Thanks for helping me. Paula

The place my local hardware store sends me when they dont have what I need! Definitely geared for contractors. Call first and talk to someone to make sure they have what you want - and dont be surprised if another counter person thinks they dont have it until they go and check.
If youre looking for fixtures, absolutely come to this play. My wife and I are looking to get fixtures for our home, and Pam has been super helpful the entire time. She has been very prompt in email responses, and provided detailed and useful information as we try to determine which fixtures should go where and how to stay within our budget.Come here and work with Pam, shell make sure youre taken care of.
I happen to work less than a mile away, but I only use them if I have to. Not very customer orientated, and only one person seems to really know much, and hes not very approachable. Dont go there unless you know exactly what you need, and hopefully they will have it. Last option type of place for me...
Guy behind counter very helpful
Found they had a hard to get electrical part for a generator [right after Hurricane Sandy] and folks were great! Had a problem with one item - they took it back without questions and got me a new one.
This place caters to the trades. If you dont know what youre doing and what you need, youre usually not going to get much in the way of help although Ive seen otherwise on occasion. You can say thats unacceptable, but it seems to be their business model and it works for them. Theyve been there for at least the 30 years Ive been in the area.Im not a tradesman, but I know enough about plumbing and electrical to say I need two single gang old work boxes or whatever close enough to what an electrician or plumber would say to pass. I dont go there a lot, but many of the people recognize me and are friendly and helpful. Prices are not out of line, its often worth it to save a trip to Home Depot or Lowes, and they have things big box stores dont.YMMV
My wife wnt here to pick up a circuit breaker for me. The women behind the counter was incredibly rude to her because she didnt know the subtle difference between two square D circuit breakers Q0 vs. Homeline. It was like she was inconveniencing her. There was no one in line behind my wife.
As an electrician Twice Ive ended up at hardware store with success after stopping here first, once was at 428 pm on an emergency call as they walked out the door
I couldnt find undercounter lights that I liked.
Rude, difficult, and expensive. Would NEVER go again.
People are unbelievably rude here.
