Theyve been rearranging for a month now, and its absolute HELL to shop here now. Isles arent labeled, items are all over the place. Their new vitamin section is with the frozen pizza. And it includes 3 kinds of probiotics, 100 million kinds of tums, protein bars and energy drinks. No actual vitamins. Avoid this location! Buehler always has shorter lines anyways.

The store seem to be fully stocked with all products. It was nice going into a store that looked normal. I do love the Sushi Bar! The sushi is always made fresh and delicious.

I had a 50$ gift card (given to me by my employer for being fully vaccinated) and prior to checking out I told the cashier I wanted to use it. I offered it to him, and was told he didnt need it, he could enter it any time before or after the check out procedure. After he rang up my stuff, I swiped my debit card, again offered my gift card, and was told it was too late, I couldnt use my gift card. THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. He said he could not fix it, and sent me to Customer Service. No one was at Customer Service, and I was told it was closed. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. I threatened to leave my groceries at the store, and report the transaction to my bank, disputing the charge. Only then did someone show up to fix their mistake. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. EVEN THEN, SHE REFUSED TO CREDIT ME 50$ ON MY BILL, INSTEAD JUST GIVING ME 50 CASH. IF I wanted cash, I could go to an ATMAT NO TIME, IS IT ACCEPTABLE FOR THE STORE TO NOT CORRECT THEIR ERROR, SAYING THAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS CLOSED. WE ALL MAKE MISTAKES, WHEN YOU MAKE ONE, YOU MAKE YOURSELF AVAILABLE TO FIX IT. IF YOU ARE OPEN FOR BUSINESS, YOU ARE OPEN TO FIX YOUR MISTAKES. THIS IS A TERRIBLE PLACE TO BUY GROCERIES.

Wow, is there a bread shortage at Giant Eagle this week? Arrived at 10 am to see the bread selection completely picked over. I was disappointed to see they were out of everything this early.Also, why do I need a Giant Eagle Advantage Card to use the self-checkout? This isnt a specialty membership grocery store like Costco or Sams Club. Walmart and Buehlers never give me this much trouble.

We do all our shopping at one of the three Giant Eagles near our Ohio home.We especially love their bakery and have found their store brands to be very good. During the pandemic, we started utilizing the Shipt supported home delivery. Now were hooked! We may never shop in person again!! Thank you Giant Eagle!

The place is kept clean and well stocked. The selection is great and I’ve never had a problem finding what I need. Though I typically only get standard groceries, Giant Eagle has a lot to offer in terms of specialty sections (deli, bakery, flowers, pharmacy).

Covid 19 mania has destroyed part of the Giant Eagle freshness. The lines are longer and you cannot chill inside and have a salad anymore. Maybe the magic will return someday...?

I find it to be over priced. Good selection for groceries but on the expensive side.

Giant eagle has always been my go to grocer since my old store closed, they keep the store clean and usually stocked well. I save money and receive quality food. Better quality and prices compared to Buehlers. Edit: the last time I was at GE I was disgusted with how much rotten produce was on the shelves with employees all over not caring, you can see an example in the mushroom photo I posted. Just as bad as Buehlers now.

I ordered online for the first time ! Ireland was my shopper and even text me before pickup to see if I needed to add or anything. Also text regarding substitutes and then someone even called to confirm . I woukd give tbem 10 stars if I could. Great staff

I ordered a cake today for my parent’s wedding anniversary and Elizabeth in the Bakery was so kind, patient and helpful. She should get a bonus for being so wonderful and naturally kind.

Coming from a city that has a Market District you would think Medina would have one with as large of an area Medina serves…. But it has a sub par organic section. Not a lot of variety and the quality is lacking. So unfortunate. This area store is in need of an update update:(

First time in this store, good Beer selection.

Zachary in butcher department was so wonderful in helping me understand which standing rib to order for our special Christmas Eve Dinner -& worked with curb side & personally went out of his way to call me. He recommended transferring to Kathy in seafood who assisted & we ordered less items, better quality & all on sale. & at the counter for pick up this AM - we so appreciate them going above and beyond so writing this 5 star review so it does not go unnoticed. Giant eagle supermarket he is an amazing grocery store they have a amazing deli department they have wonderful produce very fresh and they also have a place you can sit down and have a wonderful sandwich or salad then continue shopping to find just about everything you are looking for they have items you cannot find in any other store giant eagle supermarket you have my five stars

The staff is always so kind and friendly here. Contrary to popular belief, many of their products are available at comparable prices to budget stores, and some are less expensive. Only one downside, they don’t honor their double money back guarantee due to COVID-19.

Women stood by the front registers and chatted with a man instead of helping me lift water cases and a watermelon. And bag my items at self check out. Im sick and feel awful and got ill Im the bathroom before I got a birthday cake for my mom. I was ignored in the front all 3 women were just standing around. No help at all didnt even acknowledge me. Ill go to my giant eagle In Barberton next time

Ignored at the deli counter... I guess they just must really want you to use the grab and go self service meat bin. I wanted their overpriced deli salads so I waited patiently to be served. This was my 1st visit to this location for a full cartload. I was dismayed at the lack of customer service. What do you mean you dont hire baggers...?!#!

Very rude staff at this location, No one is ever around to help when the self checkouts malfuntion, which is every time. Employees would rather stand around and chit chat than help customers.

When it comes the bakery this store is amazing, but the fruit section is terrible! Several times Ive purchased bad or rotten fruit from them. Other times Ill search through all of it trying to find one box or a piece that doesnt look bruised or moldy. Today my significant other an I literally left our cart and went to a different store altogether.

Their fruit is awful.Plus turning some lights out and turning air down dont help customers and Im sure not the employees in the humidity we have as of late. Its at same time everyday it seem and will end up costing same if you left it alone even electric company tells you that.

I was a 2x a week shopper here, after my experience I cannot go back because of the way they were treating me due to my right to choose my own health risks for my family.

The employees here are just down right rude. I would recommend going down the street to aldis. Id leave a 0 star review if possible

Lots of selection, but not always the cheapest. Good wine, seafood, and bakery. Fuel perks are nice too. Large layout can make it difficult to track down a specific item, but still worth the trip.

Online ordering was super easy here. Website is very easy to use. Staff informs you of any backorders and possible subs. Then quickly load up your vehicle when you arrive. Very friendly staff.

They have a large selection of fresh produce. We got a really sweet whole watermelon there. Pick one that is really dark green and then knock on the spot where it sat on the ground. If it sounds hollow it should be good.

This one in Medina. Shelves were not organized, and messy and self check out, had to call an employee, because the computer kept saying take off belt . Think the Giant eagle in Brunswick spoiled me.

I used curbside pickup. It is handy, yet in my opinion it took a bit of time waiting, (I waited about 20 min) The curbside associate was friendly. I dont know if its an option, but Id be happy to have my groceries pulled and go in and get them if 20 min is the norm. I had 8 of the same items.

Best deli and super market around. If you love hot cheese try the new york buffalo cheese. Its the only cheese I can eat now.

Left Purchases at Self-Checkout. Belt mechanism broken. It kept reversing, cancelling the sale, and requesting that I try again. After this happened, my frustration was so great that I got fed up and left. There was only one cashier-run line and there were many people waiting for both self serve and regular checkouts. Yes, I was impatient, but it took nearly an hour to find most of the items on my list, so another 10 minutes in line was a bit much. Add to it the device malfunction, I decided to leave.

Expensive and extremely long lines for checkout. Be prepared to spend more time waiting to checkout than actually shopping.

I really dont understand the bakery here. EVERY time, over the past 5 years weve ordered here on and off, only ONE order has been correct, but we kept giving them a chance because weve loved Giant Eagle cakes in the past from other locations. Then, the day came where I didnt have a birthday cake because they wrote down the wrong day. Im done. The staff isnt nice to begin with, and you stand and wait there for 10 minutes because theyre too busy boxing packages behind the counter, and dont want to be bothered.Also, if you ask for extra flowers, youre usually getting 4 flowers on the entire cake and messy handwriting. Furthermore, your cake will taste like soap because theyre too lazy to completely rinse the pan. Now, regarding ordering, the other day I ordered a cake, a simple order, and it took 17 minutes to get it ordered over the phone. Im not signing a mortgage, Im ordering a birthday cake...and the order was still wrong. Get it together, find nicer people to work there, and dont be so cheap with your decorating-even when customers offer to pay more for extra flowers!Also, cashiers are rude as well. So sad because we love Giant Eagle! Guess this location wont be getting anymore business from my family and relatives. Sigh.

Tim the store manager is amazing! He has such a hands on approach to his mgmt style! Hot weather...hes out front handing out cold bottles of water...are you kidding me? That is someone who thinks outside the box! Very refreshing!My personal experience....I was by myself and had 2 carts full of groceries. I ran into Tim at the front entrance...not only did he grab one of my carts but he walked it to my car, loaded it into my car...all the while conversing with me the whole time...and it was New Years and the weather wasnt the best...didnt matter to him! I wish him and his staff nothing but success and happiness!!!!

Customers do not come first here, particularly at the customer service counter. Was sent away without my dry cleaning because guy is using computer. 40 minutes drive time wasted. Strongly recommend customer service training.

I have never had a problem with any Giant Eagles and this one was amazing as well! The lines weren’t long, everything was stocked, all of the workers were nice and helpful. Everything was clean and organized. Plus the deals that they have is amazing as well!

Everything was very good...until you get to the checkout line. Only three full service checkouts were open with at least four customers waiting in each line. My cashier was pleasant.

Need more employees at the register

Recently moved to Ohio from out of state and coworkers told me that Giant Eagle would be my best bet for grocery shopping. On my first visit, while picking a pack of chicken breast from the meat cooler I noticed a long, dark strain of hair in the prepackaged store brand chicken. When I took this over to the guy at the deli he first seem confused why I told him and then just said “oops”. Now I feel I can’t trust food from Giant Eagle.

As a customer I do not share your business organization that believes that the best way for you to improve your service to us is for the customer to do his own checking out. If I choose to have a clerk do it I wait I wait and I wait. There was no one at the 12 or less checkout line. Of course I have fewer than 10 items. I find a store very aggravating

Least favorte store in Medina. Never has what it says it has on its website. Staff is rude.... Parking lot is dangerous. Every time I go there for something.... I always say its my last time. This time.... It truly will be my last time.

Clean store. Staff was friendly checkout was fast. Always shop at Giant eagle. Deals never disappoint. Get perks on gas too! I like to save money!

I have been in this Giant Eagle many times, and it is always a very friendly environment.But this time was super awesome!I was doing a self check out with just a couple of items, rang out as usual, and after paying I go to bag my items...To my surprise this amazing women named Shawne already had them bagged!She was literally a ninja because at first I had no clue how they even got bagged... Eventually I tracked down Shawne and thanked her! Great place to shop, and even better people.

The shelves are always stocked and if not the friendly staff will check the back stockroom for your item. The cashiers are quick to get you out on your way. They do have a decent variety of organic and other special diet foods. Prices are comparable to the other stores and offer fuel perks so you save money on gas.

Just finished shopping a giant eagle In Medina. Everything was fine until checkout where they have 2 lanes with cashiers and the rest were self checkout. Choosing self checkout for lack of a better option, my groceries started to pile up on the end. Instead of helping me bag things up the lady that worked there decided to stand right behind me and stare at me. The store was hardly busy so I don’t know if she though I was stealing or just wanted to be lazy. Either way not great service at all. I’ll go to Aldi’s from now on, prices are better and the people they hire are more competent.

So much selection! The olive bar and the salad bar are exceptional. The many artisan cheeses, specialty items, vegan/ethnic/gluten free foods, that they have in stock, is amazing. I like the zum soap bar and bath salts they sell by the ounce. The makeup & skin care aisles are stocked with many natural items to choose from, similiar prices if not less than the health food stores. Clean store, friendly staff.

I would have rated it as five stars because the workers were so helpful and pleasant even the day before the 4th of July when they were swamped with people, but it was incredibly warm in the store while shopping. I was actually sweating. Some of the workers said that they were conserving energy. Well when it is in the 90s outside and your store is crowded with people it is not the time to cut back on air conditioning. Otherwise it was a good experience, well stocked and plenty of people working.
