Dont go to this pharmacy..you will be very very disappointed
Horrible! The only reason I use cvs is because the company I work for uses them as our primary pharmacy.
Not sure what has been going on lately, maybe they need more staff but the last two times I tried to reach CVS Pharmacy at Atlee I sat on hold for over 20 minutes each time without ever hearing from a staff member. Maybe they just dont answer the phones anymore at this location I dont know but its incredible unprofessional especially for a pharmacy. ANSWER YOUR PHONES, even if its just to say, were swamped, Im going to have to put you on hold & Ill get to you as soon as its your turn and now I know the phone isnt on silent or unplugged & that someone is paying attention...Its really that easy & youd be surprised how much longer people are willing to wait. This complaint is mostly towards corporate for understaffing their location but someone needs to teach the pharmacists how to customer service maybe.
Service at this pharmacy is absolutely abhorrent. When I got here 45 minutes ago I was the 5th car in line. I am now the 3rd car in line. I would just go in if I could, but I cant take my toddler and my high covid risk self into the store to stand in line for who knows how long. Id love to go to a different pharmacy, but this cvs is the only one covered by my insurance. They 100% need to make some changes.
Review for COVID testing: stay away. Go somewhere else. You will wait in line for over an hour even with a required appointment. Who knows when results will come back. You’d think a national brand pharmacy would have a better and faster system....
While I have the utmost respect for cvs Pharmacy manager Mary Pat who cvs corporate should see as their biggest asset at the Atlee Rd Mechanicsville Va store I have to grudgingly say. they put me thru hell this Wednesday lying repeatedly about my refill on medicine. Repeatedly !!!!! Lying to me. An employee named Z ( her real name ?) hung up on me as well as other things. Emily told me they were working on it but at 5pm I still havent gotten a call. Such a disappointment . cvs corporate also needs to accept responsibility that they have not made sure enough staff are available to answer phones making for many many many angry customers who will no doubt will move to more responsive pharmacies. So if cvs sees a fall in customer satisfaction and loyalty its their own fault for NOT meeting the demands and needs of their customers. Barbara Atkins
This might be the slowest CVS in existence!
My experience for this review relates only to a coronavirus test on July 17, 2020. I had an appointment for drive-up testing for 12:30pm and arrived on time. I pulled up to the drive thru as instructed by signage. Drive thru was only a single lane, and there were 5 cars ahead of me. After waiting over an hour and 15 minutes, I finally pulled up to the window around 1:45pm and the employee at the window, who was polite enough, apologized and said the computer was down. She then supplied me with a paper bag containing a swab, test tube, and two wipes. She instructed me that I would have to swab for a sample myself in each nostril while she timed me for at least 10 seconds on each side. Next I had to put the swap into the test tube, then break off the end of the wooden swab stick to cap the tube. Finally I was told to put the tube in the zip lock bag, and place the sample myself into the little plastic biohazard box attached to the outside of the building in the drive thru. I literally had to forcibly stuff my sample down into the overflowing biohazard container so it hopefully wouldnt fall back out onto the ground. Also, although the paperwork indicated a test result turnaround of up to 5 days based on demand, the young clerk who instructed the do-it-yourself covid test said it would be 2 weeks for my results. The whole experience did not inspire much confidence, and left me feeling uncertain and disappointed. I know CVS can do better than this. Thanks for reading, and please like this review.
This place has excellent service, great products both under their name, and those they sell, a great environment, and the management is beyond par. I love coming in every time to pick up a few things, because I feel at home here. Naturally, I would have to give a 5 star review for the great experiences I have here.
WORST PHARMACY DRIVE THRU EVER!!!!! Baby screaming, probably gonna run out of gas and the ac is now running warm. Been in line for 35 minutes now....
This CVS is dirty and the pharmacists are incompetent. EVERYTIME I pickup a prescription it’s wrong and you can never be connected to the pharmacy when you call about questions. Getting all my prescriptions transferred to Walgreens up the road. Save yourself some time and go elsewhere.
I placed A order for a refill prescription on Friday morning.i received a text that said it would be ready Saturday by noon. I went to pick up that prescription on Wednesday afternoon just to find out that the prescription still had not been filled. The pharmacy tech said that the medication was not in stock and she was not aware of when the medicine would be in stock. She also informed me that she could possibly call my doctors office to have them rewrite the prescription so that the available medicine that they had would be able to fill it. But who knows how long Dr. will be able to fill a prescription I needed the medication tonight. I called into the pharmacy and asked why I was not given a call to let me know that the medication would not be there when promised. I also asked if there was another pharmacy in the area that had the medication. They looked up a pharmacist and the one on Lakeside Avenue had it available within two minutes the Lakeside Avenue pharmacy sent me a text saying that the prescription was ready to be picked up. Why did the pharmacy on Atlee Road not communicate with me let me know that the prescription would not be ready by the promise time. This is a very serious medication. The customer service at this particular CVS is less than desirable!
Poor customer service. Messes everything up. Acts like I am an nonpaying customer. If my insurance did not have a contract with them, I would have say BYE to them. Unfortunately Big Pharma ALWAYS WINS! Even though their services suck! Go to another Pharmacy if you have the option. Dont waste your money or efforts. Trust me I am easy to please usually but cannot tolerate this.
Prescription called in at 10:50am. I called at 12:30 to check status and was told no prescription called. I contacted my dr. Who called me back confirming the6 had it. I drove down and then was told the computers were slow. Huh?...I’ll be going to Kroger from now on
Never had any problems, they usually have whatever Im looking for in Stock.
