After a month log headache dealing with one of the big box stores with a refrigerator purchase. I came to Iowa appliance center and they had what I wanted in stock and was able to deliver it when I wanted it. They were on time very professional and capable, they said they would deliver between 9-11 am, at 9 on the dot they texted they were on the way. I will make sure all my future appliance purchase are from here only. Plus they can service them too. Win-win.

After searching for a good price everywhere on the washer and dryer I wanted I found the best price here and to boot it’s a locally owned business! Communication was great, scheduled a delivery fast. Took 20 minutes for them to remove my old hunk of junk and set up my brand new one. I was very pleased and will definitely be doing business here from now on for all my appliance needs.

Worst service ever. After waiting 3 weeks for technician to come, he only spent less than 5 min inspecting the dishwasher. He then speculated that main electronic board is not working. We asked for the part number and I ordered it from the store. I installed it myself in 5 min and dishwasher won’t work and it was exactly like before I changed the electronic board. Called the store again, technician came again and said, touchpad needs replacement. He won’t stop talking about his skills and experience, so I walked him to door and returned the electronic board I bought from them. Clearly, this technician has no idea what’s going on. I am glad I didn’t let him replace it himself. He was gonna charge me almost 250$ for labor that would have not fixed the problem. I asked for refund for his service fee ( because clearly he was wrong), but they won’t give back. My advice, go somewhere else for appliances repair...

First off, I am a repeat customer of Iowa Appliance a few times over and have always been very satisfied with their pricing and service. I also try and support local businesses whenever possible over big box/retail box stores. Being a local small business owner myself, I understand how important online reviews are, so I wanted to take the time to provide a quick review. At some point the Derecho storm took out our main fridge/freezer and was able to find an available floor model to pick up the same day at a very good price. I cannot say enough about Danelle and Natashas professionalism, knowledge and quick assistance. They even helped me get the fridge loaded into my truck bed as I was not able to assist from just having Rotator Cuff surgery.

The staff was really helpful on the purchase of my upright deep freeze. They answered all my questions, and got me the appliance that fit my needs. Highly recommend the store to anyone looking for excellent appliance and excellent service after the sale.

Everything was way overpriced especially for being “discounted”. Also staff wasn’t very friendly and didn’t want to leave there computer to help me. I also wanted to pay cash to hopefully get a better deal and they will not negotiate. Terrible place to buy appliances

Love Iowa Appliance. They have done my washer, dryer, water heater, fridge downstairs and now my whole kitchen. Very easy to deal with. Helpful and very on the ball to help. I bought a whole kitchen appliance set and 3days later I had a new fridge thanks to them. My old one went bad quick, I called the day after I bought the set and within 48 hours I had a new fridge. Exceptional. Thanks Natasha and Iowa Appliance Center. Oh BTW they also told me about rebates available, provided forms and even refunded me money when my fridge went on sale 5 days later. Weve use a few other appliance repair servicea in recent years. Iowa Appliance is our new go-to option. They were able to come out on short notice and get a refrigerator working temporarily until a replacement part arrived. They arrived when they said they would, were friendly and professional including the office staff.We since elected to purchase a new washing machine from them rather than repair and found the sales team as well as the installers also prompt and professional.I would highly recommend them when you need an appliance serviced.

I had Iowa Appliance Center service a 4-month old microwave that I purchased from them. Since that time - in the last 10 days - I have received a total of 3 emails from them saying that a technician is due to arrive at my home for a scheduled repair - and of course the address they show is NOT my address. It appears that they are just using MY email address for ALL contacts, regardless of who their customer is. Ive tried to contact IA Appliance Ctr by email, but they are all no reply messages that are sent to me. Maybe now they will figure it out and quit emailing me when in fact those messages have absolutely nothing to do with anything I own. In the past 4 months, I have purchased the following from Iowa Appliance: washer, dryer, microwave, dishwasher. And that will be the very LAST of my purchases from them, since this situation is so annoying and I cant seem to get them to stop emailing me about someone elses problems.

Tried on Tuesday, your employee said, yes he is here may I tell him who is calling.... Sorry, he doesnt seem to be answering.... So I left you a v-mail this time. Now a week later, nothing back. We is a bad review the only way to get a response?-- a year later and still no response. Yes the washer was replaced at a pro-rated value which screwed us out of over a years value, plus you deducted the parts used in the last repair from the value!DISGUSTING AVOID!!!!!!

We recently had recall on our Bosch Dishwasher. Iowa Appliance Center did a fantastic professional job taking care of it for us. The gentlemen that installed the part were on-time, professional, polite and took extra care to not scratch the wood floor when pulling the dishwasher out. When it is time to purchase new appliances, we will definitely shop at Iowa Appliance Center.

Warning!! I had a terrible experience with this buisness. I had my wash machine brought into their service center to be repaired- it was like new-only year old. A week later ( because a their repair man quit) I went and picked up my washer=175.00. Picked it up, brought it home, plugged it in and it was doing EXACTLY what it did when I dropped it off. They sent a tech out in a day or two, he informs me they NEVER tested it after they replaced the part, just assumed it would work. So they order more parts and I’m not kidding you, a MONTH later they show up and put another part in- and guess what? BIG SHOCK- it’s doing exactly what it did before. After two hours of the tech running “diagnostics” they decide, the motor, the board, and everything else is wrong with my washer and for another 300.00 they will actually FIX my washer!! What a joke. Please do yourself a favor and hire ANYONE but these people! Heck try to fix it yourself, it would probably be less of a headache than dealing with this business.

Initially I was happy with everything bought a whole appliance set from them. They even held it til our remodel was done. Installed the microwave worked 1 time for about 30 sec. then went blank. took a week the 1st time to get a guy out to look at it. Said they found the problem, ordered parts 2 weeks later had to call and see if part was in and set appointment to install a week later. They installed parts didnt fix it. Ordered another part week later call from them wrong part going to be another 5 days to get it. The whole time has taken over a month now to fix on a microwave I bought from them. Not Happy

After using a different repair company, that told me he had no idea what was wrong with my washing machine.. I called Iowa appliance.The tech came out and diagnosed my machine having a bad motor. I decided at that point a new one would be the best bet since a repair was $400.This house is a rental and I dont live in town to pick up the old one and put a new one in. The receptionist told me I they could deliver and pick up the old one the same day. This was such a relief. I received a brand new washer installed for $400!During the whole process the receptionist had great communication and gave me great service!I would recommend using this company for all appliance issues!! Very professional and fast!

They dont ever answer their phones. I live close and have called multiple times and get voice mail for 5-10 minutes straight. So when I hop in my car and drive over there, and both times two ladies were at the front desk visiting.

I would give them 0 if i could.We purcheased very high end appliances through them and the service as been absolutely ridiculous! We were forced by the long term insurance to buy new appliances throught them again and the service has gotten worse, if that is even possible!Avoid this business at all cost!!! Nearly 20 months of unusable appliances waiting for them to process claims and send service personel. When we contacted the warranty company directly, about a second issue, one month in and we have received no resolution to our current problem, and the warranty company informed us that they were just notified of the issue.We try to buy local and support local companies, this is one to avoid.

Had Iowa Appliance come to service our 5 year old Samsung dryer. They said it couldn’t be fixed and to buy a new one. The $85 service charge was applied to the dryer. The dryer is three months old and now their telling us we need three parts . Samsung said they have never heard of a brand new dryer needing three parts Thats less then 3 months old. After during some research Iowa Appliance applying the $85 service charge if you buy an Appliance from them is BS. Could have bought it somewhere else for less money. These people are rude. Also, they looked at our dishwasher that is 5 years old and told us we needed a new one after charging us a $168 for parts and labor that ruined our dishwasher. These people are rude, and unprofessional. Be careful purchasing from them.

Called Iowa Appliance Center two times, once to replace the timer, and twice on the timer still not timing correctly and the gas would not ignite. Each time it took them 2 weeks to arrive. The second time Iowa Appliance came they said: The GE Dryer has shorted out and needs all of these parts ... cost $430.88. I thought something was fishy. So I called Brandis Appliance Repair to get a second estimate to repair a bad timer switch and a gas ignitor. They discovered someone had disconnected the Radiant Sensor and put the wrong knob on the timer. They corrected these problems with a total cost less than $100. My conclusion from all of this is some appliance companies are either incompetent, dishonest, or both. Brandis Appliance Repair are honest competent people and I highly recommend them.

Customer service is awful. The “installers” delivered our washer and left without testing the hose connections for leaks. Less than 15 minutes later, we discovered the hose was leaking. When we called the store, we were coldly told to contact a plumber (their “sister store”, of course) that there was nothing else they could or would do about it.

When the snow finally started melting outside, I decided it was time to get rid of the snow accumulating in my freezer. After several failed DIY attempts to remedy the problem, I gave up and called Iowa Appliance Center. I talked to a very polite young lady, Natasha, on the phone, who promptly scheduled a service technician to come look at my freezer. When the service technician, Rick, arrived at my house, I was immediately impressed by his professional, hardworking demeanor. It didnt take long for Rick to isolate what was causing the issue, and order the proper part to fix it. I am immensely pleased with the service I received from Iowa Appliance Center. Not only are they knowledgable professionals, but they also truly care about their customers. That means more to me than anything else- Thank you Iowa Appliance Center!

In my opinion Iowa Appliance Center is unprofessional and unconcerned with customer care. I wish I would have known as much before wasting $85 on a service call.

The initial installation of two appliances was incorrect and had to schedule another service call. Multiple problems with a new dishwasher. Tried to blame my water, my soap, my dishes were too dirty, I didnt pre-heat the water. Customer service is just plain downright rude .
