Brought Rick in after he was referred by a coworker as doing good work and being a straight shooter for a job consisting of building a couple interior walls, a closet and some finish work. He said this would be straight forward and work that would be good for over the winter months. Rick told me hed be in touch with an estimate. After two weeks I reached out and he told me had been busy and that hed have it done and to me over the next three days. Another two weeks go by and I emailed him to ask about the quote and this is the response.Hi Rob,At this time I would rather not bid on this project. This project is not what I am set up for.Thank youRickIf you read his website, it is what hes set up for.If he didnt want the business he should have said something a month ago when he looked at it. That would have been fine. Or even after two weeks, if hed been busy and didnt have time again another opportunity to say that and we move on.So I wasted a month waiting on his quote for a job which he said would take a couple days.
