Have two little girls ages 8 and 7, and we’re all new to ballet. I typically use Amazon but needed something much sooner than I could get delivered. So glad I found this place! The quality of the items were better than I had expected to get. Their items to me seemed like what competitive dance-wear should be. The owner and another associate were there assisting us. They were very kind and helpful in sizing them for shoes, and in picking out leotards, skirts, and tights. They also made tags for the girls ballet bags for free.I really appreciate the little details in both product quality and customer service. This place has both of those things. This place exemplifies the perks of mom-and-pop stores. I plan to continue to support this shop.

I went in to get black leotards for my three daughters. Miss Kitty is always pleasant to speak with and helpful! I got what I needed plus a few extra items and bonus for me there was a sale!!

Miss Kitty and her team are always very attentive and helpful. The wide variety of inventory make it a one-stop shop to get ready to dance. I get my Ballet, Pointe, Tap and Jazz sneakers there as well as leotards, skirts, tights and toe pads. Its great to Shop Small and Shop Local at Melbourne Dancewear.

I needed specific ballroom dance shoes for my daughter but the sizing was European sizing which made ordering online without trying on hard, not to mention the very expensive shipping cost. We went to see Ms. Kitty and she let my daughter try on different shoes in European sizing until we found the perfect fit! Then she offered to include the shoes we needed in her store order to save on shipping!!! She is truly our Fairy Godmother and we are so thankful to have her in our community supporting the arts in Brevard! We love you Ms. Kitty!!!

Mrs kitty is awesome. My daughter recently decided she wanted to do dance and I had no idea where to begin. Her ballet school had an open house and I got a card for this store. Mrs kitty said hello as soon as we came in and helped fit her for ballet shoes, another one of the girls showed her all the dance bags. She had the biggest smile when we left. Shes happy and Im happy cause I know she has everything she needs for ballet.

Wonderful store! My son enrolled at Galmont a year ago and they were very helpful when ordering his dancewear and taking his measurements. All the clothes we ordered through them had an excellent fit. Almost a year later I have placed an order for the same pieces of dance clothes over the phone. They said they would order it and have it ready for us in a week. They just made it so simple for me! Thank you. During the year I have tried to go the online route to buy some pieces but it has not been easy to find the right fit. This is nice to have a dance clothing store in our area with great selection and experienced owner! You will feel good supporting a local business as well.
