My girlfriend and I shop at Sally’s. The woman who works at Sally’s I believe is a manager. She knows some sign language, we have zero issues communicating with her! She is always able to help us every time we come in! Wonderful store, wonderful people!
If you want to buy dirty nail files and used products, this is your place. Watched two employees decide a lipstick “wasn’t damage-able” even though the seal was broken, and the product was gross looking. I looked like someone smushed it into the tube and then tried it on. I also watched the same employees decide that a used nail file just needed to be “wiped off” with a dirty shirt in order to be sold. Turns out, the employee making these decisions? The manager. Absolutely disgusting, especially now, and I can’t believe they let it fly. Though, considering I’ve also brought home used hair dye and a dried nail polish, not surprising. Want the worst customer service and worst products? Shop at Medford Sally Beauty.
I thought I asked a simple question, next thing I know I hear the back door slam and people laughing like hyenas. I’ve had workers roll their eyes, scoff, and act irritable towards me before. Guess it’s to be expected when you shop somewhere that only employs beauty school drop outs and the ones that are licensed are too dull to do anything but retail. If you want help, go online. These people only want to sell you their commissioned products and if you’re not buying those, extensions, or some other big ticket item, don’t expect help from them.

There are a few ladies who will go out of their way to be helpful. Managers and the card services bank arent the same as for the opportunity to implement a system that works well for the customer!!
Seriously the worst customer service Id ever had! I asked a question and all the lady could do was just let out this heavy sigh like it was some kind of an inconvenience that I was even asking the question
Yeah I remember customer service.Only now instead of customer service the customer serves the worker and not only has to pay but also be punished.....Thats it you pay to be punished!!!
I went to Sallys at 5pm on Sunday, not knowing they closed at 5. When I went up to the door, there was a worker standing there and she opened it and told me sorry, were closed with a slight attitude. I replied oh, okay. Thank you. Then asked if they sell a certain product, thinking Ill come back tomorrow when theyre open to get it and she replied no, we dont and again, with attitude.I get it; Ive worked many retail jobs and hated when people came right before or at closing but wouldnt I give them attitude! I would get in trouble if I did! I would be polite about it even if they were mean. Never did I give her the impression I wanted to come inside even though they were closed. There was no reason to give me attitude like she did and Im very disappointed.It sucks because this is the only store in the Valley that sells the professional hair and beauty products so theres no where else I can go to get stuff like that - aside from driving all the way to Grants Pass and hope their workers have a better attitude
Went in looking for products to bleach and dye my hair, the workers were quick to ask if I needed help, and when I did, very helpful in helping me find what I needed. Thanks!
Its been lacking a bit during covid but they still have the essentials just sometimes they dont have what I need.

I want a Vespa
Just came to take my wife to look for one of her favorite hair brushes that was not in stock. Asked the cashier how much a brush was and she was sharp and said give me a minute and seemed to really be bothered that we came to shop. I will not be returning to this establishment. Learn some customer service skills. Expected better from Sallys.
Visited yesterday. Wearing my mask, opened door. Were at capacity, wait outside. Seriously? How about Good afternoon. There are 10 peoe in here, wed apprieciate you waiting till one person leaves while waiting, I counted 8 people. They were counting employees in the back. Then I go to the brightly colored semi-permanant hair aisle. Im looking for dye for my and my daughters very dark hair. I wait by the counter to ask which product would show up on our hair. They said just go with darker tones. Dont expect bright colors on dark hair.Great. Thank you for the obvious. Can you tell me which prodyct is best? all of them. I had promised my girls today was the day so I got the colors Violet, Blue and Teal. $35 dollars later and 3 hours, we have the exact same color hair. I know things are crazy right now, but there is no reason to not be kind.
Small store, great selection. I went here for the necessary items to bleach hair. I had a list of what I needed, and the woman that was there at the time helped me find exactly what I needed. She was courteous and didnt get frustrated even when I know I would have been.
The people there are nice but honestly what matters more is that youre getting your moneys worth when it comes to their products. And I have no problem with their products whatsoever. Plus you gotta make sure you get the right stuff and right amount. Yes there may be some employees that may not know about some products but its not their fault because they just work there to check out and restock products. If you want to know about a product Id recommend looking online or talking to a professional.
These guys are awesome, I feel so comfortable shopping there. Gender neutral in terms of responses and replaces. I want to mention Dyamy she was really helpful and excellent whenever I needed help. She has good knowledge of products and their affects (pros and cons) 👍🏻

Been coming here for years unfortunately due to lack of other options. I can hands down say they win the award for worst customer service in the rouge valley 10 years running or so! If you come here expect to find everything yourself and catch a few eyes rolls when its time to check out.
This business rocks and the staff rolls! I always get quality information that never fails to get the quality results I want with their products. They listen, dont oversell, and make worthy recommendations. They are not afraid to ask for help or get recommendations from other staff. They are also not afraid to say they have not had any negative feedback with a particular product.
As always happy with them having my hair products. And it was buy 3 get 1 free love it.
One of the employes told my wife that this lightener was safe and would not fry/kill my wifes hair. Well 4 am she up crying cus it killed my wife hair and now she has to shave it all off. Pos who told my wife that hope you get term
This is the 3rd time i come here and not even once this people asked me if i needed any help, today I was looking for a product and since the area where it was was closed i had to find the lady myself to get it, went a few days back wondering if they could help me with some hair dye and not even once someone asked me if i needed any help, there were like 4 of them and not even one! just left without purchasing what i wanted... the costumer service here sucks!!
Been going here for years, never have I actually been given accurate advice when buying hair products. I only suggest going here if you know your stuff, they definitely dont pride themselves on good customer service. I recently went to this location and was given awful recommendations not once but twice by a girl who is big, tall and blonde. Sounds confused whenever Ive asked her questions and she never gives direct answers.

There was a tall chunky white chick who probably shouldnt be working there (no clue to what she needs to know working at Sallys and her personality was horrible (rude & snobby)! First she couldnt even answer my question about acrylic nails, she said she didnt know much about acrylic, then when I said thank you she gave me a snobby look.. (Mad at me for asking her something she should know, come on now..) then She tried charging me more for the product by adding 20.00 to my total. When I was about to question the price, she tried to talk over me and the. Say clearly my correct total! I felt like she didnt want her short older looking Hispanic coworker see that she was trying to charge me more. Beezy must have thought I didnt catch that s**t. Then when I said Have a great evening she gave me a snobbish look! This is my fourth time coming here and each time was just a horrible experience its like these girls have no personality and cant even tell you the best developer and what volume to use to get the best results! Had to call Sallys in Redding to get the best answer for coloring my hair the second to last visit I was there!! They dont even deserve One star! My advice would be to get some younger and bubbly personalities in your store for better reviews!!
The store is pretty small, but they have pretty much all you need and the prices are reasonable. The best part was how helpful and knowledgeable the staff was.
So most Sally’s suck but this ones got to be the worst. The employees are either incredibly rude or the least knowledgeable people I’ve ever met(sometimes both). I’ve probably stopped by this Sally’s 5 or 6 times in the last 5 months and the best experience I had was when a fellow customer helped me. I’m never coming here again. I’d rather order things online then have to deal with the arrogant rude Unknowledgeable girls that work here.
HORRIBLE SERVICE. Went there to get some bleach for my hair and at first the lady was so nice and helpful! The next day I came in to return it and she was like a totally different person(she had green hair btw). She’s like “that’s why you do a test strand”(when yesterday she told me I can return anything if it doesn’t work! And they only have me half my money back? When I asked the lady why that was she got so defensive and rude. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Even the manager was so rude.
