This CVS and it’s pharmacy are so incredibly horrendous, that I feel it’s my duty as a member of the community to leave an honest review.First of all, the pharmacy here is deplorable. They NEVER answer the phones, even for physicians and they are ALWAYS short staffed and running around like chickens with their heads cut off. The pharmacist is never available to consult with a customer and because they refuse to answer any one’s calls, if you go into the pharmacy, you’ll be faced with lines of 10-15 customers at the pharmacy pick- up window.Some customers depend on their medications for their livelihood - how is it that a pharmacy which people depend on so heavily in a small community is allowed to continue to function at such a terrible level of customer service and professionalism?Not only will they refuse to answer any phone calls, but if your doctor calls a prescription in that morning, there’s only a small chance they’ll even have it ready for you by that evening. They also run out of prescriptions constantly and are too busy to even check their delivery bins to find the refills for their customers. I’ve seen tons of customers at the pharmacy counter in the evening BEGGING for their prescriptions to be filled. Prescriptions they NEED to survive and still, this CVS refers them to Acton or Sudbury.When I called the manager of this CVS to make a formal complaint and state my deep concern, the reply was, “Our pharmacy is understaffed and too busy to answer calls or questions about medications. That’s just how it is - I don’t know what to tell you.”Incredibly helpful and professional, right?!My next call is going to be to CVS corporate. This has gone on too long in our community and we deserve a much better level of care and attention from our pharmacy.

The Maynard CVS now has zero registers open. Three people stocking. One self checkout theyre apparently forcing us to use. Ive been in there twice since theyve gotten the self check out and both times customers had to wait for help. The lines were ridiculous. Customers should not be expected to work at the store they shop at for free.

I have never seen a CVS pharmacy this poorly run. It often nearly impossible to get anyone on the phone. I recently watched the pharmacist berating his support staff for no apparent reason (maybe he was having a bad day). They recently cancelled my sons controlled substance prescription (on accident) and then told me I would need to call his prescriber to fix the problem (same pharmacist as the one yelling at his support team). When I told the pharmacy tech that I would call in to make sure the script was filled she responded with yeah, if you can get anyone to answer. Well, now Ive been on hold for over 40 minutes just to check a prescription status. This is just an example of the numerous ways this particular location has messed up my prescriptions and had abysmal customer service. Im DONE with this pharmacy! Im transferring all of my prescriptions to Walgreens.

Today I had the pleasure of being waited on by Jessica (or Jennifer?) In the pharmacy. She took my requests seriously and went above and beyond to help me. Cvs was amazing today, best pharmacy in mass is cvs in maynard!!!

Stopped going..rude..rxs always out of stock..get texts that rxs are ready for pick up..I get there and either they are not ready or out of stock..not a value store more expensive than other stores in area..I dont even want to give this store a 1..

I hate to say it, but for a while there, I was considering changing pharmacies, because I often found the service to be rude and dismissive. However, the ship has been righted. Jills the consummate professional and is always a pleasure to deal with, and Vicki (who I just met the other day) provided A+ customer service. They were really, really, busy, and she had the entire team calm, cool and collected. Keep up the great work! Chris

At least their lines are shorter than their receipts, which are 5 feet too long. tread carefully or you might walk over a midget. theres always a midget in here

The pharmacy is getting better since I started going here. The text notifications are a huge help for me. And they even call the doctor for my authorizations. I love the staff. They are always nice and pacience with customers is great too. The minute clinic is great as well.

Cannot say enough good things about the Pharmacy staff. They have gone far out of their way multiple times to ensure my wife and I have gotten the right prescription when we need it. Going the extra mile doesnt even begin to describe it. They and the group in Acton are the best CVSs Ive ever been to.

Been here twice for medications and each time Ive spent over half an hour waiting for what should be a fairly quick transaction. They have one person on register who cannot handle the volume of people and doesnt listen to customers when they try to assist. The other staff only occasionally jumps in to help. Just awful customer service. Ive already transferred my prescription to the Osco Pharmacy in Stow, because this is just ridiculous.

I’ve had both good and bad experiences at this store over the last 20 years, but they’ve overwhelmingly been good! The staff who have been working the front a long time are excellent! Their management though seems to change quite often. As for the pharmacy, Jill is my all time favorite pharmacist and has helped me countless times identify and address issues related to my own and my families medications and insurance issues. She had recently brought to attention the fact that a newly prescribed antibiotic was not a good choice for me while on another med and urged the Drs to change it ~ and when they repeated this error with a similar antibiotic (!!!), she diligently called both myself and the Drs office and did it all over agian on a day when I knew she was extremely busy! The med had no ‘official’ interaction warning with mine, but once I delved a bit deeper researching it I realized she was way ahead of the curve. It was a pretty obscure thing to know actually and could have been a life threatening problem for me. I cannot tell you how appreciative I am of her vast knowlende and incredible competence. Maynard’s CVS May not be perfect but I’ll be a loyal customer for as long as I live here!

Pharmacy staff is helpful, particularly Barbara and Jill. But this is the worst managed CVS store I have ever experienced. Its disgraceful. I have driven to Acton just to NOT have to shop here, and I can walk to this store. :-( Store is never well stocked. Magazines in the pharmacy area are always months out of date! Cough medicines on the shelf, 2 bottles and both past expiration. Very frustrating. Regional manager should make note and do something about this.

New to town and every visit to CVS Maynard has been awful. Ordered refills twice online days before picking up and was told they were not filled. Had to drop off prescriptions after being discharged from the hospital and was told they were too busy to fill them and I have to wait until the next day. If you need an emergency prescription filled dont bother going heres. The woman working in the pharmacy was very rude and blamed me for coming an hour before they close and that they are too busy to fill my medications. The customer service in the front of store is just as horrendous. Time to switch to RiteAid.

Im not sure if this is CVS in general or just this one. We moved recently and its the only pharmacy close to us. We used to live near a Walgreens which was far better. Twice now I have tried to pick up prescription and they are out of stock. Very standard meds. They dont bother to tell you that early. Prescription gets sent at 9 am. 6 pm I call and ask if its ready and THEN they tell me its out of stock. Walgreens saved my FSA so I could rapid pay easily. Not here. Ive had some unfriendly and downright rude people help me as well (not always though).

Customer service is atrocious. I got a text that my script was ready, pulled in and gave the clerk my deets, and have now been sitting here for 20 minutes without any explanation, while the phone inside chirps, One pharmacy call 55 times. And i did the whole toutine yesterday and didnt even get the script. WTH?!?!
