I am in Marinette this week for spring walleye fishing. On Tuesday morning while launching my 19.5’ Lund, I noticed the roller bracket on the trailer winch had one side broken off at the manufacturer’s weld, apparently caused by several “bumps” over the years while loading the boat, including the night before in strong winds.I pulled out my phone and Googled nearby machine shops and Marinette Machine popped up first. I called explaining my situation and they said bring it over. About 5 hours later, the bracket was rewelded and painted, stronger and better than factory original. They even installed a replacement roller I purchased from an area marine and sports dealer.I know this is not the focus of their business model, but I was truly impressed by their friendliness, speed, and quality of work. And very reasonable charge. They are a relatively new business in Marinette and I highly recommend you check them out.
