Michael and his shop are the tops in my book! Bile touring cross country and called him for help a few minutes before closing. Michael told me to make my way to his shop as he was working late anyway. He came back at 8:30 and had me back on the road in a few minutes. Thank you Michael! Marion Cycle Works is unique. Ive visited many bike shops where I got the impression that theyd be just as happy selling appliances or office equipment. The passion for cycling just wasnt there. When I first walked into MCW I could tell it was different in a very good way. With the classic bicycles on the walls, posters of cyclings greats and the display cases of memorabilia throughout the shop, I knew immediately that the owner not only had the skills required to be in business, but actually cared about cycling. When I met Michael, that opinion was confirmed. He knows bicycles inside and out. Not only the new ones of today, but going back 30, 40 or 50 years. I was so impressed with what I heard that I brought in an older bicycle that needed restoration a few weeks later and had Michael refurbish it. The result was impressive, and at a fair price. Since then, even though there are several bike shops within 15 minutes of my house, I drive an hour to Marion Cycle Works for service because I know that someone is working on my bike that actually cares about it. In total, Michael has overhauled 7 of my bicycles, and each one was done beautifully. No matter what level you are as a cyclist, Michael will be able to help you with whatever question you have and get you on the road again. Highly recommended!

I took my bike in to be repaired and they were 100% honest and that really surprised me. They didn’t up sell me something I didn’t need. In the future will see if they can install a electric kit to my bike that I will buy fingers crossed
