Yesterday was the first time I had been in. I am brand new to riding and needed a lot of gear. The young man(named Ivan or Evan- he has a slight accent) was awesome! He took time to help me with shoes, helmets, jackets, gloves and pants. He had good advice and was very knowledgable about all of the gear- even the womens gear. I was able to find a great helmet and gloves in the store and have also ordered a jacket and pants from the online store, which he explained is easily returnable if it doesnt fit. I cant wait to ride now- thank you!

The young lady that walked us thru a couple of helmets, their attributes and why either would be a good choice; I express my desires; wore the helmet for a good 5 plus minutes, per her recommendations, I made my choice. Exceptional staff. They made me feel at home. I would have to say they went out of their way to make me feel comfortable shopping in their store. I needed a few items, and had somewhat of a budget and my sales person seemed more motivated to fit my budget rather than just trying to cram expensive gear down my throat. Yesterday was our first trip into this store but will not be our last. We got an expert helmet fitting and found one at a great price too.We we looking at bluetooth helmet communication for a long trip. Virgil discussed the pros and cons of each system from personal experience.The store is HUGE! To the left is an entire wall of helmets at least 15 feet tall and 50 feet down. They have padded and protective gear of all kinds. Easy access parking. Drop in and check out their store.

My Sena 50s ($280 wireless helmet communicator) broke and I purchased the cheap warranty when I bought the headset. They without question completely gave me a new one when I walked in no questions asked. I went on with my cross country motorcycle trip with a brand new headset.

Open floor plan so I didnt have to worry about knocking over items as I browsed. Awesome selection - nothing like it at any other store in the area. Full womens section with aesthetically pleasing presentation and the store was clean.The employees were readily available to answer questions but let me browse without pushing me to buy.I will be back and bringing my friends.

Really good place to go for motorcycle gear. Got a really good Bilt helmet for a really good deal. Has sunglass visor with a lot of air vents and it fits perfectly. Also great customer service 👍 Will buy from there again. You guys are awesome!

No joke, this place was friendly, and helpful, and actually seemed sincerely friendly. The other 3 places I went to today had poo-poo ca-ca customer service.

Cycle Gear is AMAZING! I had no idea that they existed in Medford until somebody mentioned it to me. They are hidden on Central Ave and the sign is small. This store has everything and they are very nice and helpful. I really think someone should be advertising on TV and radio that they are there. I think they would get very busy if word got out.

My buddies and I went in to Cycle Gear to see what all the talk was about and we were impressed. Its not easy to impress our group! The prices were better than other stores and the sales team knows their stuff. We liked that they didnt rush up to us as soon as we walked in. They just looked and said hello, then approached after a few minutes. I bought some gloves that are perfect after Mike showed me a few brands. I wasnt even planning to buy gloves but glad I did! My buddy in going back to buy a helmet. Cool place!

Great store, took my street bike wheel in for a tire change and got it back quickly and with zero scratches or blemishes from mounting and dismounting.👌

My husband and I went to the store to purchase a helmet he liked. He had been in earlier in the day to try them on and found one he liked, he wanted to show me the one he wanted. My husband said the one of guys was helpful and the other one Duane was very opinionated and not helpful, infact tried to get him to purchase a helmet too small for his head (the one in stock)My husband decided to purchase the helmet from another employee but they needed Duanes help to order it. Duane became rude and acted inconvenienced having to order the helmet in the size we wanted. He kept telling us how difficult it was to order for us at closing which was 5:00 pm by my clock, we had at least a 1/2 hour. Im quoting him telling the other employee get someone else to write it up that employee said to him, youll have to approve it. Duane then sighed, Well, I have to get into another screen, then we need to write it up all the while reminding us was closing time.Duane was actions were rude that we would bother him to order something that we would take his time. It was obvious he didnt want to order the helmet for us and he made that very clear. We walked out and decided to order online from another company. Cycle Gear lost our $260.00 sale, maybe more future business because of this one employee. The other employees that helped my husband were extremely helpful and tried to cover for Duane. I will never go back to that business, I dont know if my husband will. They did have a great selection. Hopefully this Duane will get a reality check on what good customer service should be

Went to a few other places to get gear for my first bike and these guys were easily the best. I told them it was my first bike and the gentleman helped pick out all my gear without upselling me at all. It was very much appreciated. Definitely returning.

Won’t be going back in here. I worked at a cycle gear years ago and have always spoken very highly of them and told people to check them out for their great selection and awesome return policy. After today I won’t be doing that. I walked in the store for the first time excited to check it out and Chris was behind the counter and greeted us, after I said we were just browsing he said there would be a five dollar charge for browsing, obviously he was kidding and then said “just kidding, we aren’t like the dealerships around here, we actually like our customers”. That probably wouldn’t bother most people but since I do work for a motorcycle dealership and have for the last 10 years it really hit a nerve with me, so we turned around and left. I also think it is very bad business to talk bad about other shops in town. I have worked in the motorcycle industry for about 15 years and know at least a few people at most of the shops around here and we all have a good relationship, as well as a large majority of people that ride in the community, I will definitely be letting the people I know not to go here.

Update: bought a tool from here and manufacturers product had a defect, I was expecting to go through the manufacturer for a resolution. Went to Cycle Gear to pick up a replacement part and explained what happened, these guys stand behind their products so much they had me bring it back for an exchange. Was completely shocked! The replacement tool had a similar defect that I was ready for and cleared the issue before it became a problem.These guys prices are outstanding! Also very helpful, whatever your riding needs.

Huge selection, great prices. Make sure you know what you want ahead of time, and if you order something dont listen to them when they tell you 3 days. My order took 8 days. Customer service is lacking. When I went to have my tire installed on the rim they refused me service due to posting this review. You would think they would want to help an upset customer, but instead the manager was rude and short.

Came in to buy a helmet and wanted help deciding on fit. The person there was nice but didnt give me much guidance at all. Ended up buying from Hansen BMW who helped me find what I needed.

Had a terrible experience here. Order a tire with little direction, after a friendly post of saying service wasnt fantastic, that the shipping time was much longer than told and still including positive feedback such as the inventory in the store. Instead of fixing the issue or perhaps making my experience better the manager refused service due to the bad review... This is not how you change a customers mind. Will NOT go back, would give ZERO stars if I could.

Experience The MOST HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE POSSIBLE .Id prefer to be ran over by a semi before returning to this store .VERY unprofessional, unproductive, unpredictable, and vulgar language from them here. As I and many others could hear a worker in this (shop) area throwing around tools,. Tires, who knows what else while cussing up a storm, and complaining about having to put a set of tires on a pair of rims for a customer who had been at the store since about 230 and at a minute before 5 still unable to get the job done yelling at another employee to get people THE F OUT OF THE STORE BECAUSE THEYRE F-Ing closed at five and much more. The poor customer service and much more is clearly making this shop a place Ill avoid from now on.
