This location usually only has only 2 registers open and you can only use self check with a limited amount of items. Employees could be more nice and helpful too. Only went to this location because we were in the area. I usually drive to another city to go to Walmart.

Place was what you can expect out of a Walmart. Messy, rude customers and clueless floor employees. Prices are cheap, but so is the shopping experience.

This store hardly ever has the up escalator working, elevators never work consecutively which is necessary to shop the entire store. It is one of the only stores that I know of that dont provide alcoholic beverages. I rather take the extra miles and drive across the bridge to Solano County.

For the first time I used their pick up option shopped online and just arrived at the time designated and pulled into a pick up stall, and a Walmart employee came out with my groceries items loaded them into my car the process was seamless. Let someone else do the shopping for you. No lines or baskets, no crowds, I love it!!

I didnt go into the store, just came to pickup an online order which was pretty pain free. The other people I came with did go into the store and came out shortly after seeing how all the lines were super long.

Im giving this Walmart location four stars overall, but my last visit here had some significant inconveniences in regards to checking out.Their self-checkout machines were open, but only accepted cash. This caused more traffic in the cashier line.Despite this, there were only 1-2 cashiers working at the time, making for a 10-15 minute wait to check out.My other experiences at this location did not have any checkout issues, and every other aspect of the store meets my expectations for what a Wal-Mart should be.

Its a Walmart. All the prices, and weirdness youve come to expect. The only issue is they have a lot of things behind glass. Pushed the button for help and waited about 15 minutes. That was odd. I dont expect everything to be dropped to help out but thank God my kiddo wasnt with me. The wait would have driven her little three year old mind to the brink.

Clean. Friendly employees. Its nice to see the shelves stocked and being stocked. It is unfortunate that so much has to be locked up though. This makes it tough to shop. I feel when you have to wait for an available employee to come help you get something out of the cases,you need to know what you want right away so as not to hold them up too long. There isnt time to comparison shop. Overall this Walmart is by far the best in the area.

Poor management, actually a con artist manager here in the Martinez Walmart… during the Pandemic, they needlessly blocked returns, then regulated them to specific and inconvenient hours 10-5 ( no other Walmart did that) and today ALL RETURNS are BLOCKED, no reason was given, when I asked for the store manager’s name, the Associate clammed up… like it was a BIG lie that they could not back up. It was good as always staff very nice but they seem under staffed and by my understanding only get paid 14$ no over time. The lines are ridiculously long and everything is locked in plastic boxes and its hard to get someone to open them but understandable as i said due to very low staff

AUGUST 4, 2021! Arrived at Martinez Store 7:15AM. Google store hours as well as website store hours are losted as being Open! We were blocked from entering the store and was told they open at 8AM! Why arent these hours posted more clearly?! I drove from San Francisco at 6AM with my 3 children to exchange a few items and after such a long drive it is very upsetting to be turned away due to misinformation! Secor hours are clearly posted on their website & Google as 6AM-7AM! And checking these times yesterday & again this morning this store is listed as being Open right now!!! Also, i dont appreciate the door man suggesting to take the kids to McDonalds. Especially while they are on a strict healthy diet to avoid diabetes which runs in ones family. Including that feeding 5 people in San Francisco is extremely expensive, as well as rising mortgage rates. And the ridiculous Gas Prices?! Some people dont have money to just throw at McDonalds.

This is your typical Walmart, not something to write home about but not terrible. They’re usually well stocked in items I need and have friendly employees. There’s not a ton of parking right by the building but across the street they have a large parking lot.

Walmart is just like Target except wider selection of auto, paint, garden & TOYS! SO MANY ISLES OF TOYS🤪😵. Hit or miss with clothes sizing but a lot of the styles are cute. Did I mention(?), toys and tech galore. Great prices for home accessories and decor. Even a good selection of garden needs. My hubbys a mechanic and finds tons of better deals on necessary items in the auto dept compared to any autoparts chains. I can even skip home depot if i need paint, most indoor or outdoor paints at Walmart as well, a true 1 stop shop i suppose. Majority of employees are always busy but personable & helpful! You just have to be extremely specific & listen well 😅😊👍🏻.

This is the walmart store closest to my house. I enjoy shopping there but never thought of doing a review. My most recent visit I found a video game that regularly goes for $130 online or at other stores even the walmart website, but I guess my homestore had both variations for $90 brand new sealed box. Sometimes stores sell the same items at different prices due to its stock and exclusivity around the area. I got it but I had to wait like 15 minutes because there was nobody in the electronic area that could open the door for the game.

Deserves zero stars. The employees are NOT helpful and do the least amount of work possible to get by.Don’t bother calling to ask if a product is in stock - the lady at customer service will just say no she won’t go look and then leave you on hold for the rest of the day.I will never shop at this location again. This place gives me the feel of an unfinished Walmart, especially when you walk in. I cant put a finger on exactly what about it gives me that vibe. The staff(till) are friendly but the self checkout ones just seem bored. Its not a place I think to go unless I really need to go for something specific.

Store has seen better days, and showing signs or wear. Hard to navigate the aisles with all the merchandise piled there, and random things are behind locked cases due to high theft.

Walmart has fell completely off. I had to have an associate unlock the glass cabinet for a 3 pack of white t-shirts. She informed me they would be waiting on me qt self checkout. When I went to check out I pointed out to the cashier where my shirts were and she said those arent yours, their for a family or something I had to run around the store to find the original associate and she had to go to self checkout to convince the cashier they were my tshirts. Horrible setup, horrible customer service, empty shelves. Never again!! Go to Target, its 10 times better.

Went here for new glasses .everyone there was super helpful and kind. Was able to get in for a vision test right away and ordered my glasses all in the same day. They made I got everything ordered with what I was looking for.

What can you say about a Walmart, especially a Super Walmart like this one. They have a huge selection of just about everything from diapers to donuts and holding tank additives. There service is pretty good as long as you arent expecting any department level knowledge. They have a pretty efficient customer service center which is good. There fresh food here is also pretty tasty.

I went to this WalMart because I saw on the Walmart Website that a particular tv was available here and for a certain price. When I get there, the tv was priced $100 more. When I asked for help, it took 15 minutes for someone to answer my question about that. Eventually led me to the manager, I showed her WalMart website, the price and that it showed in stock there. She started giving me attitude for no reason at all and refused to help me any further. I walked out really upset. I forgot the managers name or I would name her on here. Ill never shop at Walmart again.

If you plan to return anything, be prepared to stand in a special line in between the entry and exit main doors. 2 to 3 employees telling at you to atand in exactly the right precise spot. Feels like Im in army basic training with drill sergeants yelling at us.

While the employees were very nice, from the observation of many Walmarts I have been in this Walmart seems that it needs to be better organized to match the vast majority. As you visit Walmarts there is a set up theme that builds a level of familiarity and comfort for customers. Aisles are also very narrow.

Good Walmart! It seemed like a a newer store. The carts are not located properly, they are not present where they usually go. The home office/copy paper aisle is not organized or restocked properly. I had trouble finding them initially- One of the staff simply replied “I DONT KNOW” when asked where can I locate copy paper. I felt not welcoming.
