I went into the shop looking for a mother of the groom dress, had no clue what I wanted. However I knew it had to be extra special. For a small shop I could not believe how many dresses she had. She was awesome, she was extremely helpful, knowledgeable. She does any alterations herself. I can’t say enough about her. Unlike the other shops that I went to the dresses had to be sent out & wouldn’t be back in time for my son’s August wedding.Definitely would recommend “The Special Event Bridal shop”

We went their for all the prom dresses for both my daughters.. and one I bought 4 prom dresses in 1 year .. Bought my daughters wedding gown and planning for my second daughter.. They became like family ... Cant wait till i get to go for my second daughters wedding dress ..

They are wonderful! So kind and professional, willing to go the extra mile. They were closed due to Covid19 but were able to open the shop for a quick one on one wedding dress alteration appointment for me. I love this bridal shop. Staff is a pleasure to work with & very attentive. Just purchased a beautiful mother of the groom dress. Last week took my granddaughter in looking for junior bridesmaids dresses & the staff was so attentive & chose dresses appropriate for her age. I can’t wait for our dresses to come in. I remember in 2010 when it was my daughters wedding & I had been to a different bridal shop & they said we can’t help you there isn’t enough time & I went to special event & the girls there were don’t worry we will find you a dress & I had a beautiful dress. I have sent friends here.

Absolutely LOVE Special Event Bridal. Bought my prom dress here last year and it was amazing. This year I went to at least four different stores before coming to this one and found a dress in literally 15 minutes. Staff is amazing and super helpful. Will definitely be buying from them again.

I was hopeful about this place, because I had been there before and they have beautiful dresses. I went in with my friend who is getting married and we ordered the bridesmaids dresses there and mine (my dress was different since I am the maid of honor) We ordered the dress 2.5 months before the wedding, which I understand is a little close. They told us oh its fine it will come in beginning of August. I never received a call from them to update me on anything. They called the bride but the dress was mine and I never got a call. I would call them many times and no one would pick up. Sometimes I would keep calling until someone did pick up because they were open. The dresses came in the week before the wedding. I had asked a family member to pick up my dress because I was working and if you work 9-5 forget ever being able to go into this store because they close at 5. When I saw the dress, it was not my dress. Thankfully it was the same as the other girls, which is fine. But when they called me to tell me the dress had arrived, they didnt even bother telling me THE WRONG DRESS CAME IN!! They said they could change the straps a little with no charge, but I do not want there services anymore. I am very disappointed and will not be recommending it to anyone.

I had a very good experience working with the Special Event Bridal Shoppe. My friend ordered her bridesmaid dresses through the store and I was able to easily call in my measurements and order the dress from out of state. They were also able to tailor the body and hem of the dress within 24 hours so it fit perfectly for the wedding day. The ladies who work there were knowledgeable, helpful, kind, and very responsive to my requests.

Great experience at this shop! Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I went in for bridesmaid dresses and they had great suggestions for dresses that would fit multiple body types. They made ordering them easy. Not sure about alterations as the dresses have not come in yet.

Wow what a surprise. I cant say my expectations were very high only because so far dress shopping has been a nightmare with very few shops to choose from. Thankfully, really nice ladies, different dresses with a good variety to choose from. Convenient location too. A bit crowded and needs to be spruced up a bit but an great experience all around.

I recently purchased my Allure bridal gown here and it is absolutely beautiful. The alterations came out perfect and the shop owner and staff were very accommodating. I had a very positive experience here. They have a really nice selection of wedding gowns and dresses for other formal occasions.

This business is horrible. They sold me a wedding dress and claimed basic alteration would be included in price. Instead of a normal cut and hem, they pulled all of the insides of the dress up, bunched it up and sewed it leaving a bulge in the center. The made a corset back and only sewed on one corner of the back piece which should have been sewn all the way down. They said they wanted the money within two weeks before the wedding but then all of a sudden they wanted the money almost two months before with no more sizing to be done. They completely messed up this one!!! Even said they would have some alterations done when I went back after purchasing the dress and sizing it to me.... no alterations had been done. What was the point of even going back?! They wanted another payment toward the dress, thats why. Horrible service, bad communication and unprofessional seamstress. Please save yourself the time and hassle.

One Saturday my mother-in-law decided to take a ride out to The Special Event Bridal Shoppe. It had been the first shoppe we started with. As soon as I walked through the door, the staff was very Knowledgeable. They knew the right questions to ask and preceded to bring a few wedding dresses that I might like based on our conversation. It tried on 5 dresses and I knew which one I wanted. They helped add accessories to make the dress even stand out more. They set dates for measurements, try on after the measurements. I would highly recommend this store, yes it was small but the area they had secluded for Brides was big enough because thats what this store is all about, the Brides. The others who made poor remarks, disregard them because theyre simply not true in my opinion.

This bridal shop is absolutely great. My family always gets our special gowns/dresses for our special events.

My daughter visited this establishment today. The sales person wanted nothing to do with her because she was not with me, her mother. She was with her friend and her mother. She told my daughter to remove her personal items from the dressing room and to next time come in with her mother. How crushing to a teenager who wanted to shop for a prom dress. The all mighty dollar wins again! Shame on this establishment.

Great Service and selection

Last year my friend and I had gone there to look for prom dresses. The store itself was so unorganized and messy making it hard to get around. The ladies who worked there were also so rude to us. It was probably based on the fact that we were not exactly thin like the other girls they were actually trying to help. I would recommend staying away from this shop, it is a mess and they are not helpful what so ever!
