This review is long overdue. Our family moved into an 80+yr old home in NJ 2 years ago and we have worked with the Wooley team on numerous projects during that time. It all started with a visit from Art to do some maintenance on our original HVAC (which was aging and a bit neglected by the previous owners). Art got our system working again but it was clear that due to age and neglect that we would be facing repetitive repairs or in need of a new system in the coming year. I met with Kevin (Wooleys Svc manager) and he performed a manual J on our home and provided us with a few different options at various price points which would make our home more comfortable, reliable, and energy efficient. Kevin even made some excellent recommendations pre-covid to improve the air quality in our home and help with our familys allergies and asthma through the use of a Reme Halo and Aprilaire Merv 416 filter (which have have made a noticeable difference). As first time home owners my wife and I met with a few other reputable installers in our area but ultimately it was our familys experience with Kevin and Art and their thorough explanations of the issues that we were facing that made us most comfortable choosing Wooley for the installation and maintenance of an entire new HVAC system in our home. After our installation we chose Wooley for several other jobs, including 2 new battery back up sump pump systems, a new hot water heater, a whole house water filtration system and numerous duct repairs and general plumbing issues.Over the last 2 years we have worked with Art, Ed, Kevin, Joe, Nick and several other members of the Wooley team and on all occasions it has been a great experience (even if our 80 year old home has often thrown us/them curveballs and added challenges to the projects along the way). The Wooley team has always pulled together and figured out a way to get the jobs done right and they have always been fair, transparent, and honest in all of our dealings.Our most recent experience is a testament to Wooleys commitment to their customers. About 3 weeks ago (Mid July) our 18 month old AC condenser stopped working. Art worked through a blistering hot day to diagnose the problem (a failed compressor). Once it became clear that due to supply chain challenges, the part would be unavailable for several weeks, Kevin was quick to send over 2 portable air conditioners to help our family to deal with the heat as we waited. Kevin was transparent and diligent about keeping me posted as to when the replacement part might arrive. As soon as we had a window of a few days when the part would arrive (which coincided with a 3 day heat wave of 97-99 degrees), Ed, Joe, and Nick were at our home working to prepare everything ahead of time for the arrival and installation of this part. All of this was being done as the weather remained in the high 90 degree area. The team got the part in and was quick to help us get our home cool again.I wish I could provide more than 5 stars, the Wooley team is truly dedicated to their customers and our most recent experience has solidified our already high opinion of them.

From the first visit, we received professional and quality service. The team treated our home with care and even made repairs outside of the scope of work. Looking back at the tickets of the last several years, their technician Craig has almost always been the one servicing my account. Craig does a great job--calls ahead to make sure its a good time to visit--and is efficient and always helpful in his recommendations. Hes a nice guy, too. We see each other once a year and always start by catching up on how our families are doing.

Our water heater was not working, we called at 8am and a Service Technician came in 2hours.Ed was professional and explained the issue (loose wires) and fixed right away. .

Our boiler wasnt turning on and I was 99% sure it was an electrical issue. A few companies came and couldnt diagnose the exact problem... some even tried saying that wed need to completely rewire our boiler to our circuit breaker box. We were getting quotes as high as $800. Ed P. from Woolley came and was able to figure out the issue and have it fixed within 30 minutes. He was also extremely nice! Ill be using Woolley for my boiler maintenance moving forward!

Ive used Woolley for plumbing repairs before, and this year Art D was the tech who came to perform our annual gas boiler inspection and he did a fantastic job. He explained the process throughout and the reasoning for each of his steps, cleaned the site afterward and left it looking better than it did when he arrived. He was courteous, professional and friendly and adhered to all of the COVID-19 safety protocols like social distancing and wearing a mask. Our hot water boiler blew at a couple nights ago. We lost heat and hot water. Ed, Dave, and Joe were here the very next morning, told us what happened and were off to the races. They were on time everyday, with no issues, and worked fast to get us heat and hot water. There work was second to none, done right and looking good. They even did a little extra work changing out a washer in our sink and helping with our steam boiler. when they were done they swept out every room they were in, not just were a little mess was, the whole room. My furnace died Christmas Eve morning. I called Woolley and within 30 minutes they were at my house removing the old furnace and dropping off the new one. They were able to complete the job the day after Christmas. Courteous and professional. Would recommend to anyone.

David and Donny arrived on time and determined that the reason for the water heater failure was the high water pressure sent to the heater. David determined that the pressure regulator was defective and replaced it. He then replaced the water heater and related equipment to bring the installation up to code. Excellent Job. They cleaned up and left the house just like they found it.

Home office scheduled a 1 hour time window and the technician, Ed P, telephoned in advance of the appointment to confirm his arrival time which was exact. Ed immediately started work, was efficient, explained the work performed, and provided information on items to monitor. Very pleased with the work performed and communication.

I brought in Woolley after my previous service company failed to identify the cause of my short-cycling steam boiler for two seasons, and I was starting a third season with the burner only coming on for 5 seconds at a time before cutting out. It took quite a lot of troubleshooting to track down a pair of likely culprits, but Art let me know what he was working on all along the way. I appreciate that they stuck with it, in spite of the time it took them, and they gave me back a boiler that performed efficiently for the first time in 2-3 years.

I woke up to a problem with my furnace/leaking pipes. I called Woolley Home and while their schedule was booked, they worked to have their service technician (Ed) drive out to assist me. Upon arrival, Ed inspected and diagnosed the problem, gave me an estimate on the spot and within 2 hours was able to resolve the issue. Excellent service. And the price was as quoted.
