I’m so happy with the quality of the wood fence and expert installation by Walt Whitman Fence. It looks so good and I finally have the security and privacy I wanted. Edwin did an amazing job installing the fence up and down hills and around huge trees. In fact, other fence companies said it could not be done. I’ve used them for many years and they came through again. I can’t say enough good things about Edwin and everyone at Walt Whitman Fence. I highly recommend. They are the best!

During this time of COVID it was hard to find a company that had inventory to replace my damaged fence. I checked online - Home Depot, Lowes, etc. Finally, I was referred to Walt Whitman Fence by a lumber yard that was unable to provide to me directly.I called WWF and they were extremely helpful, personable and patient as I had no clue what exactly to buy. They talked me through options and explained what they though was best for me.They custom built a dog ear, 4 high fence in 8 sections and delivered within 2 weeks (as promised).Ironically I stopped by Home Deport for an unrelated item and saw they had just gotten a delivery of a fences close to that type, and I was relieved that I didnt buy it there as the pieces were rough and cracked.The fence is in and looks great. Thank you Hank, Walt and others there for delivering a quality product and being a pleasure to work with.

They were also very friendly and accommodating. I couldnt ask for anything more. My wife and I are extremely happy. Attaching a couple of photos to show folks the kind of work that was done. It doesnt capture everything but if you look carefully you can see that the corners are neat and level, and also carefully avoiding the buried cables as indicated by the flags. Super job!

Walt and his team were able to replicate the design of an arbor we needed replaced and suggested we use Azek instead of wood. We are so happy with the result and how great the arbor looks. Walts design and installation were perfect! It was a pleasure working with his team.

We had Tom come and give and estimate this past weekend. I texted him after asking if we could have the estimate by the end of the weekend at the latest seeing we had other estimate and wanted to make a decision and this was his responseI won’t be back in the office till Wednesday or Thursday I told your husband we were backed up till April since you can’t wait go withOne of the other companies sorryNo offense this was a big job and an estimate should take 5 or 6 days. And what you don’t see is the underlying and capitalization on the text. It was rude

Walt Whitman installed PVC fencing 15 years ago and it still looks great! Every now and then, the gates need adjusting. Their service, even after all these years is still second to none. In this case, a crew was at my house the next day to adjust and reset the gates/posts. Now they work as good as new. The crew at my house and Walt on the phone were courteous and professional. Terrible customer service. I just left after being greeted rudely this morning, and the salesman twice insisted that I needed to go to either Home Depot or purchase iron railing before even before looking at my needs or job. 1st question from salesman: who installed the existing fence? I did. Where did you get it? Salesman: You nhave to go to Home Depot then walked away. I had to explain I needed or wanted to replace all fencing before he would talk to me. Then I asked about railing for steps to front door. He insisted that I call a company he provided for iron railing. I want te same vinal rails all my neighbors have, and that I have 2 other estimates for.Shame on WW Fence.
