This one on Cicero is updated like the Aldis in the city are. Very clean, has awesome selection, the candles are cheap and GOOD! No more bath n body works for me I can get 5 for the price of 1 of theirs!

Clean and organized. My only complaint was... There was 1 bunch of grapes out of the bag and you could clearly see the white mold, the worker put it back in a bag.

Bravo Matteson Aldi! My first trip there after the reopening was not that impressive. Todays trip I found exactly what I needed and a few other things. The produce section is outstanding. Very clean and spacious. The store was being restocked, but the aisles were not blocked or crowded. The cashier was pleasant... very happy with my shopping trip. I plan to stop in more often.

I have a weakness for Aldis. Not only do they have good prices, they have foods that are unique. I especially love when they get the German foods in stock. I only wish they would have more German food, year round. Im sure Im not the only one who loves this stuff; otherwise, it wouldnt sell out so fast. Please, please carry it year round, Spaetzle (flavored), Spekulatius, all of it. The store itself needed more than 1 cashier. Especially on a Saturday afternoon.

Did not have the wine I was looking for after I saw on line that they were selling it again.

This location looks much better after its recent renovations. The store itself is less cramped-looking and seems much neater too. I just wish that they had more cashiers open when its time to check out.

Recently updated and a great update, I might add. Staff is friendly and everything easily accessible. Those looking for healthier options might be pleasantly surprised. Not the old Aldis from the 80s.

I love the selection of products which are mostly imported at a great price. Dont fall in love because sometimes you cant find it again or maybe not for a while. There imported cheese selection is fantastic. We got two bags of cheese and cheese and meats for a party. We also got a great deal on boneless skinless chicken thighs which we grabbed 4 large packages. I find their produce less expensive than most and its fresh. Sometimes you can find really nice non food items also. I have to go up and down each aisle slowly or I light miss some fantastic, exciting things.

New. Fresh. Clean. Looks like a Fresh food Market.Update: the store itself is wonderful. However, the pickup online through insta-cart is horrible.There is often not a store clerk to fulfill the order and its serviced through insta-cart which relays and processed the order without the stores advanced knowledge. So your sitting their with no contact with anyone inside of Aldi that can help you. Im grateful Insta-cart instantly refunded my money. Ill just do my on-line ordering with Jewel Osco and Walmart.Meijer is also similarly as bad.

Good choices of food, most come in one size, so wider selection but less options in size and less popular tastes. Theyre good about opening another lane. They charge for their sacks, so bring your own bags or grab an empty box from the aisle. Youve got to watch the fresh produce: they leave it out until its really over-ripe almost moldy.

Such a cool place. Lots of delicious food. Never have had anything I didnt like. Friendly staff.

The employees at Aldi were very nice.

Places like this make good money but they dont put it in their workers. They need to have at least two or three people on checkout lanes. I wish that they had want people to be able to decipher through some of the dates on the products that they sell. Mostly the fruit isnt the freshest but thats not the workers fault.

The newly remodeled Aldi is well lit, so it looks very welcoming. However, some of the new staff members are not personable. The shopping experience was more like shopping at a family business prior to the staff changes. Though I can find some items marked down, the prices on several items seem to have increased. Ive recently started doing price comparisons with the other local stores while shopping at Aldi. Im still a weekly shopper though. I am interested to see if things will change, price wise, once the new grocery store in the area is open.

Ive shopped at Aldi for about 50 years, starting in Germany. I want to give this particular Aldi props for their response to COVID. (Although, to be fair, I assume this policy is being enacted at all stores.)They have a young gentleman at the door cleaning handles of incoming carts and all of them have quarters already in them, so you can be secure that everything is clean and safe.There are a lot of limits on products to make sure their stock reaches as many customers as possible. Yes, annoying but smart all the same.Shopping today, I was able to get everything I was looking for and in these times, that is a wonderful surprise.Kudos Aldi, keep doing what you do!!
