Updated: 10/14/21I brought my brand new crate LS3 and t56 trans in to them because I wasn’t able to mate the transmission, bell, and engine up correctly. FabLab told me that I needed a longer $800 bellhousing and a new $580 starter motor. I waited 4 weeks for these parts. Erika (owner) refused to give me a lead time for the parts, so I would check back occasionally for an update. Several times she treated me disrespectfully and unprofessionally. When I finally got the parts back home, nothing fit in my car correctly. After talking to the transmission people, I learned that the new bellhousing that I waited 4 weeks for, was the incorrect size! To add insult to injury. The $580 starter motor that they sold me as “new” is actually a refurbished starter and the original starter fit just fine. I had to undo all their work and diagnose the original problem as an incorrect pilot bearing. A $20 part.Update:After many weeks of stressful back and forth, including Aaron calling me to tell me he was going to sue you into the ground over this review; FabLab eventually accepted the starter return for a refund. I wasnt able to return the bellhousing, so I will need to sell it on eBay.

I have a 93 Dodge Dakota that needed some repairs. FabLab was great to work with. We talked about what was needed and what I was wanting to accomplish with this old truck. The mechanic was very knowledgeable and able to fix or replace what was needed. He and his wife both communicated the status of parts that had to be ordered and how the repair was going. I was so glad I had discovered FabLab. I would highly recommend them.

Excellent service, explained everything, and was very detailed. I drove away with repairs that were done feeling very confident in knowing that not only was it done right, and explained to me completely but it was also a good price and I knew exactly what I had paid for. FabLab is great! They really know their stuff and also know a lot of people in the industry. I know they take pride in their work whether it is custom or if its mechanical. Ive taken my car there 3 times so far and referred them to 2 other people to have work done. I hope to not have any other issues with my current vehicle but know I can count on them for quick service and at an lower rate than any shop in the area.

I have had work done to my 2500 HD diesel twice at this place and they are professional. I will continue having work done on my vehicles here. They seem to do a lot of high end fabrication and motor work. I see a few high cars there too. If you want quality work and the best parts see these guys.

You wouldnt take your kids or loved one to a bad surgeon. If you want your baby ( car ) in the hands of first rate customizer/ fabricator/ mechanic than see Aaron. He truly is a perfectionist.

If you want things done right FabLab is the hidden gem in all of Cincinnati. Had several cars here and were all done right. There is no “upselling” and they stand behind the work they do. A+
