Lanes are great. Staff is friendly. Neat little arcade too. Great bar! Large, lots of seating. Parking is big too.

Ive been coming here for years and its still as good as it was the first time. Friendly staff, good food, fun times. They even had bandaids for my daughter and hubby because they were getting blisters (its been a while since we bowled 🤭)

Dirty filthy place where no one wears a mask. Air is not filtered, place smells stale. Pro shop is run by some heavy set kid with no real skills on bowling or otherwise. No AC in the pro shop, smells like BO. Would NOT take my family to Lava Lanes, they dont care.

Very good pub grub and plenty of screens playing any game you want. Just off HWY. 62 between the Delta Center and Poplar Center. Plenty of lodging near by.

Mask mandate? COVID precautions? General cleanliness? Not here, thats for sure. Food was left sitting on tables the entire time we were there (at least 45 minutes). NO patrons (except for a handful of people) were wearing a mask. Employees spent the entire time just chatting behind the counter instead of taking any sort of initiative to make the place clean. Disappointing experience...

Great bowling and fantastic friendly staff! Came with my toddlers and grandparents, tons of games for all. This is THE place to go in Medford if you don’t want to wear a mask! They don’t pester you about the mask mandate at all and u can bowl in peace!!

It would likely be fun for all the gaming, but its quite dirty. I question the cleanliness of the glassware. Quite $$$ for drinks when there are better venues around town. Service was poor.

Lava Lanes is a good bowling alley. Its great for social bowling, family get togethers, and also for serious bowlers, like leagues, tournaments, etc.They also have a pretty good arcade area for the kids. Come for the bowling stay for the nachos!

Fun. Didnt win playing the gambling machines but we rocked on the Jurassic park video game shooter. We liked the arcade.

We love Lava Lanes and now theyre taking many measures to make bowling a clean and sanitized sport. They clean the balls after each use and wipe down the touchscreens and tables. They have even installed hand sanitizer units next to each of the stairs going into the alley.Thank you for being part of summer bowling program for kids and their parents.My 6 year old is finally starting to bowl without the ramps, but knowing the ramps for younger bowlers are available gave my boy the confidence to bowl and do a family activity together.

The young bartender was very helpful and patient with me; as I was new to the OTB system operating at Lava Lanes. I didnt catch her name, but, surely will on my next trip there!RFK

Overall an amazing day! Was my 5 year old sons first time bowling ever and he got a strike the very first time he threw a ball down the lane!! Proud momma!! The only thing that was a little off is the rental counter stuff was very slow like I felt like I was talking to the sloth from the movie zootopia at the DMV! Of course the lady is in the bar were super cool and speedy!!

First of all bowling is always a blast!! But this place is especially great. Many lanes and even with COVID restrictions we got right in. Bumpers and ramps for kids make this a must do for families. Plus the food is good. We went on a Friday so the street tacos and select beer were on special. After bowling we let the kids play in the large arcade. I think they had more fun in there than bowling. We ended the experience packing all five of us into the photo booth to solidify the memories. Can’t wait to go back!!

Customer service is poor, they tend to busy talking to each other rather than helping customer. None of the employees seem to be on the same page about things like cosmic bowling. Had to wait in the long lane twice because they failed to tell me you need a wrist ban for cosmic bowling after I had already paid and waited half an hour for cosmic bowling to start.

Great place to stop by for a cold beer and a bite to eat. Plenty of monitors to watch various types of sports or play a few rounds of bowling. Tim R.

I have so much fun and excitement every time I go. I love that we may have beer and such right by the lanes. Makes it so much easier!!!!

It looks like over half the lanes are closed, with no social distancing on the ones that are open. They have signs up saying that they require masks, but if you walk in without one they dont say anything. Would have loved to bowl, but at 2pm there were no lanes available until 9pm. Good news though the bar and video game lounge are open and crowded. 🙄

Just a little FYI for their Covid restrictions. Twice now, I have gone down to bowl and had to put my name on the list. Both times were 1 - 1.5 hour wait depending on how quickly people cycle out. The first time I waited 2 hours, could not get anyone to give me a heads up on time frame and I left. 2 hours for a 4 year old Toddler was torturous. Fast forward to last night... got there at 330pm, there were 4 names ahead of us, another 1 1.5 hour wait. At 445pm I went up to ask about an updated ETA... the list STILL had 4 people ahead of us... and no one had been seated. We hung out in the Arcade and by Front Desk. We watched at LEAST 10 parties turn in shoes and exit the facility with not one table or lane cleaned or someone moved into the lanes. The two teenage girls or at least young adolescents, seemed to have NO idea what they were doing. The one girl looked me dead in the eye at 445pm and said, Oh I havent done a head count in about an hour, I guess I should do that.. She promptly turned around and continued gossiping to her coworker. We waited about 5 minutes and then my husband went up to find out what was going on... she said the same thing. There were 15 lanes open in the middle of the alley. We were very confused. We called Roxy Ann Lanes even though we did not want to leave Lava Lanes. They had 1 lane being used and per state mandate they could occupy EVERY OTHER LANE. Not sure why Lava was different. There were 4 other parties that followed us over to Roxy Ann. We were placed within seconds at a lane, had a nice quiet alley and didnt feel like cattle. I have been going to Lava Lanes for YEARS. I live less than 5 minutes, but I think until they get their stuff together at their front end, I will no longer be going there. Along with every other guest that was in that lobby, which was about 20 people. They were unprofessional, and had NO care for their patrons that wanted to spend money there. Kids were sitting at the ticket area waiting for help from the two employees that thought it was gossip hour. People were sitting at the front waiting to be helped and other employees from kitchen staff had to walk over and point to the guests and tell them they needed help. Not sure those two girls should be working together! Ever!

There were 3-4 tables with half eaten food on them the whole time we were there, and was just generally dirty. The worst part was how sticky the floor was. The whole point of bowling shoes is so you slide on the floor. The floor was so sticky I almost fell over multiple times.

Had a blast with my family! We showed up earlier in the day and, caught blacklight bowling. My youngins loved it. We bowled a couple of games and, played for awhile in the arcade. Won enough points for a round of multi-colored vampire teeth! We will definitely be back.

Worst place ever. This was my first time there and they shoved 7 of us on 1 lane and refused to give us 2 lanes. The group of kids next to us were not wearing bowling shoes, nor arm bands, and they were vaping inside. I told a guy at the counter and he came over and talked to them they left for a second and then came right back. The place is a joke. I know I wont be coming back.

The website says 9:00 to 11:00 for cosmic bowling but Im pretty sure that was a covid thing its 10:30 to 1:00 now also I should have signed up earlier cuz it was packed by the time we tried to I enjoy bowling there though its harder to get bowling in cosmic now that covid is over

Busy on a Friday and the Carne Asada fries were yum. Bowling was slow until 7 or 8 so plenty of chance to get some early games in. Overall worth the visit.

I was with family and we were having a difficult time finding a place to sit and eat. We were soo happy to find this place. It was super open and had plenty of seating. The drinks were stout and not super spendy. Also the food was amazing and fresh. Definitely will be returning.

Affordable, fun and they definitely make it kid friendly. Big arcade area, lots of quarter machines. The lanes have bumpers as well as a little ramp for them to push their bowling balls. Nice portions for the food. Made a great playdate destination.

If i could give zero stars i would. We were put on a waiting list for bowling and never got called. we ended up sitting and watching for over 3 hours. Every time my husband would go and ask when we were next they had a excuses of why it was taking so long. we watched people walk in and get a lane and bowl hours after we were put on the list. Food sucked and our drinks were falt. Definitely not a kid friendly place!

This is a really cool bowling alley. Huge bar with tons of tvs and you can bet on horse races, apparently. They have a decent arcade, but its not great.

Really impressed with the kitchen staff after TERRIBLE customer service on the phone. I called multiple times and was not helped and I called to find out if the Monday night wing special was Dine-In only or Take Out also... I was told BOTH was fine... Which is NOT accurate they ARE Dine-In Only which is fine but when you call to ask so you can bring everyone with if need be BUT that was not what I was told. Eventually I was told to Just come down and order cause theyre swamped! So I did and when I arrived I was informed that not only were they not for Take-Out but that they were OUT OF WINGS! The kitchen seeing my dismay and frustration told me they could make frozen wings that would take extra time and they are not the same as the usual Monday night wings but we didnt care cause at least it wasnt a wasted trip.I have to say THE WINGS WERE AMAZING! They were just as good as the usual ones and the kitchen staff made what would have been a terrible experience around to a FANTASTIC customer service experience! I dont remember both the gentlemans names but THANK YOU AGAIN! It was a blond gentleman and a Hispanic gentleman I wish I had remembered there names but yall Rock!

Friday night tacos for $2 ... its a must.

We were seated in the bar area. Service was ridiculously slow, and terrible. Food was ok but the service has been terrible for years and only getting worse. We wont be back.

The manager Eli always makes it a great environment. He has made sure we were always taken care of when my family and I are around.

Our experience was horrible. We were put on a waiting list for 2 hours. We waited over 3 hours and they still didnt call our name so I went up to the counter and they said we were next on the list so we waited another 30 mins and in those 30 minutes other groups came in after us and they were given a lane and shoes right away.

No social distancing. Hardly anyone wearing masks. This is definitely not a good place to go if your looking for a fun way to spend your day and not catch covid-19. There are tons of places you can go that keep their facilities clean, keep social distancing and mask protocols in place, and keep you safe from potential risk. This is not one of those places.

We just had our annual Christmas party at Lava lanes. They did an amazing job providing a taco buffet, nachos, turkey wraps, chicken wings and unlimited drinks. It was the perfect environment for everyone and their families to enjoy getting together to celebrate an excellent year at Christmas time. Thank you Lava lanes for your hospitality..

First time going here. Didnt realize this place was so big. Lots of bowling lanes, arcade, food, bar, pool, lotto, and probably more that I did not even get to. Beer was well priced and bowling was reasonably priced. My son was able to bowl with bumpers and had a good time. Saw some people eating pizza that looked really good. Fun for all ages.
