I happened to be in town for the day for work and needed something to drink. Came into this little shop and gotta BIG surprise! The picture doesn’t do it any justice. Wall to wall memorabilia from all the classic Hollywood films we know and love! I think I’ll make the trip back one day!

My family visited this Capitol Theatre Saturday for the first time and it wont be the last. Gigi really took care of us, answering questions, etc. She was very sweet and made my sons day with special sprinkles! Cant wait to go back to this fun and friendly ice cream parlor for delicious treats!

This is the best place to get ice cream and blended coffee drinks in Maryville, TN. My family loves it here. I have personally tried a Hollywood Sunday with chocolate peanut butter ice cream. It was delicious. Ive also tried the raiders gold frappe. My boyfriend has tried the gremlin frozen drink. Equally as great. All the employees we have met are polite and patient....(their menu is pretty large if you have not been.) Everything looks amazing. They even have frozen hot chocolate and butterbeer!!

It has it all: great ice cream and coffee drinks, plus an atmosphere that must be experienced in-person. Every time I stop in I notice something new and I’ve yet to try something on the menu that wasn’t tasty. Truly a local gem.

This place was really neat so many cool things to look at while you eat your ice cream. I look forward to going here again. The icream was very good too.

Go get some ice cream from here as soon as possible!! Such a fantastic shop, wonderfully decked out with all the best fan memorabilia from Star Wars, to Harry Potter to Back to the Future and way more! And really yummy ice cream! I cant wait to go back!!

We actually got married at the Capitol Theatre and just love the atmosphere there. Stopped in today for a quick dessert. Had the Gizmo shake and it was amazing! Will definitely be coming back sooner than later to try more treats!

Made a stop in after our dinner about 10 min away after a craving for ice cream and what a great choice!! Did not even know this place existed but Im glad we looked it up. Beautiful decor on the inside to make it feel like an actual movie theater with themes at the booths and around the tables. Along with coffee drinks named after movies and ice cream treats that sounded amazing. After looking over the menu, we finally decided on the Double Feature sundaes (vanilla ice cream with a Ghirardelli chocolate Square and chacolate sauce along with plenty of peanut butter mixed in.....PERFECT. They came in old fashioned sundae glasses and they handcrafted them behind the counter. (Be patient, they go as fast as they can and they come out great! Kindness goes a long way.) So cool to just sit in and look at all the posters and chat or even sit outside. Go take a look! You wont be sorry!!

This is a must see! We came by this lovely little place when on vacation. As a mom of 3 boys, the decor was so fun! We got the king Kong ice cream, which had 8 scoops of your choice of 4 types of ice cream. It was very good and very sharable! The theater part was gorgeous and I wish we could stay to catch a show! This was my family favorite experience in the area so far!

Love love love. They have such a large selection from just coffee all the way to different ice cream drinks and everything in between. And if you haven’t just checked it out for the drinks yet, the whole movie throw back atmosphere is enough to make you want to go! I would definitely recommend for a family outing or just a regular coffee stop.

Wow. The ice cream is amazing, the theater is like a time capsule, and the concessions parlor is the funkiest, coolest place this side of the Smokies.

Awesome atmosphere and exceptionally friendly staff. The dozens of movie artifacts and soundtracks from various films playing in the background always give us something to talk about, and the food & drinks are amazingly good. This is definitely the best place to get ice cream in the area

Made a quick stop in after dinner at Barleys for our girls night out! Everyone ordered something different and we each had a sample of each others. We couldnt decide what we liked best! Such a fun place for us to end our night out on. We will be back if you can handle our long stay and loud laughter!

We go here often and love it. My kids love the ice cream and I love the different varieties of flavored frozen coffees and how each of them are named after movies. We love the scenery and all of the new additions that were recently added. I even called in to Q-100 radio station last week when they were asking listeners to call in and tell about their favorite local hometown businesses. I highly recommend

We go here as often as possible and always introduce others to our area with a trip to Capitol Coffee! It is the most unique coffee/ice cream shop, and they have amazing smoothies as well. If no one is renting the theater, you can go eat ice cream in there. Very cool experience and friendly workers!

My husband and I got married here. It was absolutely amazing .All the decor was beautiful and staff was amazing. Haley made our dreams come true on exactly what we wanted out of our wedding. Very responsive and there whenever we needed her on the day of our wedding. The Hollywood themed wedding was accomplished at this amazing wedding venue.

The Capitol Theatre Coffee & Ice Cream Parlor is amazing! There are endless selections for everyone at any age. They have over the top ice cream sundaes, espresso drinks, every candy you can imagine, and even butter beer! The environment is unlike any other place. Heath, the owner, has really gone above and beyond to make this place incredible and unique in every way. The staff is amazing as well!

Do yourself a favor and visit this cute place! Perfect for a date night or taking the kids for an afternoon snack. The food items are great and the decor is very neat.

This place is such a gem. Im so glad we learned of it. We will definitely be back. If you love movies or a feeling of yesteryear or just plain good ice cream or coffee, this is a must stop.

I love this hidden gem of Downtown Maryville. It’s a great blend of nostalgia and very tasty sweets. Not only is the ice cream wonderful (and cleverly named) the staff are incredibly friendly. If you are just passing through I highly recommend this stop.

I would highly recommend this place. The Hollywood Sundae was so very good. Very clean. What used to be a theatre is now used for events, weddings, etc. Very nice.

This is my go to coffee spot. They have my favorite coffee drink called the “Maryville Rebel”. And they have amazing ice cream!! I recommend the banana split! They are also very generous with their portions! And the atmosphere is so unique and cool!

When we brought our 2 year old here for a treat, the employee was so friendly and gave her an extra scoop of ice cream with a TON of sprinkles. She was so excited and we look forward to going back.

The staff is super friendly and the desserts are delish! We love the peanut butter chocolate ice cream, frozen hot chocolate, and the butter beer! It’s all good. If you are in downtown Maryville this is a must visit!

The last time our family was in we had ice creams and sodas. We arent big coffee drinkers ourselves but I love all the choices they have and fun names for all the treats. We always make a point to stop in at this place whenever we are in town. There is convenient parking across the street and its the perfect place for families, dates, casual meet ups, etc. There is free wi-fi and you can even browse through the rest of the business that is connected (gallery/event facility). The atmosphere is amazing and the people working are great. Definitely recommend as its awesome to support local small business.

If there is one place to visit in Maryville this is it. Delicious hand dipped ice cream desserts & coffee drinks made with care & flare, not the typical just throw it in a cup. The menu is Hollywood themed. The Raider’s Gold espresso beverage of praline & salted caramel was perfect, not too sweet, & hit the spot. I got mine frozen, but the drinks all come either hot, iced, or frozen frappuccino style. The drinks and desserts are decorated according to the movie theme. The movie props are unlike any other place I’ve been, definitely one of a kind unique ambiance. There is Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Back to the Future, Harry Potter, Ghostbusters & many other movie props & posters lining the walls & ceilings. If they are not having an event in their main theatre, you can take your dessert in there where they have movie sound tracks playing with a beautiful star lit curtain & silver tables. I’ll definitely be going back!
