Barnes & Noble is a very nice bookstore. The arts too many of them left. We got to wander around and look at the selection, and by what we wanted. The hardest part about shopping at Barnes & Noble is understanding the pricing. Due to all of their random sales, when you get out to the checkout, you end up paying less than you expected. Its a good thing, but its also very hard to figure out whats going on. During the pandemic, The store has the plastic barriers at the checkout and are pretty good and encouraging the wearing of masks. They dont have a lot of plastic bags. There must be a shortage.

Went in looking for some vinyls, found two that I havent been able to find anywhere else!

The Barnes and noble was great but the cafe was not they were out of everything and my drink did not taste good.

Amazing B&N location. Great selection of everything books and collectibles. Crazy cool / friendly / knowledgeable people on staff. A++++++ 10/10 highly recommended!!

My second favorite Barnes and Noble in the state. And one of the only ones I know of here that are two levels. A solid number of all genres of books represented. A really good manga section. Nice and available staff on both levels. If youre a book lover, and enjoy Barnes and Noble anyways, this is one I continually love to visit.

Starbucks inside barns and noble is the worst starbucks ever! We visited the store on Saturday 8/21/21 while shopping. My mother in law ordered 4 drinks and 2 cookies. One drink was completely something we didnt order, another had black things floating at the top and they didnt give us the cookies. I ordered my drink in the decaf version. I always ask if it is for sure decaf when they hand me my drink. I asked a female employee if it was for sure decaf and she replied in a very rude way, it says it is on the cup. I have had Starbucks employees mess up 6 other times giving me regular when its says decaf on the cup and they have all been very apologetic about it. I have a health condition...I cannot have large amounts of caffeine!!! I then told the same female employee that they made my daughter the wrong drink and that we were missing our cookies. She offered no apology and yelled at a male employee instead...still no cookies. Then my mother in law asked her for a straw and was ignored. Then she grabbed one herself and the same female actually yelled at her for it. I then asked for the cookies again...still no cookies. Finally when we got the drink that was previously made wrong I asked a different female for the cookies and she finally gave them to us. They seemed so stressed out and acted like they hated their lives so badly. They werent even busy! Unreal! Worst service I have ever received from any starbucks!!!

Shop here all the time and the cashier always tell me they are bag shortage and out of bags,and even posted sign that stated bring your own bag. This is all a lie this time I was behind another customer and getting ready to check out, unfortunately a cashier gave that customer a bag and then I was decline of a bag from another cashier. I then told that cashier that another cashier gave that customer a bag. Why did you just lie? All of this was a lie for the last 3 months. Come on i spend more then 50 dollar worth of goods every week. This will be reporting to corporate.

Ive always loved Barnes & Noble! They have so much to choose from, I literally browse all of the bookshelves when Im there!

Has a good selection of main stream books. i had a hard time finding much on religion that wasnt christianity. perhaps i just couldnt find them but i was looking.

Extremely poor check out customer service from Sydney. He will be extremely rude to you if you forget to tell him you have a membership. Ive actively have been going to Barnes and Noble for 20 yrs and every cashier has asked me if I had a membership. He had a terrible attitude about it and did it to the person in front of me as well. I hope management will do something about him. Im never coming back to this Barnes and Noble.

There are no motorized vehicles anywhere in that mall for the Handicap or disabled to use.. Im pretty sure this is a direct violation of OSHA safety standards.

It lives up to my expectations, i have a Barnes and nobles membership now because I enjoy it so much

Customer service was great! An employee did an awesome job helping us find a certain book for our daughter. She was very patient, kind, and helpful. The bookstore was clean and organized nicely. Pricing is better at Barnes and noble than at Target where we went to and found the same book, but for double the price. Bought a book for our daughter and one for our son. Would recommend this store inside Maplewood mall. They also have kpop dolls, books, and magazines if you or anyone you know like kpop.

Ordered and payed for a book online but when I got to the store they could not find it. Whats the point of having this system if it doesnt work?

Bookstore was fine. Ordered some coffee & the manager from the cafe was rude & argued my order to me when she missed a drink. Went to upper management and they didn’t want to hear what I said about poor customer service on behalf of their cafe manager. Not a pleasant experience.

I can always find the book that I am looking for. The sales people are very helpful if I cant find something.

Things were very hard to find spread out and set up completely different from my store and took forever to find someone to help

Love the graphic novel section! They helped me get closer to having a complete collection of Walking Dead comic compendiums!

Its the best part of the Maplewood mall. Layout is better than most Barnes and noble stores.

I have always enjoyed bookstores. Less of a selecton than they had before ebooks became commonplace.

Very helpful B&N staff. They helped find parts 2, 3, of Red Queen eventhough out on the designated spot on the shelf. Starbucks in-house was just a tiny bit weird

Ok so I love books and this is always my favorite place to shop.

When you want a refund, this book 📖 store will either give you in-store credit or cash only. They will not put funds back into your debit or credit card.

I only stopped at Starbucks to get a coffee but the Starbucks staff wasnt too friendly kind of monotone and not very happy.

B&N is my favorite printed materials retailer. Amazon sometimes beats their prices for specific titles, which I offset with a $25 annual membership offering 10% discount. I can spend literally hours browsing through books covering a seemingly endless variety of subjects. Their no pressure sales staff is always friendly and helpful.

Employees are very helpful, and friendly. Its pretty easy to find what you are looking for.

Purchased a book here and stopped at the Starbucks inside to get a refreshment. Hadnt been here previously so asked cashier about options for cold drinks. Told him I was looking for a blended peach or strawberry smoothie-type drink. He said yeah, yeah, that would be one of the Refresher drinks and they came in mango. Turns out Grande at Starbucks means medium not large and the drink I got was not mango and was not blended but on the rocks. No wonder the server could not make eye contact.

Very clean and inviting. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Many associates working. Only one running a register. Pushed away from one because he was on call. Talking with another associate, could have handed off the call and continued to run the register. Almost put the book and left.

Great place except for 2 things. Cannot sit anymore, (not their fault-covid) and they changed things around. I am sure that Ill get used to it just before they change again.

We love this location, they have a nice selection, and a kids area. They have games, and toys that some of the stores dont carry as well. When were done book shopping, we usually go to the Mall for a snack or lunch!

Amazing place, amazing collections. I specifically only go there for the manga section which has a lot of the popular titles like Black Clover and Magus Bride. The workers will see you come in and check in with you to see if youre finding everything you need, which I think is really appealing.

The staff were respectful and considerate, the selection of books is amazing, and the membership is worth having

This store seems nice enough. Its a big two story location. Bathrooms are clean, decent seating in the cafe however there are not enough outlets, but its a decent place to work/study. Good selection of snacks and drinks in the cafe.When I walked in a guy asked me how he could provide me with exceptional customer service, which was pretty corny and I hope they dont make people ask that.A little irritated because I was one of three people sitting in the cafe working and the manager sat a guy down right next to me to conduct and interview. Super distracting.All in all, nice store, decent selection, good cafe, clean bathrooms. Will be back.

We had a great experience an employee went to the back to find me a stuffed toy that I had seen that they had took down for the Holidays.

Did not pull up my membership and staff was not pleasant. Layout is not welcoming. Went to Rosedale B&N right after and everything as great! Just a heads up for future reviewers.

I w as looking for the used book area but apparently only Har Mar has that.
