Ok place for ice cream i got the Ferrero one was ok my daugther got the ganzito one and that one was good

They use to have excellent ice cream, but sometime during COVID-19, they changed the waffle cone and made the whole experience unworthy. Ice cream leaks through bottom of cone all down clothes and arm. The butter pecan actually contained black walnut, 🤢.. They may have just loaded my business.

TerribleThe taste of the icecream is not fresh and no even fruity.The girl who work thre they have no skill prepare a simple Banana Royal.Can someone please train them?!You spend there in only one cone more then 6 dollars and they dont even offered a napkin! You have to ask for it.

Too pricey comparing to La Michoacana, smaller products and charge per toppings now. More sugar than ingredients, wrong utensils and containers. No napkins although I asked for them. Insisted on my phone number, gave them a fake one.

Very similar to La Michoacana but the staff is very nice and helpful. Good customer service overall and the food and desserts are so good 😊 my favorite is the mangohelada I would say its most of customers favorite order.

We got the red velvet and goji booster smoothie. You can taste all the ingredients in it. We also got the root chakra juice and that tasted like health. Haha. Will definitely come back. Besides the lines being insane, the Mangoeada and coconut ice cream is my go to. My friend recently brought me their yogurt parfait that’s the size of a Venti drink at Starbucks and holy moly was that delicious and filling. It was pink in color but wasn’t just strawberry in taste. It was mixed with other things and the crunchy granola. Mmmm so filling for breakfast! Didn’t eat till 5pm.

We were looking for something cool and refreshing, the smoothies we purchased were just that! My husband ordered a strawberry smoothie and I ordered a watermelon cucumber smoothie. The prices are reasonable and the staff was inviting and patient with us, it was our first of many visits.

Will not go back to this place way over priced and when I ordered a yogurt with fruit, they said it was a granola topping when i ate it, it was actually oatmeal very different things. Also the banana slices are so big. Worst yogurt. Just go to la michoacana! Way better!

I stopped in with my sister at 930am. The place opened at at 6am.. We wanted champurrado and burritos..There was no champurrado available even though signs all over the store says its available daily. And there was absolutely NO FOOD available to eat! The young lady that works there lifted all the lids to the hot buffet and they were empty.. Even she had a puzzled look on her face. She said she didnt know why food wasnt ready yet.The place has been open for over 3 hours.. Very disappointed!

Definitely the competition to La Michoacana. Although Dulces avisa only has 2 locations (Melrose Park & Hanover Park) and is not a chain, their prices and flavors, antojitos, and other great treats blow La Michoacana out the water. Jorge and Greco the owners actually run and work these 2 locations themselves so that’s why you can expect good service and everything clean and tip top shape. Small businesses for the win!

Too crowded and the mayonaise for corn in cup was nothing to be desired. Probably using a low grade type. For 5.00 a cup they shouldnt skimp on ingredients. When asked what type of mayonnaise was used the staff said they didnt know.

Purchased 2, less than average, fruit cocktails today.The watermelon NOT SWEET,The mangos NOT RIPE.Very little lime juice, barely any Tahini powder.Did NOT ENJOY them so felt ripped off spending a little under $20 for them.WILL go somewhere else for my next one.Maybe Michoacan ???

Service was good but select is not that great

Went in to buy a $2.50 elote and only after they made it did they inform me they only accept debit (including visa) with a minimum purchase of $10. Visa states that any business accepting visa cannot set minimums for usage of Visa cards. As such I would not recommend this place at all and in fact would recommend the business across the street, La Michoacana as Ive never had this issue with them before. Will not be going back to Dulce Vida. Addendum: the elote was all water in a cup, too. Cant even do that right. 0/10 no questions asked.

I usually come for their elotes, and I always receive good customer service, but today I went in and I was greeted by two ladies having a conversation for about 5 minutes before one of them asked me what I wanted; when I told her she went back to her conversation whilst preparing the elotes for me and she was so distracted that instead of opening the warmer with the corn, she opened the one with the melted cheese, she was still in her conversation that she wasnt paying attention to what she was doing and couldnt even grab the ladle to scoop the corn into the cup. I honestly had more water from the corn in my cup than Ive ever had coming here and I was truly disappointed.

Waited 30 minutes to get an elote & the lady said they didn’t have any. Started to order a paleta de eskimo when the guest next to me was ordering an elote with a different person & she said ok with no problem. When my person came back I said the guy next to me ordered 3 elotes with no problem & she warned me that it was very hot. She asked me what size I wanted my elote and I said small & then she said sorry we only have large ones? Why ask then right? My elotes were halfway through the cup and the paleta had not a shred of coconut. Also the elote was super cold? Felt like they were trying to get us in and out and it’s definitely not worth the money.

Loved this place but i called to make a phone order so i can pick it up and go to work and the lady didn’t understand me and i was speaking in Spanish and when i go their she didnt make it because she didn’t understand what i said i was mad because i was late to work because i had to wait and i don’t understand why the employees get mad when you go in the morning and they always talking and not look professional

Feel like Im dreaming when I walk into this place! Anything that you can think of they have. Strawberries and cream, corn in a cup, fruit, chips with lime and chili, tamales. Everything is amazing!! All sorts of ice cream including tequila flavored! check out their FB for the amazing photos. A great place to bring the family for a sweet treat. They always make you feel welcome! In the short time they have been open, they are very well known for their amazing treats. Stop by and try it all, I usually go pick up one thing and end up walking out with 5 things. They also make amazing juices for all your needs. I stop by daily for the champurrado and chocolate Abuelita. Everything I have ever tried I loved and the prices are reasonable.Bring the fam and your cravings, you wont be dissapointed!

This place used to be very good it has changed lots. From the owners servicing you to this distracted employee that hand your water looking chamango smoothie to another person. And then hands your the chamango that she already gave to anther person back to you with out a straw turns around to get a straw opens strw she bumps into this other employee and that other employeee touche the straw with her dirty hand and then she puts straw in the chamango. And then gives my change to another person. But o well she was very distracted looking at other people than providing customer service

This by far is one of the best ice cream places ive been to in years! They have some great service theyre all very friendly and welcoming. if u stop by make sure to try their chamangos they are soooo yummy :) so if id had to pick between la michuacana or la dulce vida i most definitely would go to LA DULCE VIDA
