Not the worst Walmart in the saint Louis area. But don’t get your expectations too high either. A little bit more variety but the check outs lines are always long. And finding a helpful employee is scarce. You’ll be better off using the app

Overall it was good. The store wasnt as disorganized and the shelves werent as empty as the last time I was there. They seem to be doing a better job stocking the shelves and the associates I spoke to were very helpful and courteous. Hopefully this trend will continue going forward.

Worst store anyone can ever go to. Just visited there clearance section . They had tons of paint on clearance but when you go to buy it they wont sell it to you. You will be humiliated at the counter. When I asked one of the worker if you keep anything in clearance section it is suppose to have a price tag, she said its not on clearance. They dont know what is going in the store.

The set up was a little awkward..Much better and much more items than the New Jersey locations Ive visited.The workers need to be trained, NOT to misdirect customers, when asked for a product and they dont know the exact location of the product.Its okay to say, Im not sure.

Pretty decent store for a Walmart. Sadly lots of empty spots on the shelves lately. They only have 2 regular checkouts and the rest are self check outs. Employees are good at blocking aisles with the carts for shopping and stocking and not willing to movie

This was the most insane craziest Walmart I have ever been in. It was very packed, too many self-checkouts, and very little clothing.We had hope to find some more clothing coming from the south and to our surprise there wasnt much.People were rude and honestly we could not wait to get out. I know it sounds typical for Walmart however this was the worst Ive ever been in.

Absolutely love/hate relationship with Walmart. Almost anything you can think of is stocked, prices are good, but a lot of stuff is really bad quality. I go when I am in need of something that may only be used a few times and is cheap... If I need something that lasts, I go elsewhere. But the store does not pretend to be anything it is not.

Maplewood is a Beautiful place to live and this wal-mart is big than the place need,but There are too many empty shelves and too much disorder in the merchandise today, clothes of all tangled brands mixed and products that are not replaced. The vegetables and fruits are good but very little variety. There is a lack of cleanliness, order and warm food near the Pay Beds. they need to improve and a lot !!

My neighbor and I went and checked out on fone. The attendant was so helpful. Nice time

The only reason I give it 4 stars and I rarely shop at this location is because of the customers it draws. Its just a little too much for me.

Just like all Walmarts if they have no customer service because they dont pay their employees and nuff for them to do anything more than the bare minimum. Always crowded and understaffed.

The lady working in the fabric department huffed at me for saying excuse me to her while she stood in the middle of the isle. There were four people working in the pharmacy .. I was the only customer.. I stood for a full three minutes and no one acknowledged me. The pharmacists were working but the techs were having what appeared to be a casual conversation with each other. There were boxes of merchandise all over the store taking up space in the isles and causing navigating to be more congested. I am very disappointed that this is my closest location and I will be actually driving farther away to find a better one.

So this place is where you can find each and every thing related to your daily life, from stationery to party to cosmetics to medicine to blah blah (better you visit once) ... if you dont wanna waste your time and save your energy 😉 then this the best place for you . Best part is you get things in your budget!

We found everything we needed ( thank god) but the visit to this store today was uncomfortable. The merchandise on the shelves were broken and opened, alot people sneaking in and out of the aisle, it was a quiet and weird day.

Lately this walmart is not stocked and its cleanliness is dropping. This might be due to less staff and food shortages beyond their control due to the pandemic. You might not be able to find everything on your list these days.

They had a packed store with only 2 registers open and the people on those worked slower than humanly possible the management didnt open another lane just stood there watching and oh lets no forget there was a lot of ppl with no mask I was so freaked out I could barley shop.Even with the shot wear your mask

Never enough checkers, poorly stocked. I have even had to go to parking lot and retrieve a cart. Fruit and vegetables suck, poor quality of meat. Do your self a favor and go elsewhere.

Showed up at 6:05am on a Saturday doors still closed even though they opened at 6am got inside asked for help to get a pair of headphones waited 10 mins no help went and found another person asked waited another 5 mins no help. Had to walk out or I would have been late to work

Im a retired woman on walker there were no riding carts had to wait an hour, then there was 1 young lady working the door that was loud and just rude when we tried to get the cart sitting in the corner instead of saying the cart needed to be charged she said it didnt work even though it said fully charged.

The store was jam pack, but this is the week end so i went with the flow. The long lines AN the PEOPLE were a little restless. Pick your choosing an get out. Wow there is a self check out open ok pop in this line so I can get out a little faster. Well not to bad, look quick an fast yah, finish. Many people, great choices an savings at Walmart.

Wanted to grab some alcohol for a family party. All the bottles of booze were locked up and I couldnt find anyone nearby with a key. Pretty much just left after that and went to Sams Club.

Basically the everything store. On any given day you can find lots of people in the store, its especially great if you need something after hours because the one at Kenrick closes at midnight, well most if Im not mistaken.Looking for fruit and veggies? Theres a frozen or fresh option. Their shelves will generally cater to either end of the spectrum for most tastes with varieties for underwear, toiletries, household goods, meat, childrens toys, soda, fresh fruit juice amongst others

I love the store itself. But there are never enough cashiers. Most of the time what Im looking for is not on the shelves. The wait time to be checked out is outrageous. You cant buy ice cream. Because by the time its your turn in line its melted. The prices on cloths are always wrong. And, they tell you someone must have put it there on a rack full of clearance item that all look the same. It use to be the best Walmart in town I had my meds transferred just to have another opportunity to visit.

This is by far the worst Walmart ever!!Shelves are always empty or close to it and the isles are usually jam packed with boxes containing all the items that are missing from the shelves. Its dirty and the self check out areas are always total chaos because it could be Friday night 5:30 (busy time) and the only have one lane open to check people out even though there are tons if employees walking around doing nothing when they could be checking people out

They have very few employees. I was waiting near a locked cage waiting for an employee to open it up for no joke 43 mins. To end up going to the front desk to remind them I was waiting. But noone was there either. Never got my product and left empty handed. Besides lack of employees. The people/costumers that go to this Wal-Mart are complete trash everyone is rude /super entitled. Not like NY rude. Its hard to explain.

Went to the Maplewood store. This store is much nicer than Bridgeton which is closer to home. They know how to get the products on the shelf, not left in boxes blocking the cross isles. Much better selection too.

Unfriendly workers have no respect for the customer most of the young Welkers have an attitude. The Walmart st-charles Rock Road Bridgeton. Dont have go karts. Disabled needs them. 3 running the rest is broken. Kids riding through the store disabled peoples. We disabled waiting for 1 no security guard to supervise the store. Very poor supervisor in store. The jam-packed three lights go through the line self service line is Pact. Too much work not enough employees. I was in line 30 minutes. Very slow workers. 12 lines to go through only three open. On a busy weekend. West Florissant Walmart the same way. Need to upgrade your workers plus your supervisor South County the same Saint Peter the same. Poor help. Sincerely to Walmart owners

Poor excuse for a store. About 1/8 of the food shelves were bare. The alarm from the subway was going off the whole time I was in the store. Apparently someone walked out the subway emergency exit, and either no one knew how to turn it off or no one cared. The self checkout lanes had green lights on above, like they were in service, but they weren’t functioning. Instead of turning the lights off, the Walmart employees just put baskets over the scanners. It seems not a single employee in the store is technologically savvy enough to operate basic electronic equipment. Bunch of simpletons sagging around like there’s no purpose. Find a place that hires competent employees, that take pride in their work. This store isn’t it. Do yourself a favor and find better store. It’s worth the extra drive.

I go to this Walmart instead of the one on North Lindbergh due to better service and no long check out lines!

This has to be the worst Walmart in this area. Visited the location on Saturday....the store was bananas. I understand the back to school crowd but the shelves were empty. The aisles were a mess, card reader was not working and the whole entire experience was terrible. The one star is because I can not give it a zero. I thought I would run in and get some things because I need to go to Sams.....next time I will drive to a better Walmart...or find items at a different store all together.

Im new to this area, from STL but new to THIS location. Unfortunately almost every single experience Ive had has been TERRIBLE. Most recent, the pharmacy, their customer service over the phone is AWFUL! I was left on hold for 4+ minutes to speak to the manager & then hung up on. I called back and got a person on the phone and halfway through my conversation they hung up on me. I can go about the appearance, the face to face customer service but its pointless & Im not going back so its irrelevant. Consider yourself warned. 👎👎👎

I only come here in times of need during early hours or hours where the lines are not dense. I never expect to be assisted or greeted here. Simple transactions and see you later. This Walmart sure beats the one on West Florissant. The return I had was pretty simple and easy. I wasn’t hassled and asked a trillion questions. If you’re looking for a cheap printer, don’t come here.

I try not to shop here any more because pricing is deceptive. Every time I get to the self-check, there are items that were marked one price on the shelf tag, and then ring up higher at the register. They know that after waiting in the long lines, few people will ask for a price check, so they get away with it.

St. Louis and the towns around it are struggling. You have so many people. Im from oklahoma and use to work at walmart and can tell you I understand the struggles. In the past month I have tried to get a cake decorated 2 times both times at I was told they were at lunch and couldnt order a cake and that was at 1pm & 4pm, that was the same day. I went in to get my tire fixed another day and was told that it was by appointment only and would not be the next day which sucked when you have flat and no cars in the automotive areA being worked on. There stock was very limited. As a very populated store you can tell the associates are over worked, under staffed, which is leading to lack of care.

Best selection Ive seen so far, better that New Mexico and Colorado.

Better selection of pretty much ALL items vs. other Walmarts near that area. Clean, fast and friendly & helpful staff.

Would be great if they actually respected their staff enough to properly staff their store and not only have one person at customer service while people are almost down the the subway in line, manager giving no f***s and not helping clearly overwhelmed employee.

Love Walmart for its one-stop-shop ability. If I have a complaint its that they dont always have enough checkers to accommodate the patrons checking out.

This is definitely not my favorite WalMart. I really like that they have a fabric center but, the lines at checkout are so incredibly long, its ridiculous. The self checkout on both ends of the store didnt take cash so in order to use cash, you had to go to an actual person. Out of maybe 20 checkout lanes, they only had two open!!! The lines for those two cashiers were so incredibly long but I saw that there were at least seven or eight Walmart employees laughing and joking and standing around in groups talking when they should have gotten on a register to relieve the lines.

This store is unfortunately the closest one to my house. They NEVER have anything on the shelves, always out of everything, extremely RUDE employees that act like your bothering them when asking a question..so if you wanna go shopping and not get what you needed or wanted, want to get eye rolled by the employees and feel as though you just wasted your precious time....then go here....i highly DONT suggest this store...it sucks and so do MOST of the employees with the exception of a few!!

Needed a pack of 8.5 x 14 legal copy paper for home office work and I found it here. One ream under $7.00 Awesome!!

I’ve been to Walmarts all over the country and this one was the best I’ve ever been to. I was immediately impressed by how tidy and clean everything was. The staff was very friendly and nice. Everything was easy to find and well laid out. The floors were not crazy cracked and old like others I’ve been to. The lines were fast. Never had a wow experience at a Walmart before. Hats off, keep up the great work! Thank you for the pleasant experience.

Terrible. The line is halfway down the store at 10pm. Guess they let all the checkers go home so only self checkout is open.

A very nice, clean Walmart. It has a great selection and is well stocked. Everyone is kind and helpful. Sometimes the lines at the checkout get long, but that seems to be pretty typical for Walmart. I wish the employees handling the pickup service had a little more attention to detail and communicated better.Edit: my most recent pick up order experience involved employees poorly loading my items and a case of bottled water completely smashed my take-and-bake pizza.
