They seem to always have what I need in stock and if they dont they can get it to me within 3 days.

Menards has a huge selection of everything from hardware to food. The staff here are friendly and very knowledgeable about whats in their store.

Don’t bother calling if you have questions. Every time I’ve called phone either rings forever or I get put on hold. Today they left me on hold for 20 min and I just finally hung up. Called Lowe’s and they answered my question promptly. Looks like I’m going to Lowe’s today.

I do not recommend this store if you have a disability and need either a rider or in case a rider is unavailable, a wheelchair. Such was the instance in my case. No riders available, which I know they only have three, so I understand the unavailability. So, I went for a wheelchair. The wheelchair wheels were so uneven, I went in circles and needed assistance with being pushed, which being disabled and working on my independence, was irritating. I left and spent my money elsewhere.

I went here for a black light flashlight. I was immediately assisted by an employee who went and got it for me. I then was looking for some pin on hooks; another employee found then and not then down for me(they were way high I the track). Everyone was very nice and made me feel welcome.

Easy to get in and collect items I need. Always find something I can use and always get great service when I shop for the homestead projects. One way in and one way out. Still gotta go around to the yard to get supplies but easy enough with good help at gate.

Great shopping, I got 3quarter, 4×8 sheets of Styrofoam insulation.

Some items were thin or missing on the shelves but then theres alot of that going around. Also it seems various departments are not always sure what they do or dont have

Delivery department, short and rude. Delivery called minutes before dropoff. Receiver ran to the ER, order left out in the rain?Voicemail was considered communication. Department head explained they arent responsible for protecting your investment. With covid and all, Menards failed..Wait...the actual driver on the other hand went way and beyond..he took his time and did consider the downpour coming. He stashed it out of the element. Thumbs up.

I have spent a lot of money at this store. They have one or two rude employees that Ive learned to avoid, but all in all they are incredibly helpful and friendly. If I have a defective item or complaint, its never an issue for them to resolve it. The only actual issue Ive ever had with this store is about the delivery driver they contract. I wish I could leave him his own scathing review, but suffice it to say, Menards deserves better and they should seriously consider cutting ties.

All and all, this is a decent store. They store trim, 1xs, and in my case, pocket door frames up a flight of stairs. Pretty rough if youre not young. Luckily, a young associate carried one of the frames down for me and got a cart to load them on

Usually my first choice for home improvement stuff. Staff are usually helpful, but not the most knowledgeable. I was recommended the product pictured to help with my exterior black fly problem. As you can see, it helped tremendously! The interior products did not work as well. But thats OK because I think the exterior device took care of the issue. Thanks to Menards staff for the recommendation! Update: day 3 reveals a significantly more amount of black flies caught. Great product!

Drove 2 hours one way and went there specifically to buy in stock cabinets. Made sure the salesperson knew i needed in-stock cabinets. I only looked at in-stock cabinets. Went through the entire process of picking them out, options, features, bought organizing inserts, and paid. Drove around the back to pick them up only to be told sorry we dont have thise in stock!!!!😡 Now i have to make another 4 hour trip to pick them up eventually. No discount even offered for their error. Construction project on hold. Very disappointed. Should have went to Lowes.

Nice place to shop for various building materials/etc. The 11% off is a nice perk once and a while plus the rebate program is now simpler to use.

I have never been a fan of their lumber yard set up, but during the pandemic it has been great. This is a great Menards, I have been very happy with it.

Did not have what I needed in stock. Asked 4 different employees,got 4 different answers. Was charged for items I didnt purchase. Did get reimbursed for unpurchased items after waiting in line 20 minutes. Over all one big hassle.

Customer service??? Not at this place. I went in to purchase an on demand propane water heater, and Jeremiah in plumbing simply wasnt interested in assisting at all. When I finally found what I thought I wanted he wouldnt even get the box down for me. Consequently I left the store and will look elsewhere

Was able to find everything right away, as all things were very well marked. Took away one star because it was busy and very few registers were open. Seems to be an issue at this store.

Every time Im in menards I never get treated by any associates,, or do they ever ask if you need help with anything, like helping you load things in your cart.

The good building store and a few groceries

This place has everything if you have a project or just are looking for ideas...

We eventually found the pavers we were looking for with no help from anyone. My niece (70 ) and I (85) loaded 21 pavers on carts only to be (wrongly) reassured later that we could drive up and have them loaded into our pickup. We waited. . . and waited. My niece finally started loading them herself. No one ever came to help us. I wont go back to Menards again for anything if I can help it. With the many customers in the store, I cant understand why there arent more sales people. The virus cant be an excuse.

This is my favorite store. I can spend hours just looking at all the things they have that other places dont have. We even bought a gorgeous 3 seat patio swing last year and brought it all the way down to our Florida home. Great store. Wish they had these in Florida!

The place is clean items are fairly well organized and the shelves are well-stocked with items they sell. The staff is friendly and helpful some more knowledgeable than others. They have a decent selection of power tools with a quality range from homeowner to contractor grade. But thats the kind of thing you can learn online.

You may not save big money, you might not already find what you need, but take it from someone that is to live over ninety miles away. Always a great place. Tons of stuff. Kids and husband both love it. A bit of everything you are looking for, and plenty of things you werent but will need anyway.

My favorite of the big hardware stores. Workers are always helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.

Employees act like a pack of dingos chasing a rabbit when they see anyone without a mask, regardless the reason. They make total fools out of themselves as they yell and chase down a mask less customer.

Easy to find someone to help, found all we needed

Employees are friendly, but not very helpful. Went to get some grip tape the other day and talked to 4 different employees who each sent me to a different corner of the store. The last one told me to go to isle 216 which didnt seem to exist. I think everyone meant well, but I Was frustrated and out of time so decided to just forget about the tape. Was able to find it at Lowes later that day. It also seems like their selection has been shrinking. We often need weird parts for robotics and the last 5 or 6 times I came here for them they didnt have anything close to what I was looking for. I still come here for home improvement supplies and have better luck there.

A store is only as good as its people. Windows and doors? They know the product line. Understaffed but, once you get some one they help. Building materials? Helpful. Electrical? Depends on who you get. I have asked if they had something. Told no. Found it myself. Plumbing? Same thing. Asked if they had a certain washer. Again, told no. Found it myself. Paint/floor covering, helpful.

Very confusing! No signs about the new changes in the store. Couldnt find things that we were looking for. No one around to help. Ask cashier a question but she just pointed, over there. We are frequent shoppers. But you need to do more, to make it better for your customers.

Customer service at this location is terrible. Rude people don’t take the time to help. Piss poor performance. Especially the pro desk freaking joke, oh and when you get your special ordered it’s usually comes damaged. They will replace but get back in line. Okay selection. Frequently have 11% rebate. However you have apply for it and then wait to get card in the mail. AND you can only use it at Menards. No military discount. Home Depot and Lowes have 10% military discount that I get immediately at purchase.

Great crew. Very helpful. Everytime I go I am impressed with the store, friendliness of staff, and how clean and organized every department is!

Went to purchase 30 1x4x8’ along with other boards. The store had 2- 1 x 4 x 8’s and they were garbage. We had to through very poor quality boards to try to find anything worth purchasing in other sizes. We left without a single board. We asked an employee if there were any other boards we could look at somewhere else in the store. He was not helpful. We will shop elsewhere.

Dont believe they dont have 2 inch PVC like I did. Dig around in the yard while employees watch you and youll find it. Knell down on the water and dig through the pile of miscellaneous PVC and youll find some.

I purchased a portable a/c unit from here online at approximately 5pm today. It was a store display, only one they had remaining according to their website. It was to be picked up at the store. There is a Menards closer to my home, but they did not have any in the store. So my husband and I drove 65 miles 1 way to pick up this unit. We get there, there are none in the store. Mind you, I paid for it online, which the employees knew because it immediately prints up in shipping and receiving. Also on this receipt was my phone # & address. So they could clearly see I had a drive ahead of me, but didnt care enough to call and tell me about the inventory being off.

Im not even sure why Lowes bothers. Lowes should move to Iron Mountain, not across the street from Menards.Best hardware store in town.

Very hard to find assistance. saying I think it is over there and pointing is not so helpful. And taking you to an area on a dead run is not helpful for elderly.

The store is very nice. The staff in the Special Order and Kitchen department need a lesson is customer service!! Dont confirm an order with the customer and say it is ready when only half of the order was there!!! I rented a trailer to pick up the kitchen cabinets, drove to the store 3 hours and found out the order wasnt competed even though Menards staff confimed it with me on the phone. Was told oh well. I went from having finished Beech wood cabinets to unfinished cabinets that I now have to finish for the same price??!!

Great service from Mariah if that’s how you spell it. She was so friendly and made sure I found the heaters I needed and helped me walk them all the way to the register . She even wrote down each sku even thought I asked for about 6 and checked them all without an attitude or even complaining that she ran out of hand space . This was a few weeks ago but I told myself service like that needs to be recognized and if your still thinking about it 2 or 3 weeks later it’s worth reviewing! Thanks Mariah and keep up the good work !
