It’s tough sorting through the mountain of baby stuff when you’re a new parent. Literally every. Single. Thing. is a potential source of harm to the little one. Thankfully, Jami, Michael and their team did the research, and guided us through a lot of the decisions. I appreciated how they talked us through trade offs - helping us to find the gear that addressed what mattered most for us. They are our go-to for questions, and also carry a ton of fun stuff we would never have thought of. Like “baby-ators”- sunglasses for little ones. Great stop for shower gifts, bday, and even just to say hi.

I stopped in Hip Baby Gear after finding out I was expecting, just to poke around. Right from the start Jamie, the owner, was so helpful, attentive, and knowledgeable. Moreover, she had such high-end, best in the market products - not just top products from the U.S. but also Europe - I just knew I had to come back and do my registry here.When the time came, I scheduled an appointment and Jamie walked through my entire registry with me. The best part is she knows so much about her products, and she is a mother as well, so she is honest about what you really need versus what is a nice to have. Also, she works with you to choose the products that best suit your lifestyle and purpose. She doesnt try to push a certain product/brand down your throat. Another added bonus, because I was having my shower in Marblehead she not only gave my guests the option to have gifts purchased from her store gift-wrapped but she is also delivering it to the venue for them as well. All around great products and great service - I am a huge fan and will be a regular in this store. Definitely recommend.

One of the best transactions Ive ever had the pleasure of doing! I currently live overseas and saw that Hip Baby Gear was offering a special on their LILLIEBaby Ring Slings. My husband and I are expecting at the end of September and were looking for a Ring Sling for our little one. I decided to support a local business and purchase small and I am so happy I did. Within less than 24 hours I had an email from the owner of Hip Baby Gear who was simply amazing! I received my Ring Sling within a week of purchase and it was absolutely flawless. Above and beyond with customer service. I contacted them via Facebook Messenger to order a SoapSox and a place mat to be delivered to a friend in Marblehead, and the owner was quick to reply about current inventory and ordering instructions. Once my order was placed, it was hand delivered (onto the porch of my friend) the next day. Being from Marblehead but currently living in California, I love being able to support a small business from the town I love. Cant wait to visit in person next time were in town! Highly recommended!

I have to give kudos to the part-owner of this store. I had some questions about demoing a stroller and got some conflicting info from a clerk at the store. He personally spent some time sorting it out and getting back to me all in under an hour. Nice personalized service and great store.

Excellent customer service and great response to a question. Was looking for a product that they didnt have in stock but they were able to locate at another store nearby and I am very happy with how well they work with other local businesses.

I ordered a Baby Jogger stroller 12 days ago from the store as a Xmas present for my daughter. The sales person was very helpful, told me the stroller was in stock and would only take a couple of days to reach me. I still dont have it, have called 5 or 6 times in the past 3 days and still havent received status or a tracking number.

Awful service. Ordered a baby carrier only to be told THREE weeks later they didnt have said carrier. I asked for a refund & am still waiting for my refund almost FOUR weeks later....have contacted them many times with no response. Luckily I ordered using PayPal & PayPal has great customer service and is currently helping me....I will never do business here again.
