First Ill say I absolutely love their collision center and the people that work there, will always recommend them for repairs like that.I appreciate the pick up - drop off service when getting my oil changed and love they send out coupons periodically. Getting an appointment for service was fast.Wish Id of came to them and bought my new car, I feel like they would have made sure I was taken care of.

It all started when our old car needed service. We went in on a Saturday. While we waited, we talked to several of the people that worked there. All very friendly and helpful! Real people with real personalities. Amazing all by itself. We wandered around and looked at the cars, to pass the time and found one we really liked. We asked a few questions about it and Royce answered them all! We went home after service was completed and talked for a week about the new car we had seen. We decided to go back and if it was still there, we would test drive and ask more questions. All good! We bought the car! While finishing the paperwork on the new car, I asked about a new truck that I wanted. A new one has been delivered the day before and it wasn’t spoken for yet. They brought it around, I asked my questions, it had everything I wanted, so we test drove it. We made an appointment to come back and sign papers on that one too. I paid a deposit. Nick was so good with both vehicles! We returned Monday and purchased the truck too. Did pretty good for an oil change! And it’s because of your people. Please commend all these people for a job well done and for being so incredibly nice and “real”. We both got “mostly” the deal we wanted and they said that if there was anything we needed, to call or text or whatever! Amazing again!Kudos to Royce, Nick, “Cool” Edward, Jessica, Jesse and the quite amazing Blake who was on top of the whole show! Then there’s John! Made the paperwork (which causes cold sweats), an easy and easily understood process. How often do you buy two cars at the same time and it be such an easy, almost pleasurable experience? Your people made it that way! All 10’s!

The first day i got home to find no license plates were put on my new car and had to go back to get them. My check engine light came on 3 days after purchasing a certified vehicle here. Took it in to get serviced at an 8 am appt (3 weeks later), they had to let it cool off until noon and took an additional 4 hours to change a 2 hour at most part. I wish i had not bought a car here at all, I would literally give it back to be done with them.

What an GREAT experience at Marion Chevrolet-Buick-GMC-Cadillac! Nick made buying a new car so easy for my husband and I. When looking for a car we were set on leather seats but ended up with cloth. Nick showed us a package where we could add on leather seats and that was such an easy fix. They took my new car and did all the work for us, while they gave me a loaner car! Blake is the Best! He made space in his office for all of our family to be in there during the signing process! That was so small task since we have 6 kiddos, so that was 8 people in his office. He went above and beyond to make the children feel comfortable! He even let them play with the toy cars he had on his shelf!Trever, did a great job ordering our new suburban! He ordered exactly what we wanted!Doug was very nice and super knowledgeable about the features on the suburban and how everything worked! He stayed with us as we moved our car seats out of the old suburban into the new one, Whitehall was super helpful with the children!This is the 3rd vehicle we have bought from Marion Chevrolet and it most likely will not be the last if you keep these wonderful people around!!!

Car was misdiagnosed 3xs, they had my car for almost 3 weeks when it was just supposed to take a few days, did not have a loaner car available when I asked because I have 3 boys and needed something until they got my car fixed. Everytime I called to check on the status of my car, I was told sorry they got pulled off of it to work on a differnt car. The worst part was that I was told on a Friday my car would be done. Or a tech would get it finished on Saturday I even expressed that the techs didnt work on Saturday, and again it was confirmed that a tech would be there. I call Saturday to find out when I can pick it up and was first told the tech was working on it, so I asked to talk to the tech in the same conversation to be told again there was not a tech there and no one would be able to tell me anything until the following Tuesday. This was definitely the worst service Ive ever experienced in the 35 yrs I been dealing with service shops . It was not worth 1500.00 in labor

Royce and Blake made purchasing our new 2021 Silverado a very easy process! Great communication and transparent through the whole deal. Royce worked to get us the most on discounts and a fair trade. We felt very comfortable inside the dealership with the courtesy shown to us! Salesman Hugo responded quickly to my initial inquiry in fact much faster than other reps with other dealerships. Hugo answered all questions and got back to me quickly when necessary. Finance Manager Blake was a joy to work with. He stayed focus with the information and explained the documents thoroughly. Overall, a great experience. The only downside, we live over a 100 miles away and probably wont be able to take advantage of the service department.

Brought my truck is to be diagnosed. I was charged for diagnosing it, YET By your own admission 3 times telling me you Could not get the scanner to connect to the ECM/ECU. Had the truck for 10 days, you put 138 miles on it, repeatedly asked you to fix the problem with ECM Communication problem, AND YET STILL CHARGED ME FOR DIAGNOSING IT !!! I still dont know what is wrong with my truck or where the problem is at.I HAVE SENT MARION GMC CHEVROLET THOUSANDS OF CUSTOMERS OVER THE LAST 5 OR 6 YEARS YEARS AND BRAGGED ON THEM... I WILL NEVER SEND ANOTHER CUSTOMER TO THEM. MARION CHEVROLET has lost all the GOOD Machanics that knew what they were doing.NEVER AGAIN ! How do you justify charging me for diagnosing it when by your own admission 3 times saying you could not get the scanner to communicate with the vehicles computers ?!?!

Ryan and the tech found sidewall bubbles on both of my rear tires. They were replaced under warranty. We are heading out west on a 4k+mile vacation pulling a 5th wheel with our 3500HD. The attention to detail by the Marion staff probably saved us from having a flat or worse on this upcoming trip. This is the reason I always have my oil changed by a certified GM Tech. Thank you

I cant say anything to bad. Nice guys easy to deal with but the least aggressive sales team Ive ever dealt with. After them making a $7600 mistake on the paperwork the payment raised well over $100 and a year longer and basically acted as it was no big deal. All this after they pulled my credit. Sorry about that is what I was told. I was reluctant to say the least bit was considering stepping up. Never asked what do we have to do to make this deal? Never had a sales manager even speak with me before I left. Again nice enough guys but really strange experience to me compared to the many many others Ive had over the years.

I scheduled and oil change and tire rotation online. That was very easy and worked very well for me. The staff was professional and polite. The waiting room was clean and comfortable. They took care of my vehicle in a timely manner and I will reschedule another appointment with them the next time my vehicle needs service.

My husband and I visited Marion Chevrolet on Saturday 2/27/2021 in hopes of purchasing a new truck like the one in this pictures. By happenstance, we were connected by phone to Nick Ronketto. This salesman is an up and up true professional. The approach of car sales this dealership takes - gives the buyer the knowledge they need to purchase in a respectful manner. Of course, we bought the 2021 Silverado LT but Nick was a great instructor on assisting with the sale. Blake, who helped us with the final paper work is a blast! I also appreciate the maintenance service department and the fast car repair service . Thank you Michael, I appreciate your help, as well...on this day, I received 5 STARS EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!No customer should have to wait 4 hours for a system repair they couldnt fix due to the weather. I was told to come back another. They didnt schedule another appointment for me; I had to ask for one which will be the 3rd visit for the same problem.By the way, no one offered me a loaner car. I asked about a loaner car at the first visit. I was told that they didnt have anymore and loaner cars on the lot and something about them coming from Enterprise. The second time I was told the service would only take an hour, therefore, I didnt ask about a loaner car and one was never offered to me. So I sat there again for almost 4 hours waiting for my car. I appreciate the hard work that the mechanics technicians and maintenance staff provide, but sitting in the waiting room for 4 hours at both visits was just too much.It would have been nice to have receive the detailed review about my car at the maintenance office verses reading it on the Rate review.

This is a rebuttal to the response from the owner to my original review of this business. I was never “contacted immediately by Chuck Walker”. I was called by a young man in the service department named Ryan. If the right rear of my truck fell then why was most of the damage on the left front of my truck.There was no offer to work overtime to repair my vehicle so how could I decline the offer? I was told by the collision center that they did not know when my truck could be repaired because it takes longer now to get parts.I did not insist that the insurance company get involved, I only assumed that it would.I recently took my truck back, not because my issues had been resolved but because I had been without it for nine weeks and I needed it. These are the facts of the matter.

Even during scheduled oil changes, and other routine service appointments, he goes above and beyond to ensure Im taken care of. Not once have I ever felt belittled, intimidated, or rushed while asking questions about my vehicle. This review is LONG overdue as Ive honestly never experienced a representative with customer service skills such as him. On May 20, 2020 I took my 2017 GMC Sierra 2500 to this dealership for an oil change. I was told the hydraulic lift holding my truck failed and my truck fell to the floor causing major damage. The dealership began repairing my truck until I told the general manager that I did not think it fair that I would now have a truck worth much less than before I brought it in. The truck was basically wrecked. The dealership then stopped working on my truck. It has now been 2 months since my truck was damaged. My truck remains at the dealership unrepaired. No one of authority at the dealership has contacted me to explain why. I have had no offer of restitution. I am not sure how this is going to end.

Although I always feel very well taken care of when I have my car serviced here, today was one of those days where I just needed to hear a little good news. Unfortunately, my car has some unfortunate issues but with my extreme concerns and the AWESOME team here, my car was placed in by appointment the first opportunity I could get it in. Blake & John took care of my Extended Warranty Plan I had been wanting to purchase and the crew in maintenance hooked my Malibu up to the diagnostics equipment and there it was. We are from Indiana. This has weighed heavily on my mind for quite a while, and perhaps this review will serve to relieve some of the anger and frustration I harbor with Marion Chevrolet of Marion, IL. Earlier this year, our 2003 Chevy Suburban broke down on I-57 north of Marion and was towed to Marion Chevrolet for repair of what turned out to be a broken wire in the acceleration system. The very first word I received was that the truck needed a new battery before they could proceed with diagnosis and repair. The dealer battery cost was an outrageous $147. The trucks battery had been replaced approximately three years prior, and in my opinion didnt need to be replaced, but the dealer insistently would not proceed with this out-of-state repair until a new battery was installed. My son, who happened to work at a local car parts store, called Marion Chevrolet to say he could provide the very same Delco battery for $80 and would deliver it. Marion Chevy service department were highly offended and accused our very docile and placid son of belligerent behavior over the phone, but offered to accept the battery for a large service charge to remove their battery they had already installed. In the end, total price including towing for a broken wire was nearly $1000.In our opinion, Marion Chevrolet sadly but not unexpectedly perpetuated the stereotypical dealer crook image. They put on veiled customer service but took high advantage of an out-of-state customer in pursuit of corporate gain. We will never again darken the doors of this greedy company. And sadly, Marion Chevrolet has further soured our attitude of having our cars serviced at any dealer ever again.
