stocked. The cashier was efficient and so personable. Wishing I could remember her name to give her recognition (1/11/20 at 5 pm). Always enjoy shopping at Michaels!

It was very crowded, but that is understandable at Christmas time. The store was well organized and clean. They had everything I needed and so much more. The line was long but they had a smart process to speed up check out. This was my first time here and I will be back!

Great summer sale

Lots of products, seasonal merchandise as well as a large kids items section. I always find what I need here.

Go here when you have a little bit of time to actually look around. Just like any good thrift store or yard sale, the good stuff is a little hard to find. Very organized, yet overly stocked aisles.

One of my favorite locations. Nice and friendly staff! Most seem rather knowledgeable. The store is always clean, well organized, and stocked well. My son was in the car using my phone so I didnt have my coupon on me, the sweet cashier looked it up w my phone number and still gave me the coupon. 8$ savings!! She didnt have to do that, but it was very thoughtful! I also like that this location has a Hobby Lobby, and Joannes within a few min drive. So if they dont have what I need I can run to the competition. I stop in a lot for quick trips or long ones.

I have had several bad experiences at this location and am finally done. I will go to Woodbury & Roseville but stay away from Maplewood!! “No we don’t do that” are their favorite words & I actually watched a rude cashier almost make a customer cry because she berated her for not having a receipt. It went on for almost 15 minutes & then she proceeded to talk about her to the next few customers in line. I would have left but was in a long line & didn’t want to make people move so I could make a quick exit!! I called the store to describe her behavior and yet she continued to be there each time I returned. Obviously this is acceptable to this store. Joanns lets you use multiple coupons and when I brought that up to the cashier and that they used to let you use more than one coupon, she said “that’s why they are filing bankruptcy” . . . What an unprofessional response!!! Think twice about Maplewood Michaels!

Needed to return things that didnt work for my project. Wasnt able to have the money put back on my bank card, which I really needed. But other than that it went well. A quick, easy return.
