I called ahead to find out if they had the battery I needed, I came to the store, was waited on immediately, they tested 2 of the batteries I brought in and gave me positive review of my two batteries. I was able to install the 2 other batteries in my main work vehicle the next morning that put me back in business right away. The price, availability, service and friendly demeanor of the staff will always be my go-to place for anything batteries!

Went in for atv battery and was asked if had more room and said no was tight, but was sold this by Willow, and when got to putting in found it is too large. Was never able to even set it in the battery compartment. Had bank record showing transaction and charge and mentioned that and date of transaction immediately when came back to return. Willow took and tested the battery, and tells me is able to confirm my purchase on that day as I mentioned first thing when I came back in, and Then tells me cant do anything since it has been more than 14 days. Now have this just barely been out of the box $100 useless to me brick. Great customer service.

Location, location, location...even better than ever...The square footage of the store is relatively the same as before but with a bit of flair... The salespeople are unfazed with the types of daily requests that they get, and seem equipped to handle anyone that comes through the door...Give em a try...

VERY UNHAPPY! Husband bought battery on line last night, want to collect this morning. They are supposed to be open from 8 am - 8 pm. He went at 10 am, store closed, no one there. No one to reply to message on answering phone, when you call the cell phone for owner, it is unable to take calls, it tells you it is unable to receive calls, why? This is his store, why does he not want calls? His store is closed, my husband is unable to collect an item me bought and paid for, now owns and need today, drove 30 min to collect, and has to drive 30 min home without anything!This is very unprofessional. If someone was unable to be there today, then someone else should have been, or the owner should have been able to take calls. This shows very bad business practice, I have e mailed whilst my husband continues to sit outside in the hopes that someone eventually shows up, I continue to call, we have even tried Head Office, who are closed on a Saturday. Very disappointed, I am hoping they are able to make this right...

We were so pleased with this experience. We ordered our replacement battery late (after 7pm), but received an order acknowledgement from the website immediately. Within 20 minutes, the order was upgraded to pickup/ready to install. Given the late hour, we called the Marlboro store; John answered & said there was enough time for us to drive to the store (15 minutes away from home) & for him to install it. John double-checked to be sure it would be quick - yes, he could do it tonight. We arrived - 15 minutes to closing; luckily, no other customers. John had the new battery ready & started the install immediately. The old battery was original equipment, 7 yrs old. John had to persuade some of the parts to loosen, but was successful in removing the old battery. The new one dropped in & John completed the install quickly - with a few minutes to spare! John then checked the final numbers to make sure the core charge wasnt on our credit card - all set. Cant say enough about great customer service - no complaints from John; just a can-do attitude & willingness to help us out quickly. We consider that mission accomplished. Thank you, John.

I had to replace a battery on a beloved Galaxy Note 5. The staff was knowledgable and asked questions to make sure the battery was the cause of the dysfunction. He said lots of people love this phone and come in to get the service. He also said that it would take about a half hour, which it did. The phone is charging again! This is such a great place. Not everything can be done or done well on line. Ask all the questions you want, get ideas, see great new rechargeable flashlights AND support a local business along with some jobs. I spent less time getting my questions answered and am more pleased with how I decided to resolve my technical conundrum. And I can get the battery on my watch changed. Need a mower battery? Battery for your Verizon box after all the winter outages? They have those too. Bring in your old ones and they will recycle. One stop. Done!

Did a great job replacing my iPhone XR screen. Unfortunately the color is off(red is too light), I called them back and they said they would order a new one and I could bring it in at a later date to get it replaced.

Nice salesman. I ordered a motorcycle battery online for a store pickup. I was told battery would be filled with acid and charged, all set to go. When I got it home, it had no acid or charge, had to go back to store, about 11 miles each way, to have battery filled and charged. Couldnt ride motorcycle.

Bought a battery for my truck. During installation (by a batteries plus employee) they broke my battery terminal cable. They did replace it but now I have a aftermarket cable. Two months after buying this battery it died. So I called batteries plus and was told I would have to bring the battery in and have it tested. If it would take a charge I would have to leave it and come back to pick it up. So I would have to leave my truck?? There are alot of places to buy batteries. I will next time find one of those!! I would also suggest that to you!!

I needed new batteries for an electric scooter. I took the old batteries in, they checked them to confirm new batteries were needed and installed the new ones for me at no extra charge. Excellent price for the batteries as compared with the scooter company replacing them or buying online. They could not have been more efficient or nicer to deal with. Next time I need batteries or bulbs thats where I will go.

I ordered a car battery. Ordering was easy. Pick up was easy. The only thing I would change is I would have liked them to let me know the ETA of the battery at the store. It took 5 days for them to ship it to the store, but they didnt know it was there until the day it arrived, and I picked it up after work. If they had let me know ahead of time, I could have put the old one in the trunk and returned it right away.

Just used this company for the first time and will be using them again. They had the special battery I needed for my phone system. I ordered it online which got me a discount. After placing the order I received a email confirmation of the order and a message that said they would notify me when the order was ready. Within an hour I received another email telling me it was ready for pickup. When I arrived it was at the register and they even tested the battery I brought in. This company knows how to give great customer service. In the 24 hours since I got the battery I have Told ten people about this company. Been going to the marlboro store for years John the store manager gets 5 Stars from me. The Store itself and the Corporation. 1/2 Star. After having my Galaxy S7 battery changed at an Unbeatable low price of $39.99. just days after it started acting funny i called them and they told me to take it to another location they did not seen to want to help me. So, i did it was a franchise location and they picked up the Corporations mess. Just goes to show if the price is to cheap so is the quality and service. Seek a Pros Help. not the desperate $5 Ho on the corner.

A little overpriced on all items BUT they have great customer service and always seem to have what I need. They also recycle all types of batteries except lead acid (so they wont take AA, AAA, C, D or car Batts free..) but they will take lithium ion, nickel metal hydride, nickel cadmium Batts for recycling no problem.

These guys were great. I ordered a cell phone battery from the web site to pick up at the Marlboro store. When I got there I realized I had ordered the wrong battery. Do yourself a favor, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE!!! I went there to buy a battery for my car and they were very friendly and they told me that the battery had 3 year warranty and bla bla bla. So I ended buying a battery for over $160 dollars. Couple months later, my car broke down and my mechanic (that I know for over 20 years and also my close friend) told me that the battery was not good. Ok, I went back to the store and told them the problem, immediately they response was bad, they were saying that 95% of the time when mechanics blame the battery, the real problem is not the battery. So they took the battery and promising to “charge” the battery. 2 days later I got a phone call saying that the battery was perfect and bla bla bla. I said ok and took the battery and went straight to the shop where my car was. Got there and guess what?? The battery test from my mechanic said 0% life in the battery and the car did not start! I took another battery from the shop brand new and the car started right the way and the battery test on the brand new battery said “100% life”. So I went back to the store and they refuse to do anything to me. Not replacing, no money back, just like not gonna do anything. The manager told straight to my face “you can to to cooperate, go to the court, go to the police, I’m not gonna do anything to you, get out here” I called 2 other stores in Massachussets to see if they could replace the battery to me, but they said they couldn’t because the stores are individually owned. When I explain to them what happened, both said that was very weird that this guy Jhon (the manager) did not want to replace the battery to me, because it’s fairly easy to jhon to get reembolse by the corporation. I did called corporate and they try to talk to this guy jhon but I guess he has something against myself because they offer to give him a credit for the battery, but he refuse. So at this moment I have spent over $160 dollars and I’m stuck with a dead battery. Again, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE!!! If someone from corporate can help me out, please do, I feel so bad right now because I think the manager has something against myself personally

Bait and switch. The battery I bought is shown on the customer web site (not internal web site) as 90 amp hours and has no reserve minutes rating. The battery I picked up (the same model number) was rated at 175 Reserve Minutes on the case and no amp hours rating. According to industry standards 175 Reserve Minutes equals 75 amp hours (roughly) not 90 amp hours. Customer service said that the company had a different conversion method. This is like selling a 3 meter wire that measures 6 feet and saying Sorry, for us there are two feet in a meter. It is classic bait and switch, whether intentional or not. The store and the on line service refused to address the issue.
