Absolutely terrible. Bought a fridge that was supposed to be delivered to my apartment Sept 20th between 2pm-6pm. Took a day off of work since I am expecting a fridge, went grocery shopping, spent money on all the food that was supposed to go in the fridge, just for them to call me on the same day of the delivery at 2pm and tell me that I need to reschedule because they will not deliver my fridge today. Anyways, they ended up delivering my fridge 8 days later... So all the food that was bought was thrown into the trash since I have no where to store it in a 90 degree weather. Best buy has completely misled me, did tell me anything at least 24 prior to the delivery so that I could have planned accordingly and have not spent that much money. However, the guy that delivered my fridge 8 days later was super nice and communicative. Wish I knew his name to give him credits for it.This was my first and last time buying something from best buy. Good job on not taking care of your customers whatsoever!
This Best Buy location has been my go to for anything tech or entertainment related. Their Geek Squad and automotive departments are top notch. Everyone working the floor are so welcoming and helpful.
On Saturday, August 28, 2021, I came into this store looking for a mouse to buy. I asked one of the employees to show me where I could find them, and he treated respectfully and was overall very helpful. I had no issues throughout the entire experience, and was treated courteously by everyone who helped me.
The staff was very helpful and I was able to pick an item that I was shopping for just didnt know which one to buy they was able to help me with that and I was very happy with what I purchased.
Exceptional service provided by the amazing representative at customer service. Unfortunately I didnt catch her name, but she streamlined the process for what I came in for and made my overall experience of shopping at Best Buy a breeze. This is one of the main reasons I continue to do business with Best Buy, whether in-store or online. Customer service is everything, in my opinion, and thanks to the wonderful associate, this store definitely lived up to the basic standards I expect when shopping anywhere. Keep up the good work!
Best buy is a nice place we bought a refrigerator there. The problem was they advertised one at a nice price and when we got there to get it they said we dont have that. Well are you going to give me one at the same price or take some money off the one im going to buy. Nope. The sales lady was so very nice and she kept apologizing and because of her I will go back and purchase again.😃

There were no cashiers at any of the registers and about three working at customer service helping one customer. There was a buildup of customers at customer service and about 5 of us waiting in line to check out. I had to wait almost 10 minutes before an employee finally rung me up. This store was fairly empty as if it hasnt been restocked in a while. I would not recommend this location
Great Service. I was looking for a Adapter for my cell phone. Not only did they have it, but the price was perfect. The sales person who help me had a very good excellent customer service attitude. I would highly recommend shopping at Best Buy.

The only big box electronics store I shop at. They always have what I’m looking for and the staff is well trained and very helpful. Their “price matching” policy can really keep prices down. When combined with their mobile app everything is quick and convenient. Personally, I have no need to go anywhere else.

Bought a camera for my dad. It was slightly pricier, than online, but needed something fast. The staff was friendly, courteous and professional. No issues at the checkout either. The cashier even helped me update the rewards account with proper info. Other places would give you an 800 number to call, but she took care of it on the spot.If youre in the area, this one is the place to go!

Convenient location but the appointment for geek squad is silly. I walked in, no one was in line. I was told I needed an appointment and had to return later. When I returned, they took my laptop and was told Id get a call when ready. Whats the point of an appointment and a 2nd trip. They could have done that the 1st time I walked in. Now I have to go back a 3rd time to pick up.

I wear glasses and wanted to get a pair of bone conditioning headphones, but try them on first to check the fit. They stated that I could not try them on, but could buy them and return them. Not helpful at all. They said it was for cleaning purposes, but all their phones and other headphones are out. Very disappointing. I never really liked shopping there to begin with, and now I will do all I can to avoid it peroid.
My husband and I walked in with a pretty confusing order to pick up. Tyrin got the ball rolling as soon as we started to explain our situation. He sorted out the whole mess and went above and beyond to help us out. Super awesome service across the board from everyone who helped us get our order.
The best service ever at Best Buy. Ren D. at the Geek Squad gave exceptional service on my laptop in which Ariel at Elston location refused to diagnose even when I have a service plan. Go figure. Ozzie in the tv dept. and the Geek Squad manager was awesome. Overall, They were pleasant, professional and attentive. This is my new best buy home store. Thank you guys for exceptional service and because of your outstanding customer service, I will be back again.
For the most part, the staff is friendly. The problem is that as the technology becomes more complicated and nuanced in useage, the staff is not knowledgeable about the products. The staff also does not always know what is available or how to access it. At North Riverside, I was told smaller TVs were no longer available or sold. After ordering on line from Melrose Park, and a mis-dating the pick up, I was told at Melrose Park that there were 7 TVs at North Riverside that I was seeking. In addition, during installation, I found the TVs are not compatible with my cable provider nor as an analog TV, even though I specifically asked about that. For those seniors on their own, the technology store that figures out how to market to seniors, based on their useage will rule the market.

I went to Best Buy today (Sunday 6/28/2020) in Melrose park in hopes of upgrading my phone. I had the pleasure of being helped by Michelle in the mobile department. She was so friendly and helpful!! She went above and beyond for my husband and I with switching over our phones to the new ones and even helped us put the cases on all without being asked. She spent a good amount of time with us making sure we got exactly what we wanted and that we left happy! Michelle was absolutely wonderful to deal with and should be promoted to manager! The way she handles herself and customers is absolutely impressive! She should be recognized for her work ethic!!
Helpful, knowledgeable associates keep the brick-and-mortar shopping experience alive. Nothing beats that great feeling you get when a helpful associate puts your 75 TV on a dolly and rolls it through the entire store out to the sidewalk where your SUV awaits to take your prize home!

I had my car stereo and door speakers installed my vehicle the work was doneI will never have any car installation done here again the installer broke my radio dash bracket and also cracked my door panels and didnt have the audacity to tell me when I noticed it 😤
Okay Best Buy. They seem to have a lot of computers in stock. Typically low end computers that are overpriced when other Best Buys offer better brands or quality for the same price or more.Video game isles are barren, whats going on here?Some of end caps (advertisements that show the product on display) are broken or have missing keyboards. (Example the razor girl gamer endcap)Sadly with this area changing for the worst this is to be expected from the clientele. However this should not be left to show broken products unless you dont care

I go into the store without a mask, and there is a sign saying that you may enter the store without one if you have a medical condition. I show a manager the sign and he makes an excuse for me to still wear one. I have had this happen to me at this location and at the location in Norridge

Terrible!!! Sold me a Note 20 Ultra unlocked, even though the know and got authorization from Verizon. The phone was partially operational, prevents me from using my Verizon options, and they did NOT disclose this to me. Worst is, they do not take responsibility or want to do anything to resolve the issue. The management lacks resolve and will deflect on their failure to disclose necessary information or replace the product.I WOULDNT BUY ANOTHER DEVICE FROM THEM AGAIN AND SIGGEST THE SAME TO YOU!!!

This is the worst Bestbuy, clerks service is lousy. They want take the time to show you where to find an item. All I wanted was the ooma telo. Waiting 20 minutes, walk around looking for myself. I was so frustrated I almost burst into tears
I wanted to exchange dishwasher I recently purchased so I called customer service. The dishwasher I wanted was more expensive than one I got orginaly so I had to pay the difference. For some reason my credit card wasnt going through the link they provided me with to pay the difference so I was told to go to any best buy location and manually swipe my card. Unfortunately I chose this location. I was told they have to call customer service to set everything up and I should go to hang out for 10 minutes and they will call me/find me when ready to take my card. After 45min of hanging out with my toddler I went back just to be told that their system is down and they cant take my payment. Why no one told me? Why no one bothered to call me so I could go home? They wasted an hour of my time. I have always bought my appliances at home depot and I thought Id go with Best Buy this time. Oh boy how I was wrong...

Quick and easy in and out thanks to the staff. I was the only person in line behind a guy returning items that wasnt going very smooth. A young man came up and rang me up at another register hed just opened, then turned the light off and went back to his area of the store. No one called him, he just saw that I had been standing there with one item to purchase and took initiative to help me. I was able to get back home and enjoy a few extra minutes of family time before heading to work. Thanks guys!

The gentleman at the front door very nice greeted me with a smile asked me was it anything that I can help you find he was a young black male sort of round face very nice great customer service very good greeting at the door I was returning a speak, I was directed to go to the speaker department and pick out another speaker the young lady that helped me with the speakers explained it very well on what speaker I was looking for I was off to the cash register to check out and do my final return young lady on the cash register its nice but a little pushy she kept asking me am I ready to check out Smith asked me three times and I stayed to her I was looking for my credit card I had to go in my phone and unlock my credit card this is my protection the attitude that I got from her was hurry up and return. I dont see what the big rush was there was no one behind me I was the only customer in line at that time I like Best Buy Ive dealt with Best Buy over 30 years, this is probably the worst cashier that I ever dealt with, I think she can use a little more customer service and a little more patient. On that side of the counter. I have 35 years of customer service dealing with the public right now you want to treat everybody with a kind word to keep them coming back and spend what money they do have to spend, keep the stores open and to keep them functioning.
It was all good. You are not allowed in the store. A sales person greets you outside and find out what you need. If they have the item they bring it out to you and you are allowed in to pay for it at a register near the door. They had my item. It quick and hassle free.
