The management that runs this place is the best around. This is one of the cleanest and well setup Star Markets Ive been in. During the pandemic it was also one of the most well setup and organized systems that Ive encountered while shopping. The produce and fruit sections are great and stocked with hard to find things. Produce is usually very fresh but like with any store, every once in a while you get a bad apple.

Great store, open till 10pm on a Sunday, thank goodness! The produce selection was excellent and high quality! Easy to find everything, well organized! Bathroom was clean and staff was courteous, definitely recommend this store! 💯

They did not have the cubes of Mountain Dew? Their sale was by 2-12 pack get 2 free. So 4 12 packs cost you over $16.00 dollars with deposit Thats definitely no sale!!!

First off, I love the cleanliness and the quality of products in this grocery store. I also want to say how there are some very friendly faces I see there frequently, like the two guys at the fish market who always brighten up the day.However, after today I’m horrified at how I was treated by a man who appeared to be the store manager. I’m a frequent customer who shops here 2-3 times a week. That being said I normally have a smaller cart of groceries, and today I ended up with more than I anticipated. I went through self checkout(with no line might I add) as a habit, and started to bag my groceries when a bald guy yelled across and asked me why I felt the need to go through self checkout with more than 10 groceries.. The woman next to me just stared and I felt extremely uncomfortable and attacked. I didn’t even know what to do or say at that point and he just said after that incident moving forward. I just shakily bagged my groceries and kept my head down while he stood there “on guard”.He could’ve came over and said it without an audience and I would’ve understood more but the public humiliation tactic was unnecessary. I work in healthcare which can be challenging at times like any other profession that works with lots of people, but there’s a way to address situations professionally. This pandemic has shortened all of our patience but try to remember some kindness and respect. Disappointed because I always respected this store until today.

Based on price and availability, this location is our go-to supermarket. We also shop at Trader Joes and other places, so Star Market is mostly used for items on sale or not available elsewhere. On our most recent visit, it was busier than usual but was able to find all the items I was looking for and check out rapidly. The sale price on some items were quite compelling.

Theres never enough stock of anything, the shelves are always empty, especially if its on sale (which really just mean the price it used to be). The produce and meat are over priced and terrible quality. I really need to shop somewhere better.

I like how every sunday they bake a bunch of bagels an sell them 12 for $5. There soft delicious an come in bags of 4 so you can get 3 different kinds for only $5.

I am giving 3 stars to Star mkt because the store is clean. The number & variety of products has decreased so much that it really should have 2 stars. Putting a coffee shop (with seating) near the produce dept is foolish & a huge waste of space. Off the top of my head I can think of 5 products that werent stocked & there wasnt a spot for them on the shelves, so I know it wasnt because they were sold out. I have been keeping my eyes open for them & other items I used to get, but apparently its more important to put a fancy fake wood floor & a coffee shop near the produce & deli departments, then to actually sell products people go to the market for. Dont you go there to buy groceries? Who wants to hang out under the bright lights in the middle of a supermarket & have coffee? The carriages dont have cup holders like some other markets do, so it isnt there for you to shop & have coffee while youre shopping.Whoever thought taking products off the shelves & putting a coffee shop & tons of just open, unused space instead, might need to be demoted or fired.

I love this place, the staff is awesome and the store is always on point with being organized, and shelves full. Lines move and they are always clean and efficient with everything.

I have mixed feelings about the evolution of of Shaws/ Star market over the past 18 years. That said the deli has always been excellent, the sea food department has never given out poor quality items. The meat department is fair to midland, same can be said for produce department. Over the years the selection has become limited due to the shift to Stars Signature brand.

All the employees are extremely helpful and walk you to the aisles or describe where it is. I went to target yesterday in kingston and it was the extreme opposite. But this place is great

This Market used to be excellent, with good produce and fruit, they have cut the produce section in half and installed a Starbucks. After traveling the East Coast and shopping, I could buy avocados for under a dollar. At Star Market in Marshfield, Labor Day weekend avocados were $1.70 a piece. International Foods has been gutted. Too bad, very sad...

Good sales on weekends and rewards program fairly simple. Promotional game like Monopoly is a big time suck with practically no benefit to consumer. Just for U is basically using your own rewards to save on items they make you think are on sale. Don’t like the mix and match, very confusing! Unless you want to get 6 products that you really only want one of!

Star Market is a partner of Shaws so they have all the same sales and deals. This is a clean, well stocked branch that also has an Osco pharmacy inside the main store.

The store was very clean. Set up for social distancing due to Covid19. I felt at ease being able to purchase my groceries at my own pace with little to no anxiety. I have to take a moment to say Kudos to the gentleman working in the meat dept. His name was Dave. Dave was extremely polite. He answered all of my silly questions without hesitation and insisted that silly questions do not exist & If I needed anymore help to just ring the bell and hed be more than happy to help me with anything I needed. Sweet right? All in All I can say this was a very enjoyable shopping experience and I highly recommend Shopping here.

At this point I can only provide 1 * . the changeover from plastic to paper is a good change over, however, Star market has not implemented handles on to the paper bags and insist that the handles are no good. so now, I have to bring my trader Joes bags in, paper bags that have handles and handle a lot of weight!

Recently updated. They even put a Starbucks in it. In a town dominated by Dunkin donuts not sure who theyre catering to. Good prices.

This store is filthy...!!! You would think, with the remodeling, that the managers would keep the place cleaner. I honestly dont think the hand held shopping baskets have EVER been cleaned.Meat dept. is always dirty as well as where the milk is refrigerated. EVERY conveyor belt is dirty too. I have been going to this store for 8yrs... God forbid one of the bald managers look up and say hello. Very disapointing.

Meat department isnt well organized, shelves need a cleaning. Didnt have proper signage for sale items. Always enjoy the deli though, they have a nice selection, clean counters and friendly staff.

Love Star Market I am also loving the my mix app Im terrible with planning but I can scan items as I go around the store to see if there is extra savings coupons also love the contest they do I have a full set of Rachael Ray dishes a set of Cuisinart saucepans and a set of Farberware frying pans and knives all for doing shopping that I would have done anyways.

I was buying a $30 floral arrangement but the bow around the vase was ripped because of the staple from the price tag. The woman in the floral section said she wouldnt change the bow for me. Didnt end up buying the flowers because of it.
