Everything up to the moment getting the quote was great, including the service technician. However, the quote for 4 hours of labor was almost $1600.00, and it did not include parts - my parts are under warranty by the manufacturer. I ended up having to pay a $99.00 service call although no service was provided. Who charges $400.00 / hour??? I will never call them again, and I dont recommend anyone to call unless they want to donate $99.00 to get a ripoff quote.

Justin serviced our air conditioner today. Ellington installed it a year ago and it was scheduled to be serviced under our No Worries contract. Justin did an outstanding job, he followed all the covid19 protocols to the letter, he used a drop cloth for all his tools and equipment, he explained everything he was doing without being asked, definitely a pride in workmanship technician. Based on the technicians that installed and have serviced our AC we are very happy that we chose Ellington, from the front office to the field were 100% pleased. Regarding the No Worries contract, it was definitely worth it, we needed a part replaced last July and with the covid slow downs it was going to take a week. The AC couldnt quite keep up because of the faulty part so Jeff (the other tech) brought it in and installed two portable units the same day to keep us properly air conditioned until the part arrived, no charge because it was covered. No buyers remorse here.

Sales staff, crew and management are professional, courteous and do high quality work. Showed up on time, delivered exactly what I paid for and cleaned up after themselves. Great experience. Highly recommend.

Justin was thorough and diagnosed the problem. We were quoted over $1,300 to replace the fan motor. The next day the unit was repaired by another local a/c company for less than $500! This quote was predatory. Our a/c is now fixed thanks to the competition.

Ellington Air tech Jeff worked on my A/C unit. Jeff did an excellent job. He cleaned the drain line and reattached an electrical hose. Jeff recommended replacing the capacitor and explained the different pricing options to do the job. Their prices are reasonable. Ellington AC services were great. They answered the phone on Sunday and gave me their first available appointment for Monday. Jeff arrived early after calling to make sure we were home. He was very polite and knowledgeable and he did a great job getting our air back on quickly. I will definitely use them in the future and recommend them to everyone.

Yesterday Jeffrey from Ellington Air Conditioning & Heat performed our HVAC annual inspection for the second year. He is polite, knowledgeable, professional, and punctual. After his inspection he takes the time to thoroughly explain what work he performed on the unit and why. Our system is a bit older and we knew it would some repairs. Jeffrey provided us with a written estimate for different levels of repair ranging from like new plus to bare minimum along with the cost involved. Weve been very pleased with Ellingtons service.

Working with Ellington and having them install a new air conditioning system at my house after Hurricane Irma on LITTLE TORCH KEY was a pleasure. From working with John to the whole team of installers I am delighted with all aspects of my interactions. They were prompt and consistent and always communicated with both my wife and myself. Later with the estimator Bill and finally with the installation team of Jordon and Travis and others led by Steve. The equipment is great. The installation was thorough, clean, and timely. We have dealt with several Air Conditioning companies in the past, which is what led us to find Ellington. We used them for our AC several months ago, when our upstairs unit was no longer cooling the upstairs. Jeff (with Ellington) absolutely blew us away with his level of professionalism and knowledge. Like I said, we have used several AC companies in the past; some so-so friendly and some sketchy. In addition, the work we have had done prior to finding Jeff and Ellington just did not work, as the AC was running but not cooling! About an hour after Jeff left our house the last time, our house was cool again! Jeff was superb! So recently when our unit that is downstairs (not a unit Jeff even saw, last time, as it was a non-issue) began leaking, we knew the only people we would consider calling would be Ellington. Fortunately for us, Jeff is the one who showed up, again! Jeff is absolutely stellar in his job. He found the cause of the problem and fixed it. In addition, he cleaned and resealed the entire unit and area surrounding to prevent current and future leaks and we could not be more pleased. My husband and I wish that all of the repair work and/or contractors we have in our home were as knowledgeable, friendly and professional as Jeff with Ellington AC. Showed up on time and performed the work in a very professional manner. They finished up at their estimated time and cleaned up and removed all old A/C equipment and materials. System working great! We definitely noticed the drop in humidity inside the house and a very quiet system (blower) inside garage and outside (condenser/fan unit).

Here’s the reason Ellington has been the best company I have purchased from in the Keys. Within 48 hours of my call, they had a professional job estimator review my job (install two new complete AC systems in a new location at my home). He spent several hours investigating every aspect of the job and then gave me a detailed written price quote that night that included everything needed to complete the job. The job was completed less than one week later by two professionals that showed up on time and did everything they promised. I spent 6 weeks trying to get estimates from several other well known AC companies in Marathon and their estimates failed to include everything I needed (electrician, permit, indoor stands with pans and outdoor wall brackets). Ellington offered financing (the others did not). I chose the 6 months same as cash price option and could not be happier with the excellent service that I received from Ellington.

Was having some difficulty with maintaining temperature in the house.Called Ellington and was advised there was a technician close by.Lucky day---Corey showed up. He checked the entire system out and concluded that the thermostat was the problem. He drove back to the shopand came back with a new one(updated model), installed it and it solved the problem.Corey was in on the initial installation and has since been the one to do the yearly inspection. The service guys seem to know what they are doing. The install guys not so much. I purchased a unit in August and the air handler is now literally falling off the wall. The install was a nightmare where the installer kept thinking water would run up hill until almost 10 at night because he couldnt tap into the drain pipe in the wall. He also said I couldnt have the several hundred dollar thermostat because they couldnt pull a wire thru the wall because it might get stuck. I finally had to step in and demand they do it and guess what it worked. They mangled the air handler with unnecessary holes, but didnt seem to care....and now I get the same attitude that I got with the original install when they are here trying to fix it today. They just do things that dont make any sense. They appear inexperienced and dont care what a mess they leave for the owner. If you purchase something from these guys you need to watch them like a hawk to make sure it is installed properly and that you dont wake up one night with the unit on the floor. I cannot recommend them to anyone. UPDATE: Ellington immediately responded to my review and they are working with me. I will update this post with the result. UPDATE: Ellington came and installed a brand new air handler and installed the unit in a much more stable way where it rests on a platform, but now there is a new issue. the humidity readings are now never going below 70% and it seems to be more humid in the condo. I have reported this and we will see where it goes.

We really appreciate all of the time & effort that John P. took in reviewing our inadequate A/C system, estimating various options for additional units, providing reasonable proposals, coordinating with our electricians, and communicating with us via phone/email in a timely manner. He was patient with our numerous questions & financial concerns; and he made recommendations without trying to sell us the most expensive products or add-on features. During the installation of the 3 units, both Allen & Justin were knowledgable, helpful, and very respectful; they persevered despite the rain showers & our barking dog! Ellington air installed an outside Trane unit, new ductwork and a new Mitsubishi ductless unit in our home several years ago and did an amazing job. Our technician Cory (along with Josh) recently helped us resolve some maintenance and repair issues. Cory and Josh showed great patience in helping us understand the problems and Cory very efficiently repaired our a/c unit. It is a pleasure working with a group of people who promptly respond and who show such professionalism and courtesy. Cory is absolutely a pleasure to work with.

We needed an entirely new system. After getting quotes from the major installers, we decided on Ellington and we are glad we did. They gave us a superior system for less money, and promise to service what theyve sold us. They arrived promptly, were very nice and yet professional, and completed a big job in a short time. They put down dropcloths and cleaned up everywhere after they were done. When they had to come back two days later for a minor thermostat adjustment, the tech guru fixed the problem and the owner of the company came along to be sure we were happy. We will certainly recommend Ellington to everyone.
