My brother and I have bought a fourwheeler and two lawn mowers from them over the last two years and so far we’ve had pretty good experiences every time which makes this last experience even more surprising. I wanted to bring my lawn mower that I bought from them last fall in for it’s first service to get it serviced up and ready for cutting season. I called and told them I lived about 45 minutes away and was going to be coming in to drop it off close to closing time and asked them if it would be ok. They said yes that would be fine and asked me if I knew where their new location was. They gave me the new address and I talked to Sam and he explained about where they were and how to get there. I looked it up in the gps first to see if it would pull up and the location was too knew so I just took Sam’s directions. I got to the area that Sam told me where they were about 15 minutes before close and couldn’t find any indication of where they were. I called and talked to Sam two more times trying to navigate and find it with no luck. I called back a third time around 5:00 which was closing time and no answer. Well even though I had already missed my opportunity before close, I decided to go ahead and try to find this place since I made the 45 minute trip and at this point had been driving around aimlessly for another 30 minutes trying to find it. After driving all over the surrounding roads again, I finally found a sign on the ground, in an empty lot, that said Barton Equipment. There was another small engine place beside it that said Travis Small Engines or something like that that I guess could’ve been it; however, I was told nothing about looking for a building with another name on it. Even though I stil have no idea where the building to the new location is, that is not what I’m most frustrated about. I understand that directions could be miscommunication or a simple mistake. The most frustrating thing is I drove 45 minutes to bring you a mower that I bought from you to get serviced and I talked to someone 4 times and they knew I had driven 45 minutes and was in the area but having a hard time finding it and no one called me or anything to try and follow up to make sure I made it or ask where I was. When it turned 5:00, they went home with complete disregard for the customer’s time and the customer that drove 45 minutes to do business with them. That is extremely frustrating. I guarantee if I was making an appointment to sign the paperwork on another piece of equipment, they would’ve called back and made sure I got there. Hopefully there is an explanation or legitimate reason for this.
