Yum. And only $5.50. Excellent value.We will be back.

I love this place. First time here. First time in the Keys. Won’t be my last time. I have The New Jersey Panini and it was amazing. Cooked perfectly. Friendly staff. Perfect weather on a sunny June afternoon.

Stopped in on our way to Miami from Key West. My wife & I both agreed we would be there all the time if we lived in the area! Lol the staff was super nice and the bagels and danish were really good. Highly recommend :)

This place is amazing! Definitely add this to your “places to eat”. You will not be disappointed, I assure you. We were very impressed with the quality of food and friendly service. We had numerous different bagel sandwiches and paninis. So thankful we found this little gem!

Came here for breakfast on our way back from the Keys. We got two everything bagels & an order of loaded hash browns. Bagels were delicious & the perfect chewy texture. Hash browns were good, a little lacking in seasoning. This place was busy & the staff worked quickly to take & fulfill orders.

Great place for a quick breakfast or lunch if you are in Marathon. The bagels are fresh and there are a number of flavors. There are also a number of bagel sandwiches, but you can also get conventional sandwiches or wraps. Its a small store with limited indoor and outdoor seating and its hidden on the side of the strip mall its located it somewhat behind ther gas station. Decent amount of parking also. Will go back when back in the area!

We love Marathon bagel!!! As locals of Tavernier who are originally from NY it is a MUST STOP for us on any trip south! Or even just a random morning craving it’s a fun quick little drive. Always great customer service and great bagels! Can’t wait to go back again and again! Thank you for all you do!

The everything bagel with chive cream cheese was on point so good! The customer service was a little lacking the cashier was not friendly but I still recommend this place for the great bagels.

My bagel was very good. Sausage egg and bacon. One of the others with us said the cream cheese was kinda plan.

Their bagel sandwich was incredibly delicious, one of the best I’ve ever had. I got the bacon egg and cheese on asiago. When we got there it was busy but staff was efficient and we got our food pretty quickly all things considered. Would definitely recommend this place.

I cannot comment on the bagels but the orange cranberry and the banana nut muffins were absolutely delicious!! The iced tea was fresh brewed and fantastic too. We got there about 10:00 on a Saturday and the place was packed, but the staff was incredibly fast and efficient…and Friendly!! Highly recommend! Very limited seating..we ate in the car.

Couldve been better. Something like a three, really a two from me for the unpleasant customer service and rancid salsa they give us in the Mexican bowl. And without it, it was plain as ....Probably should have went with a bagel, looks like thats what theyre good at.

Very busy but well worth the wait The orange cranberry muffin was delicious I wish I had ordered more. Fresh brewed tea and any bagel flavor you want. We will BE back. Very friendly staff even with a line out the door they were happy to help you.

The employees and staff were rude and unfriendly. Limited options for food choices and almost no room for indoor dining only 1 small table and if you eat outside at the other 2 tables you will get swarmed with flies on your food because they have potted plants next to the tables and people throw trash in them because there is no trash can to use. The bagels had no flavor and our bagels were not toasted nearly long enough because they came out cold and too soft and they put way too much cream cheese like a whole package of it on 1 bagel. Save yourself a trip here and go to the dunkin donuts right down the street

Really top notch, tasty bagels! Their bacon is thick (not the thin greasy stuff at other restaurants). We had several bagel sandwiches and were not disappointed. Prices are reasonable. We will return every day for breakfast while we are here. Stop reading this review and just go there!

The food was very good. However, the service was inadequate. We ordered three bagels and waited for over an hour. The orders were all mixed up and people who came in after us were getting their meals while we were still waiting. It was very frustrating wasting an entire morning on our jam-packed vacation. If you come on a Sunday morning, leave a good hour to wait for breakfast.

As someone who works in the service industry it’s refreshing to see someone who stands up for their product and employees.Let me Address Someone of the Negative Reviews;-Friendliness of Staff. Employees at the register aren’t your show girls, get over yourself. Maybe you should put a smile on your face first and ask them how they are.-Price. Starbucks charged me $6 here for my normal drink on the islands. At home it’s $4. They don’t have large shipping warehouses on the islands. You pay to ship here. Don’t be cheap, and if you are cheap and cannot fathom to pay $6 for a sandwiches then go to the grocery store and make breakfast/coffee yourself.-Owner. It’s one thing if you don’t like the food, it’s another thing to leave a bad review because you don’t like the owners “responses.” He’s protecting his staff and his small business.The breakfast sandwiches were great, the man I believed to be the owner was very friendly inside the store making small talk with people about their orders while he worked - the employees took my order and tried to get me in/out.Have a fair amount of options for what you can eat, breakfast sandwiches, breakfast bowls, and bakery items. Ordered 3 breakfast sandwhiches and 3 coffees. My family loved them. I had the Asiago bagel personally and loved it.I thought the bagels were great, establishment was lovely.

Real NY bagels in paradise!! The owners and staff are fantastic & work their buns off every day!! Fresh bagels, tons of fresh flavored spreads(also hummus and chicken or tuna salads!) breakfast and lunch sandwiches, coffee, pastries and more... LOVE this place!!

Reading the owners responses on some of these posts blasting people made me question if I even wanted to give this place a shot just FYI owner, although I’ve read you’re not worried about lack of business lol. Bagel was alright, I ordered a toasted garlic with egg and cheese. Garlic had burnt from the toaster on the edges of the bagel and burnt garlic doesn’t taste good no matter where it’s from. Otherwise seemed like a pretty standard bagel sandwich, a bit overpriced at 5 bucks after tax. If you’re going to try this place I’d recommend not doing what I did and instead try something more unique like their Cinnamon Toast Crunch bagel with cinnamon bun cream cheese.

Excellent bagels and bagel sandwiches. I rank them higher than some NJ places!! Will be back when I return to Keys

This place is INSANE. I don’t know how they keep up because every time I’m in there, the line is out the freaking door. The girls that are usually at the counter really know how to make you feel welcome and the back just pumps out food. I hardly ever wait, which is awesome. Awesome staff, amazing food, 10/10!

Went here for breakfast this morning with my husband, waited 10 minutes to get the bagel and breakfast bowl we ordered, got in the car to head to an appointment and open the breakfast bowl to find it’s not even remotely what I ordered. I’m a vegetarian and I ordered a bowl with vegetables, instead I received one covered with sausage and onions. Extremely displeased by this service.

Get there early because they are popular and run out of bagels. Highly recommend the everything club- eggs, bacon, spinach, avocado, and bacon scallion cream cheese. SO GOOD

Staff unbelievably rude! Which the owner allows and does not care about (as you can see from her nasty responses). Maybe customer service isn’t their thing. Seeing as this business doesn’t carry necessities and you can get bagels anywhere you would think customer service would be important for a small business. Guess that’s to much to ask for in 2021

Great breakfast or lunch option if vacationing in the Florida Keys and driving through! Had a Taylor pork roll, egg bagel sandwich (I believe it was the #4) absolutely delicious! Staff was super nice as well!

Small deli-style look and feel, they do a lot with the small space they have.FOODOrdered plain bagel with Honey-Walnut cream cheese. The bagel was toasted well, and the Honey Walnut spread had a nice touch with the honey drizzle on top for added flavor and texture. For a bagel location, they have a surprisingly small assortment if bagels, although may be due to limited customer volume (eg. vs Panera).Also orded the Shipwrecked special with sausage and hashbrowns baked into pancake-style eggs, two slices of american cheese on top. A very basic, no frills semi-omlete, not flavorful yet filling.Dide note- coffee was surprisingly good.Pros+Plenty of breakfast/lunch options+Dish was filling+Very clean inside and outsideCons-Hidden location, almost missed it-Lack flavor beyond main ingredients

One of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had since moving to marathon. Woman at the register was rude and in a terrible mood. They were out of bagels and she acted like we were dumb for asking if they had any more. Awful customer service and the food was just meh. Hard pass on coming back.

Delicious!I am not normally a bagel person but these were excellent. They have a good variety of bagels and other food too like wraps. I have been impressed by everything I tried.The service was friendly but a little slow (possibly because of COVID) restrictions.

Great Bagels! Had an amazing breakfast sandwich bagel! Unique and delicious!However, dont go within 50 feet of the place without your government muzzle! The cashier refused to take our order until we had covered our noses with our masks!! Thats right, my wife and I dutifully put our masks on as we entered and did not cover our noses, as anyone who likes to breathe does. We were instantly snapped at by the cashier who refused to take our order until the masks were raised to eye level. Very disappointing!

Same day update (4*): Appreciate the response from the owner. Even though we didnt get to enjoy the bagels as intended, its great to know that they care and take responsibility. Id say they earned another star.Earlier today (3*): Bagels were ok. We didnt get the cream cheese that we ordered. We felt kind of rushed out as a line started to form behind us. The big muscular gentleman respectfully asked us to wait outside and hed bring our order to us. And he did! But we didnt realize that the cream cheese was missing until we got home. I guess you could say that we are partially at fault for not checking the contents before leaving, but then again, you shouldnt have to.Would really like to say we enjoyed the bagels, but without their homemade cream cheese, they tasted like slightly better than store bought. We got the cinnamon toast crunch bagels that had some flavor.

This place was so delicious! I had an everything bagel with cream cheese, nova lox, tomato, red onions and capers *chef’s kiss* and my bf had the American breakfast bowl which he enjoyed as well. We will be back soon!

Wonderful bagels! Lots of varieties.

After seeing the 4+ stars, I figured it was a good bet to come for breakfast. Wrong. The Asiago bagel was fine, but the bacon on my breakfast sandwich was totally inedible since what was was not burnt was fat while the bacon meat was, no exaggeration, completely charred black. My wife also got a similar breakfast sandwich with bacon and hers, too, was the same. We threw the “bacon” out and vowed never to return. Better to go hungry than waste $$ at this place.

Toasted blueberry bagel, was so perfect. Came here with company and had some pretty entertaining conversation about pork roll. 😂 Stole a bite of my husbands toasted everything bagel with cream cheese and lox. Also perfect. It was easy to see why they were steadily busy.

Awesome breakfast spot!! My fiancé and I stopped at this bagel shop to pick up some breakfast before we left and boy I’m glad we stopped there rather than just Dunkin. The line was long (as expected due to Memorial Day weekend) but we got through the line pretty quickly! The service was impeccable and efficient! We got two egg bowls, a muffin and an iced coffee. My fiancé chowed down the bowl so fast and the muffin was super moist! This will be our new favorite spot to visit in the keys :) you should only be worried about the long line, but they’re busy for a reason! They’re super good and it’s worth the wait!

Well, we went at 1:00 pm, an hour before closing, and they were completely out of bagels. I mean I guess that is a good thing and says they sell out but for someone that was trying it out for the first time, disappointing to find they didn’t have any bagels and they are called the bagel co. I may try it again but there are a lot of places to eat here in the keys so maybe not. Guess I have to call and ask if they have any bagels before going. Even still, will there even be an ample supply. Hmmmm. Will update when/if I actually get a chance to try them out.Update...we went back and got bagels. I got the cranberry orange muffin which was absolutely delicious and moist. Mother and in laws both ordered bagels to go. Neither were impressed. But I’m not deterred, think I may try a breakfast sandwich and see how that is next.

Came all the way down to Marathon from Massachusetts, decided to stop here for breakfast. We had the western style bagel and the fried bologna on sesame. On par with the rest of reviews, this lovely shop has some of the best bagels I’ve ever had. Also, the iced coffee was about a million times better than any dunkins. Heads up, no straws BUT I totally understand because straws are the devil for the environment. Keep it up guys, I can tell you really are passionate and love what you do.

Stop here for breakfast on our way to Key West, and really enjoyed our Bagel sandwiches. The coffee is also good and the staff is nice. Great Value and great taste. Will definitely visit again the next time we go down to the Keys.

Service was a little surly, food was edible but in no way exceptional, took a little while for something that tastes pre-made, and while waiting they give you a playing card instead of a number...would have been cute, but the cards were super gross, sticky, greasy, and not something I wanted to hold on to for 15 min when everyone is trying to be so careful with covid and they obviously were not clean.

Fantastic small, local shop to stop in for a quick breakfast to go. We were on our way back from Key West and stopped here and were not disappointed. Prices were fair and they had a few basic coffee drinks available. This location is a bit tucked back, but Google Maps took us an odd way that had us make a u-turn further down than necessary. There coffee hut across the street that they are friendly with.

We were just there this morning and it was actually my husband who was inside. He said that he just did not feel welcome... that the general atmosphere was one of them doing the favor for you... brusque. They didn’t want to slice bagels, they didn’t bag the everything bagels separate from the sweet bagels, and they were just lacking any sense that the folks in there were the customers.

Bagel sandwiches were very good if a bit pricey, and they dont tell you in advance about upcharges like an extra $3 for switching out bacon for pork belly...which is apparently delicious. When they offer it they should tell you at least that its an additional charge rather than just letting you think its a simple swap. The coffee is average. The muffins are fresh and the blueberry muffins are great! My husband ordered an Italian sub and said it was awesome! Limited seating both inside and out but great for take out.
