Today I had an experience at the Martinez, CA Security Public Storage that went exactly opposite of what I expected, and in a good way.I somehow lost the key to my storage unit. William, the employee on duty today, cut the lock off the unit as soon as I asked him, and did it at no charge.Sound commonplace, you say? Far from it. What I expected was for him to tell me he would have to call a locksmith, and being that this is Friday afternoon, I would have to pay an after hours fee to the locksmith, and also a penalty to the storage company. Nope, it was all free, prompt and done politely with no scolding and no drama.Now THAT is how it should be. Thanks, William...

The staff is very attentive and the facility is very clean and well kept! Alex helped me get into a unit and it went smooth and fast. I appreciate the security they provide and the prices are pretty good for the size.I only planned on getting a month or two while moving but the extra storage is honestly pretty nice so I plan on being a repeat customer!

The place is nice but there on site manager that lives there Isnt so nice. The ladies that work there are very nice and respectful any time I needed to use there restroom they would let me but for some reason the man that works and lives there and is the manager there tells me he cant let me use the restroom because of covid-19. I seen him not wearing his mask in the office the whole time I was waiting for him to get off the phone. For being a manager that lives on site he dosent seem to know what goes on there or plain dosent care. Because of him I feel like going some where else to storage my stuff.

The staff and manager are absolutely great! The location is perfect and secluded which makes it feel more secure & the prices are definitely the best around town. I shopped around with at least 10 other storage units and others were much more expensive and in questionable, unsafe areas. Definitely recommend this one!

Thus far, nothing to complain about. the person who signed us up at first was polite and helpful (if a little difficult to hear at times :b ). Were thrilled about the alarm systems here; it seems reviews for every other storage facility in our area have at least one reported break in. It seems like they take their work seriously :)

Great storage place. I garaged my semi-classic car here for a year before I purchased a garage to house it. Car stayed clean and mouse-free. Clean drive-up units, good security, great on-site management. The location is convenient, just off highway 4.The driveway can be a bit tricky but I had no trouble getting a large moving truck in here, just watch out for traffic on the way out. Once inside its easy to maneuver, and you can park your vehicle directly in front of your storage-- no carts to wheel around like the warehouse places.If I ever need storage in the area again, this will be my first stop.

I never rent a storage place before. I needed for my tools. My main considerations were easy freeway access and security. Somebody recommended me this place and I love it! Access from 6am to 10 pm everyday, personal pin to get in AND out, very clean.

We stopped in here today on our search for a clean, secure, and affordable storage unit for our move. This was the first place we came but upon meeting the owners and seeing the space and units, we didnt need to go anywhere else. The customer service was some of the best Ive received from any business and we felt like all our belongings would be safe, secure, and clean. I highly recommend them if you need a unit in this area, and maybe even if its a bit out of the way, the distance would be worth it for the piece of mind and hospitality!

Its always a pleasurable experience when I visit Martinez Public Storage. Whether its to move stuff in and out my storage building or just stopping by to pay my bill. The managers and the folks that run the business are always so pleasant and helpful.....plus the place is so clean and rodent free! I say that because my last storage place wasnt! Also the location is perfect - its secure, close to home and has a great view of the historic BNSF train trestle and the beautiful Alhambra Hills.

The managers at Security Public Storage makes the experience of renting storage easy. The access hours are better than other storage facilities in the area.I visited other 2 other facilities in the area and Security Public Storage is by far cleanest and most secure which gives me peace to store my belongings here.

The Elderly Lady Is Extremely Rude And Not At All Helpful Or Customer Friendly ~ Tried To Overcharge For The Unit ~ Tells You One Thing Than Totally Goes Back On What She Told You A Few Days Before. Made Things Much Worse Than They Actually Were....Would Not Recommend This Place To Any Of The People I Know! Owners Should Consider Replacing Her As A Manager.

I love the new facility owners at Security Public Storage in Martinez. I have been at this location for quite a while and have had no issues. This facility is CLEAN, the office is ALWAYS OPEN during business hours and the MANAGER ALEX is PROFESSIONAL.SMB

DO NOT BUY BOXES FROM SECURITY! They upcharged my wife and I over 200% went we went in to buy boxes for a recent move, and wouldnt take a return when we found significantly cheaper boxes at OSH. They charged us $2.00 for a small box, $2.75 for medium, and $3.70 for a large box. For similar boxes at OSH, smalls were $0.85, mediums were $1.39, and a large was $1.65. If you bought one of each of these here, you would pay more than 200% over another local store! Go somewhere else if you want a better moving experience.

Security Public Storage in Martinez replaced the door to our storage unit when it was inadvertently damaged by a vehicle. Within the facility is a depository box for old clothing and shoes that we have found to be a convenient drop-off point.

The facility is clean and very secure.the staff there are professional,friendly and knowledgable about their job.the person who helped me was the manager of the facility jackie.she was very friendly,helpful,and very knowledgable about all the things i needed to know.she provided very excellent customer service,one of the best experiences i have ever had.thanks again.
