Really supported this place and loved to buy things here, but after the mandates its made it hard for me to support it. Went there with a couple friends, and was asked to leave because I didnt have a mask. I even asked if they had disposable masks that I could use which they didnt have. Really sad to see how a place I loved to support has turned against me so quickly. If you require me to have a mask, please offer disposable ones instead of throwing out a supporting customer. I want to support local businesses during this time, but unfortunately its makes it hard to do so when they dont even offer basic accommodations to allow you to shop there. Sorry Astral, I loved your selection, and even before all of this, I loved your staff, but Im unsure how to feel about my support after this.

This place is really amazing. I love buying cards here. Everything is reasonably priced I love what Pokémon items they carry. The staff is super helpful. I just hope I don’t go broke. 11/10 great place

Place is way to overpriced walked in to see their magic selection saw they still had time spiral remastered, First red flag, second red flag was how much most of the boosters were. I can still get kahns off ebay for 5 bucks yet here sits 12 bucks for a booster. Will be taking my business elsewhere.

Excessively overpriced. Selling $50 boxes for $100. I understand a mark-up, especially on hyped up items, but doubling the price is ridiculous. Makes the whole place seem shady to me.

I am shocked how rude and snooty the owner and staff were. I will never shop there and neither will anyone I know. Very unprofessional and was treated like garbage, if I could give negative stars I would.I highly advise anyone to go anywhere else but here.

Ive been going here for years, it has my favorite selection of comics, books, figurines, miniatures, MTG, and more. The staff is great and the owner makes a great impression, hes learned my name, my husbands, and my sons, as well as my friends.

Astral Games is an incredible store. The service is exceptional, and every employee is knowledgeable about the gaming products they sell. They specialize in pretty much every form of tabletop gaming (Pathfinder, Dungeons and Dragons, Magic the Gathering, Warhammer, Pokemon TCG, boardgames, etc). Theyve also got a great gaming space where you can gather with friends or other members of the Astral community. Speaking of the community, Astral Games best feature, in my opinion, is that strong sense of community theyve created. Really great game shop.

Astral is a great spot. They have a bunch of board games and other unique items. They have tons of space for magic the gathering, board games, and other event stuff. There is also a huge wall of consoles to play video games on. This is a great space for anyone to enjoy. I see people from all age ranges here and all background types. All of the communities seem open to new players too.

Great Selection of Games!!!Astral is very Magic heavy, which is great if youre in to that, but over the last couple years, theyve really boosted their board game inventory. If youre looking for a modern or euro game, they will most likely have it.Magic isnt the only card games they have either, plenty of other options as well as RPG source books and plenty of war game models.

The atmosphere here is incredible. Staff is always friendly and ready to help. The regular patrons are, for the most part, extremely kind and very willing to help anyone who walks through the door. Whether it be learning Magic the Gathering, Dungeons and Dragons, or Warhammer. Patrons and staff are one in a million.Events are held regularly, the environment is very family friendly. Its hard to write a review that can truly explain how amazing this place is.

Its supposed to be a community hangout, but new restrictions are making the place less friendly for campaigns and serious gamers. No outside food or drink, and the management has put guidelines in place that allow employees to discriminate against whomever they like, more freely: such as being able to kick people out with no warning over alleged odor. The changes are worrisome for the community, but hopefully it works out.

Aaron and the crew are great people and do a great job facilitating all types of games from board games and table top games to a whole room devoted to video games and arcade machines. Its a great store, dont get me wrong, but I feel like its too inpersonal. I walk in and it feels very commercial. I love the people here, and they have a great selection of stuff, but it definitely doesnt stand out from any other game store.

A good gaming space. This place was nice and had a good selection of comics and core rulebooks for Role Play Games. They had a lot of the popular generic games one would expect but a few oddities which I was surprised by, like Blue Rose (an AGE system based RPG.)They had a nice looking gaming space with clear rules posted about what patrons could and couldnt do.The staff was okay. The greeted my wife and I and helped us to look at things inside their counter. They werent too talkative to us but it was near opening so they could have been busy.Overall, I would stop by again if I am in the area.

I always have a good experience at Astral Games. The owner Aaron is knowledgeable in most forms of table top gaming and trading card games. They have an extensive gaming room as well as miniatures and other accessories. I highly recommend stopping in and having a look.

Went in to find a new game. Great selection of games and comics. The guys were so helpful, and knowledgeable it was a great experience.

A step-up in location from their previous store, awesome game store with a huge variety of products and events.Small wargaming room in the back and plenty of room in the front for any kind of gaming you might desire.Trading card games tend to be the most-played, but this is more a result of popular demand than anything else.

A big improvement over the last time I was here. They had a lot more stuff in the store. Good prices and all of the comics were bagged and boarded and not all tore up and wrinkled on the shelf which is a big plus for me example not shopped a place thats not bagged and boarded.

I went in there and it reminded me of North Medfords Game Club. It had a familiar vibe and people there were very friendly. Prices seemed to be higher than say Barns & Noble for some things but it wasnt over priced as far as I could tell. I definitely will go back there when I can. If you are in the area of the place it is worth a look around and maybe a stop and shop.

Reviewing the only game/comic store in Medford seems sort of silly. Its the only game in town ( pun intended) so who cares if it sucks. Well, I do. I lived near the bay area of California, and in Portland. This is not a 4 star in either of those places. But for a store in Southern Oregon, Astral Games is quite good. Staff have always been friendly, and I have never run into the no social skills people you often find at these smaller establishments. The selection of board games is quite good and they carry current run comics as well. You can find Warhammer, Warma-hordes, Magic and all the other game store staples. They have plenty of space for open play and league play as well. The store is always clean and does not have the dingy dungeon smell you find in some places. Women have been treated well from what I have observed, but I am male and so have no direct experience of any issues.

Very helpful. Answered many of my questions on several games. I ended up buying dice and a dice bag which I have used since then.

Dont waste your money on this place they kick people out for no reason. I was in the shop playing Xbox with a friend minding my own when these two other people around us started talking about smoking weed. I never said anything about it other then they should not talk about it because it was against the rules and then I leave and come back I get told I cant come there anymore for something I didnt do at all.

Large selection of comics, games are pricey but it is hard to find them elsewhere so not surprising. You can play in store, anything from VR to table top D&D. Great place for kids to go play video games for an allotted time rather than on the streets getting into trouble.

My wife and I like to take our time with comic books before purchasing them. So, we were in there reading through and deciding which ones we wanted to buy. I was particularly interested in buying a game, which is this stores main focus to begin with. Well, with me standing right there, the patron came over to my wife, who was sitting on the floor with a book in her hand, and told her that she was free to browse, but that reading is discouraged since it defeats the purpose of buying and walked away. So, apparently youre only appreciated if you already know what you want or are there to play cards. Comic selection wasnt great to begin with, but impressive for gaming. Just felt unwelcome.
