She then explained all the options thoroughly and we were able to make a decision for the perfect fit to meet our needs. Mary was very helpful when it came to what we were looking for. We were able to put money down to hold on to the price on a hot buy! I don’t have the best credit so I wasn’t able to finance but being able to put the furniture on “layaway” so to speak is a huge help for someone like myself who cant afford to pay $1000 in one day.

I was very impressed with the knowledge, courtesy, and helpfulness of the Slumberland sales people. They showed us what to look for to determine the quality we wanted in the furniture we were shopping for and helped us compare different pieces for price and quality. The sales staff were very helpful but not pushy, let us look for ourselves but were always close enough to answer any questions we had. We found a piece we liked at Slumberland and then went to 11 other furniture stores to see what they had to offer. Some of the other stores I would never buy furniture from simply because of the sales staff. In the end we purchased the piece of furniture we wanted from Slumberland because the price for the quality we wanted stood out over the 11 other furniture stores we shopped at. The sales staff at Slumberland made our shopping experience that much better. I would highly recommend Slumberland for your furniture shopping.

I called and spoke to Patty and inquired about an online request I had submitted. She said that they were having troubles with it but would be glad to help me out.I told her the item I wanted. Although they don’t currently have it in stock, they will order and deliver in a week.She took both my number and that of my daughter, for whom the item is a birthday gift.Patty was super accommodating and even called me back because she had other customers (in person) waiting, which I didn’t mind at all.Because we are not sure who will be available to accept the delivery, she offered me her personal number so we could cut down on the confusion for delivery personnel, once I find out for sure.This is my first experience with Slumberland and I will definitely go back there. I bought over 6,000 dollars worth of furniture back in July, two out of the 3 pieces we purchased were delivered last night and both pieces were delivered damaged. It is one thing to wait for months for furniture to arrive (and to the manager yes I know what’s going on in the world) but it is unacceptable and devastating to a customer who has waited patiently and spent a large sum of money to receive their items severely damaged. Either Slumberland loaded it on to their truck without making sure the items were’t damaged before sending out for delivery or it was not properly secured and protect when Slumberland put it on their truck and got damaged while out for delivery. (None of our items were in boxes or wrapped in plastic, ect.) Regardless of Covid the products you sell and deliver should arrive to your paid customers not damaged. The bedroom set has chunks of wood out of the corners of the dresser. Our sectional arrived with several rip’s in the fabric and the center section top corner and side frame is busted. Another section of the couch the back frame moves about an inch back and forth and the whole chair wobbles if you sit on it. (I’m assuming frame is also damaged on this piece as well) oh and the tray that is under the armrests lifts up when we open the arm rest.

Went to place order for new box spring. Was deleivered within two days. Great service.

They were super nice and very helpful. I definitely would recommend going there for all furniture needs.

Slumberland was our first stop when shopping for a mattress, we then went to a few other stores just to make sure we knew all of our options. We came back to Slumberland because they had the best service and in my opinion the best mattress in our price range.

I needed a new handle for my Laz-E-Boy couch. I asked if Slumberland could find a record of the purchase, even if it wasn’t through that location and they said yes, but couldn’t find it. I tried multiple other furniture companies but couldn’t find a record there either. I then tried another Slumberland location and they found my order, including the protection plan I paid for. Unfortunately since the handle was broken over 14 days from the time I contacted them they wouldn’t help me. Slumberland would give me a new handle, but charged me $25 for “shipping .” I’m feeling ripped off!

Order a sectional couch in July. Told it would be delivered in a few weeks. Got a call back ordered and moved out another month. Paid for shipping as well when I thought it was to be free shipping. Still waiting on a couch to come.. We sold ours as we never were told it would be months to get what we paid for.

Purchased a new adjustable bed from them and it’s been over a month and still waiting for a remote for it. Also missing 4 screws for the bed that they could go get from the local hardware store for about 20 cents. There is no communication from them. Haven’t heard any updates in a month. Will never go back to them.

I shopped Slumberland in Brookings, SD and had excellent service with Rhonda. She went over, above and beyond helping us. Unfortunately we were unable to find a sofa at that store but did find one in Marshall, MN. I didnt buy it that day so went back to the Brookings store to see if they could get one. Rhonda again tried to order one but they were out so she called the store in Marshall and I purchased it over the phone. I believe o spoke to a person named Jack who was also very nice to deal with. Thank you for the great service at both stores. I felt bad that Rhonda didnt make any commission on this sale.

I went in looking for a desk chair. Mary show me what she had, what she could order, how long it would take to get it if we ordered one that we where thinking about. We said we wanted to think about it. She said were here till 7 if decide. She was very nice and helpful. Its rainy here and asked if she had some plastic to cover it in case it rained on our way home. It wasnt long and she came back with plastic and helped us cover/tape it, and also helped us load it into the back of our truck. Will defanitly go back!!
