Worst customer service I have ever personally experienced!!! The teenage employees did not know what foot ball was. Then proceeded to laugh at me. When the manager came over to ask what the issue was, I told him his employees were disrespectful. He told me I was disrespectful.. I told him I am the customer and did not appreciate his rude employees laughing at me for trying to get my son new football pants.I do NOT recommend anyone shop at this store. Employees do not know what they are selling and the manager is a rude individual.2 thumbs down!!! 👎👎

Staff was extremely friendly it was very clean on the inside there wasnt a bunch of people it was kind of stocked too much the roads were way too close together

I dont even want to give them one star. I ordered an inversion table 8 weeks ago and its still not in. They say they have no idea when there going to have it in. Now how can you have a idem for sale when you dont even have it in your store. Im very disappointed and Im going to look some where else. Even if it cost more money.

Very rude employees! I just went in today to check to see what kind of reusable water bottles they had, as I didnt feel like driving across town. I wore my offensively fake (fakemaskusa.com) mask and was hassled by the cashier that I needed to wear a real mask. I guess when it comes to being tyrannical fashion police, Big 5s employees are doing the Reich thing! I will not be returning to this store. I hope Big 5 goes out of business for enforcing such medical tyranny. Every other store I have been to, I have been to a lot of them, have no issue with my mask.

Checked the web on the way over and found a 20% off coupon. My grandson got new tennis shoes and socks and I got a pair of sandals. With the discount my sandals and 1/3 of the socks were free.

Hour listed on Google are wrong even though it says updated 7 days ago. 10am-6pm every day is posted on the door.

My boyfriend purchased some boots here and minutes after putting them on they broke. We called to ensure it was ok to bring them back and they said yes. Not even an hour later we were back to return them and the lady at the front was very rude. Making it seem like they couldnt return them and called her manager up. We had the receipt, the box, and the shoes. The manager was quite rude. Getting hassled over returning defective shoes is pretty ridiculous. He was eventually given a refund but it shouldnt have even been questioned.

I shop there forever mostly sports foot wear.

Just went in to get kids shoes for fire victims. Not only did every person instantly run and help but Kyle walked me over every shoe. We got the best bang for the buck. Walked out with almost 30 pairs. They took almost 1/2 off to help. They are and have always been a big name with a local feel. Thanks you guys.! Helped me put new shoes on some kids that had none on!!!

Called ahead a few days before, David was very helpful and knowledgeable about what I was looking for even though it was out of stock. Encouraged me that they had a shipment coming next day.Called two days later, Tim was not friendly over the phone, and Luke had same (sarcastic) wonderful customer service when we showed up and bought over $400 of merchandise. Sad.

Found a pair of nikes and a pair of skechers that felt good, those punks are rude and couldnt sell water to a whale. At check out the other kid talked bad about the skechers i liked. I still bought both with a mask on hiding my anger because they were comfortable. Dont think ill ever go back, my skechers feel great.

Manager was very threatening to a customer because his mask was down. He had a drink he was drinking and the manager said and if you think your gonna blame it on the drink your not even suppose to have drinks or food in here super demeaning. He definitely doesnt have any good customer service skills or some common respect.

I and a friend went to find skate board protection. 1st, had a hard time finding help, I believe the guy in charge, had no name plate, nor any indication, he worked there. I took the chance and asked him, if he worked here? He, replied, why, yes I do, nothing more, no may I help you, ECT! I, asked him a simple question, do you have skateboard helmets? He replied and pointed, right there, then rudely said bike helmets are the same. We, were the only customers, in the store at the time. Prices are high, disorganized, no customer service, no reason to go back!!

Very disappointed with our visit there today. Didn’t really find what we were looking for. And didn’t have help from an employee that was standing around. I noticed my nephew struggling to try a pair of shoes on and I saw the employee just standing there watching him. So his father and I helped him. So very disappointing. Disgusts me how employees can act like this. If you don’t like your job in customer service then they should not be there. Also we asked if they could contact another Big 5 store and see if they had the size we need. We got a very vague answer basically a NO.... So we called our self to another store and they had what we need and we got it taken care of through them. This store is horrible

Such a plethora of sports and hobbies that Big 5 has something for every one of em. You may not find everything you need for outfitting your excursion, but itll be close. The manager was great, employees were maybe inexperienced, but great shoe prices keep me coming back.

The associates were very helpful and with a cheery disposition, so I liked shopping there. Only 4 stars because whenever I was at the cashier counter there was only one cashier (and she was on the phone). But as soon as I was finished paying for my purchase suddenly she left the counter and 2 or 3 other associates arrived. Multi-tasking is a great talent but as a customer I do not appreciate that person requesting another employee to help me. Customers like feeling as if they are being the whole focus of the person behind the counter.

Decent selection and prices with nice staff.

Super cramped store, hard to find anything let alone maneuver through the racks and spaces and Im a really small person. Well the cashier was friendly enough the, the manager on duty, average height white male with gray hair, literally followed my husband and I are everywhere through the store without even ever talking to us clearly watching us as if we were going to steal something and then posted himself up front while we checked out. For the record yes were California and so we dress different and we look different a little more flashy perhaps then some but we definitely dont need to still anyting we can pay.... not a problem my friend... so do your guests a favor and dont make them uncomfortable we wont be visiting your store ever again and guess what we dont still so if you needed to go through my purse so bad you should have just asked you would have found absolutely nothing but my makeup in my brush and my hair spray. What a damn fool!!!

Went there to try on shoes and got HORRIBLE service. Doubt I will go back. If I am going to pay 100$ for shoes, I think a bit better service could happen. Was told they didnt carry size 10 in womens. Which they do, Ive bought 4 separate pairs of shoes in that size there. Then was told that was approaching mens size and couldnt be the womens shoes I wanted because it was to big. Then asked for a 9.5 of that shoe to try on, he brought it back out and handed it to me and started to walk off. I opened it up, it wasnt the shoe I asked for. So I told him that wasnt the one I wanted and he then told me That if I wanted the shoe I asked for I would need to choose a smaller size.. super irritated and unhappy with the service. What did he expect me to do, shrink my feet?

We went in to get a new pair of hiking boots for mom. The staff was friendly and helpful. They were knowledgeable about the different products. It was a great experience overall.

The guy with glasses and a white long sleeve button up working on this day at 4:30 pm who looks like a manager (not sure), is completely rude, he seemed annoyed that I asked about a sleeping bag, and I asked a specific question 3 times in a row and instead of answering me he just kept saying back right without even hearing my question. Then I asked him another question un-related and he just walked off without even listening and started helping a different customer. I literally couldnt even ask him a simple question he wouldnt give me the time, horrible customer service, I will never go here again and I decided and not to purchase anything because of it. I will refer my friends elsewhere as well. Not the best way to get customers to purchase items...

I got exactly what I wanted and some feedback about the skates I bought. I actually bought two types of skates and it was easy to return the pair I didnt like. There was one guy who didnt really want to help but the pregnant girl was very helpful and seemed annoyed with the other worker. His lack of help almost made me give up on the store but the girl was just to nice to say no to that store. Very essential store, browsed a few times and I will for sure go back for my kids school sports equipment.
