I LOVE PARTY CITY!!! They have all your heart desires for parties, entertaining, catering, decorations, etc.!!! Holiday dinners have me seating at least 20+ of my family members, which I thoroughly love. But the dishes, upon dishes, just get out of hand. What Ive been doing, thanks to Party City, is buy their premium plastic dinnerware. With the various patterns offered, you can get a different set for each formal, or even informal, dinner party.I used this option for the first time a few years ago at Thanksgiving. I had a houseful of guests, all of whom have never been at my dinner table before. The compliments I received were so flattering. When we finally sat down, my guests we shocked to see that the dinnerware was not China! What a major coup! Ive been using this option ever since.The plates, along with the flatware, and coordinating glassware, stemware, serving platters, everything possible in a collection, make beautiful tables, and are absolutely gorgeous for formal parties!We had an engagement party in our backyard some time ago, with everything from Party City! Here were some of the remarks! This could have been in a formal hall, Where did you get these place settings? Theyre simply gorgeous! You could NOT have had a more beautiful reception had it been professionally done!Party City is a monthly trip for me, and always will be.

On a recent Sunday morning I was there picking up balloons for a party. I asked the young lady helping me if she could give me an extra piece of string like the piece tied to the balloons. She told me there would be an additional charge for the string and I would have to buy a whole roll. There was a young man there blowing up balloons for other orders and I asked her could she just cut me a 2 foot piece off the huge roll he was using for what I needed, which she reluctantly did. Not very good customer service.

COVID CityI was in this store on 2/11 at about 6:00 PM and several (at least 5) customers were shopping without masks. I said something to 2 different employees and neither did anything. One of the employees ignored me and pretended they didnt hear me. The other said Oh really

Amazing staff. The store associate walked me thru the store to help find what I needed. One of the nices staff that I encountered in any store I have shopped in.

I actually went into the store to pick up a balloon order. I needed a few extra things and I have to say the staff was very helpful and friendly! Left the store with a smile. ☺️

Has everything you need for a party. Guarantee you will find it but alot of the stuff is over price. Even simple thing like a table cloth is much more. 2.47 for the 3 pack table cloth at walmart, at party city 1 is for 2.99. Nice place to shop if its the last resort.

Sometimes it’s a necessary evil to go there and they usually have ok selection but every time I’m there the staff is just miserable. They either need to do something to improve morale or hire happier people. Definitely not a party there!

A eye popping thrill ride of a store which can take you to a party land in one shopping! I think they could be more candid with making you feel more excited though. Something about the store seems disconnected yet afar and well this is a feeling I got every time spooky sort of! Other than that the check out I had a minor problem but the cashiers seem to keep up with all of it, mostly!

The store itself is fine, but I agree with others that the staff is miserable and rude. Heres an idea, if you are behind on balloon inflation orders, maybe the staff can come in early to catch up?

The staff is completely unhelpful and uninformative...i.ordered a costume online since it was not in stock being told I could return no problem. I bring it back to return because it is as cheap as they come and they told me I am not able to and completely rude about it. I never would have ordered this online if i wasnt misinformed to begin with. Never dealing with them again for costumes.

I like Party City as a brand and have been to a number of great locations. This one is easily the worst Ive seen. Cluttered, dirty, and the staff seems wholly disinterested. An unpleasant experience every time I visit.

I am seconding the review by Mike right below me. I never write reviews let alone bad ones but THIS store desperately needs to be reviewed by the higher-ups and I also hope that someone who can make a change from headquarters will read this. I am honestly so disgusted with my experience at this store I cannot even begin to explain how bad it was. Let me start with the manager who unfortunately cannot help himself but sexually harass every woman who walks in the place. I had the same experience last year with him and was actually hoping he would not be there again to make me extremely uncomfortable while I shopped but of course he was and this time he was really out of line, SO MUCH SO that I actually could not even concentrate on what I needed to buy because of his disgusting comments and had to LEAVE a full basket I had and go to another party city farther away from my home. I could not even stand him for one more second and actually did not end up purchasing about $200 worth of stuff for an upcoming party I am having at my house because of how obnoxious and horrible he is. This manager is more interested in getting my phone number than helping me find what I am looking for in the store! UNREAL! I could post all the horrific things he said to me but I am a good person and Ill spare this moron the embarrassment! On top of that... all the other employees except for one nice guy have a miserable mug on their faces and literally want NOTHING to do with helping anyone. When I finally did get some type of response from one of the girls she was nasty and very obvious that she did not want to be bothered with finding the balloons I was looking for. I understand its hard to find good help these days but THIS type of help is truly unacceptable and should be fixed immediately. I wouldnt be surprised if this store is doing poorly in sales because of the horrible customer service and the severe SEXUAL HARASSMENT by the manager. People from Corporate: Do yourself a favor and GET RID OF THEM ALL! I literally left my entire basket of stuff there and walked out because I couldnt take him anymore! I will never ever step foot in this party city in Massapequa ever again.

I was told that I could pick up a tablecloth that I found online at the store. However, when I arrived, it was not in stock.

Shouldnt even give it one star!! We drove 15 minutes because they told us they had a balloon my closest store ran out of... they should have checked!! Now both of us are completely annoyed because of false advertising. .. the store tells us the balloon isnt at any stores!! Why is it stIll hanging up taunting children. .. False Advertising at all the party Cities. .. Ill by through Oriental Express or Walmart. . Thanks for nothing Party City.

Has what you need at a cheap price

Very bad experience at this store. First we were intimidated by the security guard like we were going to steal the products, a heist of massive proportions. He literally said to get out of his way because he was going to turn on the aile we were looking at the products. What is that? We are the customers and we are there looking at the goods to buy it. Then we go to the cashier where there was no one on site to attend and help the very few customers there (by the way, its Black Friday and store is nearly empty). When she finally arrives the very hostile attitude makes everyone uncomfortable. Very umplesant customer service. We will Never shop there again.

This party city has got to have the worst customer service on Long Island, if not in the entire state of New York. I have been there several times and each time has been worse than previous time. The cashiers have horrible attitudes......like why are you here, bothering me? type of attitude! I hope someone from headquarters sees this review........ Maybe an undercover visit from the higher ups, so that they can experience this horrid treatment of their customers for themselves, would be a good idea. I would not be surprised if this store is not profitable and I losing money......... HIGHER UP: go visit your massapequa store.......you probably would not return. I wont!!

The employee Tina was rude to me when I asked her a stock question and clearly didnt want to stop to answer my question. I wont be returning to this store after Ive been buying Halloween costumes here for the past 15 years.
