We were looking for a quiet place to spend one night while running from the snow and Laguna Vista turned out to be the right place. It isnt fancy and has very basic amenities, but definitely is a good spot to stop for a night or two.The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful (which is important to us). The sites were fairly level gravel spots and the utilities worked great. It is winter so most of the area was brown, but I think in the summer the surrounding trees and pond would look very nice. The laundry room was very clean and inexpensive. The price with Passport America was incredibly affordable and makes it a good value. Not a resort, but still a nice little park to rest (even though it was off a busier road, it was nice and quiet). The town of Marshall is only about 15 minutes away and has most services you would need.
Quite place to stay. Good wifi. Owner keeps it clean.
Very affordable nightly rate. Flat and level caliche, no mud holes. Easy in and out pull thrus. Exceptional Verizon service. The host said there’s a Verizon tower 500 feet away lol. Park WiFi was fast and furious, clocked it at 25mbps on the ps4.
This is a very simple RV campground. The management was very relaxed and we came in late but he had it all arranged for us via our phones. It was very quiet during the night. There is a nice laundry room which we did not use. There are two men and two womens restrooms off the laundromat with clean showers and toilet. It is very accessible right off the main road.
Nice little park with a small pond. Excellent WiFi. 4 bar Verizon service. Would stay here again.
Friendly staff, clean, lake for fishing (catch/release,) far enough off of highway so theres no problem with road noise, long pull thru sites, reasonable rates, easy in and out
Small gravel lot with pond and ducks. Ok for overnight. Right off highway tho it was quiet. Host was very nice!
Clean park. Quiet and great for overnight or a few days to visit the Marshall area.
Fine for overnight. Gravel sites. No pool. No restaurant nearby. Pond adjacent to property was not accessible. It was posted “no trespassing” and gate was chained and padlocked. I didn’t check with manager though. Might be part of RV camp. Trees on one side, open field on other side. Two middle rows are pull thru. Some rigs have been here a long time and showing deterioration. About 2+ miles off I 20.
Its an rv park. So FHU and strong wifi. Great. Accepts Passport America.
This park is clean and spacious with large sites. Can receive 31 channels with antenna. Has a pond with great fishing, shaded area to relax in. Laundry is very clean and well maintained. Owner is very nice and helpful. Passport America is accepted. Shopping is close by and convenient. I would recommend this park for anyone looking to relax in a quiet setting. Has on site showers that are very clean and well maintained.
Beautiful place with a pond, ducks and fishing. Pet and kiddo friendly. Owners are friendly. Anything you need the owners are on top of things. Only thing bad or no wifi. I live, work and play using wifi. Without it makes life a little hard for me. If vacationing and need a place to relax try Laguna Vista RV Park
I was in Marshall for two weeks for work and I found this park to be the best deal in town to stay. I rented one of the owners fifth wheel campers that he rents by the week. The park was completely peaceful and quiet, with no drive by traffic at all. Its a short distance from the highway but is tucked out of sight. Great place to stay, the owner was very friendly, and he runs a clean campsite here. I would definitely stay here again.
Great stay, quite and cozy area.
This is family owned RV Park that we stayed with our kids for one night. It is quiet, clean and close to highway. We are 46ft 5th wheel and it was easy to get in and out. We had a pull thru site with 50 AMPs, sewer and hookups. The owner honors Passport America discount. The owner is friendly and we saw him constantly working to keep the grounds neat. Next to the pond which is fenced to keep kids safe, there were couple small play structures for kids. When we were there, the park was pretty full so seems like many people like it. Will be back when passing through the area.
Great Overnight Park. Very clean, friendly staff. Also has fenced dog area! Easy access off of Hwy 59.
Staff was friendly. Small park but clean. $42 for two nights with Passport America. Gave it 3 stars because it shares a small road with a business that has a lot of semi traffic. Be careful turning off the highway because the road there is one lane with fences on each side. No room for you and another vehicle or more important a semi.
We stayed here for one night while traveling. The location is great for those traveling I-20. The location is exactly five miles off the interstate. The park is quiet. The sites are gravel however there is quite a slope on the lot. You will need leveling blocks on one side. The park is very new and once the young trees grow there will some shade. The owner was pleasant and very accommodating. This is a good place for a one night stay and we would stay again if the opportunity presents itself.
My daughter & I have really enjoyed our time here at Laguna Vista.I cant say enough about how nice the owners are here at this property. Anytime we have needed anything or just simply met in passing, they are always friendly & quick to say hello & ask if everything is alright. They have movie nights with popcorn & beverages in the summertime and we recently attended a chili cookout with cornbread & fritos while enjoying a bonfire & a great group of people. This is our third visit here & we have been able to rent the same cabin the last two times & the first time we rented one of his travel trailers. Whenever we are able to take a little vacation, this is our go to place. We never had an issue with our place & the cabin is very clean & modern with all the amenities including washer/dryer hookups. They do have a very nice & clean laundry facility with a few bathrooms that have showers & toilets. We take walks around the park & have fed the ducks that live in & around the pond and we liked watching the cows when they are out in the pasture grazing. If you stop in, be sure to feed Buttercup she loves her carrots & sweet potatoes. If you are looking for a relaxing, quiet atmosphere with a small town feel, I highly recommend Laguna Vista.I want to thank Mr. & Mrs. Gifford for another enjoyable stay.
Very clean and quiet. It is NOT a campground for the family with stuff for kids. It IS a good place to stop for the night, a couple of days, or if you have business in the area. It is mostly a gravel parking lot but the sites are level. All the longer term RVs are well kept and there is not any junk around. It does have a small lake to fish in, a dog run and some small kids play stuff. The restrooms were clean and laundry is 1.75 each for washer and dryer. It is NOT wheelchair friendly if you need to use the restrooms as there are only stairs. Owner/manager was very nice and friendly.
Great. Nice owners. Sites are close together, but nice dog walk area. Good for overnight stop.
Great place to relax and unwind if your in the Marshall area. Quiet park located a short 2 mile drive off exit 617 on Interstate 20. Plenty of room to maneuver our 40 5th-Wheel. Sites level, and all utilities excellent. Antenna TV gets great reception.
Very much enjoyed our evening here! The owner was extremely helpful very courteous. We had a lightbulb out in kitchen. He went in town to pick up his grand daughter and stopped at an auto parts store to pick us up one. Wow, now that’s going out of your way to provide guest services. Was a really unexpected surprise when he brought it over.Very quiet and enjoyed his pond. Would definitely stay again.
The children loved it!I am a teacher at an elementary school and I organized a daily trip to Laguna Vista RV Park Inc. with my students. The children had a blast, they learned a lot about nature and had an amazing time. Most of all, I am thankful to the owner of the RV park for helping me organize everything. We will definitely make another trip in the near future!
Stayed overnight. It was a nice peaceful place. I liked watching the ducks in the lagoon and the cows at the farm next to the park. They have a dog run. Bathrooms were rustic but very clean. Manager was very helpful.
We pulled Into the campground right in front of an unexpected freeze warning! The owner went to Wal Mart and got insulated pipe wraps for several of us. She was so helpful! The laundry and bath houses were new and super clean! This is s great little RV park.
Great place to stay for work.. has a fishing pond catch and release
Perfect for a quick stop! Open 24 hours and the owners are super nice! Easy to get to and the pull-thru site made our set up a breeze! Cute little pond! Thanks! I would defiantly recommend to others who are passing through!
Very nice owner. Enjoyed our stay!
Great park. The owner greeted us when we pulled in late at night and helped us park. The park is quiet with a lake that has ducks, cows, and cranes. Well set up park with easy pull through that are wide and long. I recommend this place to everyone.
Very well kept. This parkRk caters to a lot of workers but it doesnt feel like it. Full hookups with level spacious spots. On the way to everywhere.
I was very sick and was efficiently diagnosed, treated and prescribed medication. I waited less than an hour and there were 5 people ahead of me on a Sunday. The meds prescribed were what I needed and felt better the next day.
Owner was awesome and friendly. Sites were gravel and fairly level. Bathrooms were clean. Was able to create wifi hotspot with my cell. S13
No toilet paper, on purpose! Note from management complaining about stealing. Certainly NOT sparkling clean. Bare gravel lot. Paid $35 for 1 night. No bargain here.
A great campground. Stayed overnight. Very accommodating. Would stay there again if we need a good camp.
Very Nice location for one nighter passing thru...easy access to us 59/69....restrooms and laundry room nice and clean. Gravel sites and fairly level. Paved sites would be a five star rating.
Wonderful, quiet, clean and the owners are the sweetest couple. I love it here! I would recommend it to everyone!
Excellent place to stay very well run clean and safe
William the owner was very nice & friendly. Recently graded the lot so it was pretty level. The Wi Fi is the best weve had in a few weeks on the road. I would definitely stay here again. Quiet place on pond with ducks & cows. Its a PA, so makes it even better! If going to be in area, check it out!! Laundry room with showers & baths. Great quiet place with very friendly & helpful owner! Stayed here 5/11/17.
Very friendly staff. Basic camping no frills, but good for an overnight stop. We have stayed here several times and will come back again.
PA rate $17.50 pn. Nice little pond. Actually a graveled slope to the pond with RV hookups. Our power went out and the password we were given did not work for the internet. We believe this park to be a work in process by the owner, who was very friendly. It took us a while to get our Motor Home level. Best advice is to level manually as our power system could not get us level.
Clean bath house and laundry matDog friendly with dog runFriendly ownersOverall, quiet and mature atmosphere
This is a large parking lot, completely gravel. Our site was fairly level. WiFi weak to non-existent most of the time. Road noise from Hwy 59. Duck pond, fenced off,can be seen if you are in one of the sites adjacent. $20 per night.
A great place for an overnight stay. This is a Passport affiliated park. Sweet Lady runs it.
Laguna vista is one great rv site for stop and relax! The best RV Park i had ever been ! Highly recommended !
Beautiful and not expensive park ! The owner was so kindly with us, he helped us for everything ! Highly recommended !
Hello I am the owner of this rv park, and I have had some reviews that are legit and some not.1: my power only goes out when the power company is haven weather or other related problems, if power goes the park internet goes as the modem needs power.2: another bad review was done because client was trying to run a car wash business inthe park, so when I informed them about that rule which is posted and verbally given at check in time, they became upset.3: the leveling problem has been addressed, it: was a very legit complaint.4: I appreciate every customer that comes in, and go the extra mile to please, when ever possible.
Super nice owner came out to meet us on arrival.
No frills, good price. Great overnight stop
I would stop here again!
My Husband and i stayed here on 5/3/2014 it was a Great place to stay and we would highly recomend this place ! Very quiet and loved to sit by the pond and watch the lil baby cows running around . Great for overnight stay.
Only slept for a few hours, but it was a good sleep.
Gavel parking lot, no trees, no grass, no pavement. . Ok for one night, I would not want to be traveling with children and stop her. There is a small lake, with cows.laundry room and showers are clean.
Close to town, but it has that country feel.
