The wife and I were seeding our front yard roughly year ago. We were new to the Yuba area and were looking for a business who can provide quality soil plus deliver at a friendly price. We stumbled upon Darryl with Sand and Gravel by word of mouth. The phone didnt even ring twice and after a 5 minute conversation he already had us scheduled the next morning. Not only he was on time but the soil he provided made my Kentucky blue grass seeds germinate within three weeks (thats fast!) and now my front yard looks great. A year passed and now we are remodeling our backyard. I called Darryl again hoping for him to be able to deliver the same day as we have relatives coming to town soon. Not only he delivered but he also remembered my name!! I call that great customer service plus he gave me some tips on my front yard and how to get it prep for this year’s heat wave. Darryl is an extremely friendly and knowledgeable contractor. He helped me determine how much rock and bark that I needed for my landscaping project and he was exactly right on with respect to the measurements. His bark is such a vivid red that I have had other neighbors ask me about the quality of the materials that Darryl uses. Im getting ready to do a few more landscaping projects and I will be sure to contact him for my large scale outdoor endeavors. He is friendly, down to earth, honest, ( I cant say enough good things). I owned a landscape design and installation company in Sacramento for 16 years, so I have dealt with a lot of material suppliers. His prices are great, his products are high quality, and he delivers. I text him this morning, and he delivered this afternoon. He is just a friendly nice guy! And, hes the owner/operator, so youre not dealing with a bunch of people you dont know. Just have had a couple of really good experiences and thought Id share 😁

These guys are actually great. I use them for mulch, sand and gravel delivery. They are right on time and they dont try to cheat me by giving me less material than I pay for (like the last mulch contractor I tried). Overall good experience.
