This store is great! Selection is always amazing and no matter how busy the store is..Ive never left without what I wanted to get. They do a great job keeping everything stocked and clean. The clerks are friendly and make efforts to connect with the customers. They are knowledgeable about everything I put in my cart. They have usually already tried it and have some good input!
My fave place to shop. Always new and innovative items. Staff are super helpful; excellent assortment of foods and fun!
My second time at Trader Joes. Awesome foods. Organic included. Customer service is awesome. Never bought wine before and one of the workers was very helpful in helping me pick one out. I have no words for the manager Phil, outstanding doesnt even express it. I am so thankful and Blessed by this man.
What can I say... First stop each time we visit my mother in law... Its just a shame our Airbnb has such a small freezer and fridge! We like trader Joes for their nice selection of vegetarian microwave foods but they also have nice fresh/seasonal stuff too. Im not crazy about their watermelon juice (can taste the white rind) or their vegan onion dip (its just not bangin the way Id hope). Their lil mousse cake are always good. We always trying whats new and bringing back lots to share with family and friends. Oh, I dont recommend canned dorade fish (smoked trout and herring are yummier but were trying to cut back on seafood).

Who doesnt like Trader Joes? The products offered really speak for themselves. If you dont want a lot of processed food products in your diet, this is definitely a place to go. The prices are good. Their plants and cut flowers are always loaded with cool stuff. Theres always something new I find when I go. The one thing that never changes? Their excellent staff. So friendly and helpful.
Stephanie F displayed excellent customer service skillset to me and others. She knew where items I needed in a timely fashion. She also was speedy in checking me out on a very busy day. I love Trader Joes from their fresh food, bakery items, frozen foods or fresh vegetables or my nemesis the candy in the plastic tubs ( why are you so delicious?). Always new things and great quality. The cashiers are so friendly. A great experience.
Good selection on plant based foods, cheeses, nuts, produce. Best prices on good wine around. Lots of good stuff you can’t find elsewhere. Prices way better than Whole Foods, and quality just s as good. Many of the employees are friendly and helpful.
More of a high end cheap grocery than a full organic experience. staff is always great and budget friend if you can find what you want

Called ahead to secure some items. Even though there was surplus they knew I very much wanted them reserves and said no problem. Very helpful. No one ignores you in the store. Everyone’s always in a great spirit!

I stopped in on Saturday August 14, 2021 around 12:45-1300. I got to chatting with the cashier and bagger on register 1 about my current situation. Long story short my grandparents aren’t doing too well and I am traveling to the Philippines to visit them. The woman who was on the register left but on her way out she said “I am so sorry to hear about your grandparents. I hope you have a safe trip.” On my way out the man who was at the register caught me and handed me a bouquet of flowers and said “these are for you.” I just wanted to say that interaction was so lovely. Thank you Trader Joe’s for providing not only fresh produce and great products but for also hiring quality employees who are compassionate and caring. I travel all the way from Parkland to shop there and that just solidified why I choose to shop at Trader Joe’s. Thank you for creating a great place to shop but for also hiring employees who made me feel like I am a part of the community.
Always good. I like the seasonal rotation, its a refreshing breakaway from the mentality that we get whatever we want.
We try to go during off-times, but there really arent any. Its always busy. Employees are the only people in the store who social distance. Weve remembered after moving back to Pierce County that customers will zoom up to stand shoulder to shoulder with you even when the entire aisle is empty. There are usually lots of customers who do that here. Its weird, but part of living in Pierce County.
Got bullied by the manager. I dont take well to bullying, especially when it applies to my health condition! I used to love this place, but the manager who confronted me, took time to shame me as well. You know, there ate other Trader Joes not too far that I have been going to since then and they treated Ms with more respect. Guess where I now do my shopping?

Recently started shopping here and they have an amazing selection and prices way better than Walmart. Also I have medical food restrictions and the food they have is fresh and easy to find with a plethora of safe options for me.

Love love love all of the rotating items! The seasonal butternut squash Mac and cheese is AMAZING. There’s a lots of dairy free and gluten free items for those with limited diets. They always have fresh fruit/veggies. Great place!

Super crowded location, so unless you need to stop here like I did, try a different one in your area. The staff are great as always and its as good as youd expect, but its also a Lot of people, so planning accordingly.I dont hold it against them, but they really could use another location in Puyallup or somewhere in the area to reduce some if the load and traffic.

I rarely go here, but when I do, the first thing I see are the plants. So lovely! I love their collections and how well the plants are taken care of, also for such great prices! Best part about living in University Place (besides Chambers and the schools). Often a line outside during covid but moves fast. Never feels busy inside. Trader Joes brand products are always quality and a great price. Big fan of the ability to choose single beers to get a variety. Also the wine is divine. Have never left this place with a bad experience, top notch staff.
Especially during these dark cloud of Covid times this Trader Joe’s is a light in my week. They are very conscientious about their Crew Members and loyal customers which is shown through the care in wearing facial coverings, sanitizing the shopping carts, having very clean, nice rest rooms and are oh so friendly. And I have not even started on the delicious products with the most competitive prices! But why am I telling you? I want to keep it my secret.

As a new intern physician in town, I’m often working 70-80 hours a week. I’m plant based for over 2 years, and I don’t have time to cook or even do simple preparation. Most locations don’t have good vegan options and I wouldn’t be eating as well if I didn’t have access to Trader Joe’s. This store isn’t as busy as many I’ve visited across the country, and they do fairly well keeping the shelves stocked. There are a wide variety of delicious frozen meals that are plant based, as well as amazing and healthy snacks. Anyone considering plant-based eating should consider TJ’s. They’ve been my staple grocery store for over 10 years, and their plant-based options are multiplying every year. Frozen must haves: Pad Thai, Vegan Tika Masala, Plant Based Pasta Bolognese, Vegetable Burritos (smothered in salsa), Yellow Curry Jackfruit, Panaeng Curry. So many delicious options: vegan pesto, Thai green curry, almond and coconut yogurts, dried fruits.🤗
I travel an hour just to shop there. Wish they would put one on South Hill Puyallup. Love this store
First time there. I always thought it was expensive, I was wrong. The employees are real nice. Store was clean and fully stocked. It was busy too.

This is the only Trader Joe’s I’ve been to and I absolutely love it. It may be a bit small but they always have the newest things out and a very helpful and enthusiastic staff! Very cleaned and organized. Lots of happy energy here
Always like my finds at Trader Joes. There are a few items I regularly purchase, and then there are the seasonal items. I havent been able to find, like the sour cream old fashioned donuts, the bacon-wrapped scallops, or the ghost pepper grinders, that the staff considers seasonal. I still search the baked items, freezer section, and the spice section on each visit for those three items.
Personnel friendly and informative. Selection of goods sort of static the last decade or so. No longer have as many offbeat and cheap products. Becoming more upscale, too bad.

Went to take home omiyage. Organized. Clean. Wide isles. Helpful staff to offer you a cart on entry, find item availability and bag purchases at check out. Ample selections at reasonable prices. Seasonal items were in short supply. Produce and meat sections with great general selections.
Everyone is super nice and helpful. Great selection. Good Cheese selection and good wine selection. They probably have the best naan and that you can find anywhere its a garlic naan. Also good seasonal products that you cant wait to come back.
Great place to find holistic and organics foods, which arent available at regular grocery stores, like international cheeses to dairy products, certain vegetables, gluten free food, specialty foods, as well as wines and breads, etc. Parking lots are small and busy, friendly staff.

I love Trader Joes! This location has done well sanitizing and monitoring the number of people going in. Youre probably going to have to wait on line, there is a covered area, but the line moves quickly. I appreciate all the signage showing how to correctly wear your mask while shopping.

One of my favorite stores to shop.
I’ve always enjoyed shopping at Trader Joe’s, but more so now with COVID-19. This store is great at limiting how many people are allowed in at once and are great at enforcing that shoppers wear masks and wear them properly. They sanitize all the carts and baskets after each customer. The limited capacity does mean you may wait in a line outside the store, but the lines moves quickly. If you shop off hours like 9 am or 7 pm you’ll find no wait times and considerably less people. They are usually well stocked and the staff is great. My ONLY complaint is that much of their produce is wrapped in plastic, but that isn’t a specific store issue but a corporate issue.
The food selection is typical Trader Joes fare, with maybe a slightly larger than average wine and liquor section. I appreciated how this store takes social distancing very seriously. They have a carefully marked, covered, outside waiting area. The staff are also very helpful. Ive asked someone in produce about a specific brand of minced garlic, and they walked me all the way across the store to show me right where it was. Staff are also quick to note what is, or is not, in stock, saving me needless times of searching for items that arent there.

Expensive but but worth it they have food that no other store has different types of cheeses breads and good people who are there too help with your purchase and to help you out with your purchase and bring back the electrical carts for the handicapped nothing bad to say

This is my favorite TJ’s location, hands down! The staff here are always so friendly and helpful and their stock is usually pretty consistent. Sometimes there’s a line outside but it moves quickly. I definitely go here for more than just the good food!
Pros: The variety of products are great. You cant find at other common grocery stores. Cons: The parking lot is small. Customer Service is average. Staff are not welcoming & make you feel uncomfortable while shopping in the store.Overall, if you enjoy being around uptight shoppers and unkind staff, this location is your spot.
