Well, the negative reviews that I have read on here so far are most definitely accurate. I purchased lifters MONTHS AGO. The only thing Ive received is a receipt (attached) after they gladly took my money of course. I havent received my lifters, a call back, or a response for the multiple emails that I have sent. I highly recommend going through a different company for your performance parts.... in lieu of COMP-SCAMS

Unbelievable I ordered a camhaft 4 weeks ago, As I went to go cancel they order the very next day after I had ordered the cam, it still showed up after numerous emails and phone calls in which they said they will cancel the order, it never got canceled. Fast forward 4 weeks it showed up, so I refused the delivery, and then spent 2 and a half hours on hold just to have a 2 min conversation about refunding my money for a cam I did not need

Wow the customer service that you all have is absolutely amazing. I can’t think Comp Cams enough for all the help and the business standards that you all have in place at this company. I will definitely be telling everyone about how great of a experience I have had with this company. And wow so fast. You definitely have earned a customer for life from me and my friends.

You call and cant get anyone on the phone unless you wait nearly 30 minutes. The phone on hold message goes on and on about how they have expert service. They even say if your not satisfied then ask to speak to a manager. You ask to speak to the manager and they hang up. Surprise! I then go to their website which has 5 or more phone numbers and none of them lead to a human or allow you to talk to an operator. Wow! Now I move on to the ultra convenient live chat. Oh My! It doesnt work either. The time is 3:10 Eastern on Thursday 2/18 not the middle of the night. I suggest they actually spend time delivering on the customer service rather than bragging about it. #toobigtocare

DO NOT BUY COMP CAM SPRINGS!!! I saw a review on the Summit Racing website from a guy who had bought some CC springs saying that most of them were way out of tolerance from what they were supposed to be - the open value. So with that in mind, and as I had a new set of dual springs (CC 995-16) and access to a near new digital Rimac valve spring tester, I decided to test them all. Well, only two were in tolerance, all others except one, fell noticeably short of their open value, and the other one was way over (by 16 pounds). I also tested a set of Trick Flow springs as a comparison and all except one were within 2 pounds of spec !! The other one was about 5 pounds out. I wrote to CC Customer Service politely telling them about my findings and asked for their comment. Even gave the Batch number of that set. No reply. Sent another one, no reply. In all I sent no less than five (or was it six?) emails to customer service and the feedback area. None replied to. Is this an admission of guilt? Or just plain rude arrogance? I think both. What a nest of rude arrogant idiots! And from reading peoples views about Comp springs on the various forums that I visit, I see that the general consensus is they are very average, even second rate springs compared to others out there.I will never buy any more Comp products after this dismal Customer Service as now I know or wont know, what type of garbage I am actually buying. There are better products out there for not a great deal more $.Oh, and did I mention that their website is possibly the most useless site I have ever tried to use. What a mess. Compare their site to Summit Racing which is possibly the best there is, and CC site is a joke. The search function must have been designed by a 12 year old school kid on work experience - I tried multiple times. looking for various parts that I knew they had, by name and by different sections of part number - NO RESULTS FOUND. I just gave up in the end and found the product I wanted - on Summit.

Called the tech guys for a cam recommendation on a camshaft for my boat turns out that they have no clue what the wrong cam will do to a boat motor the motor drinks more water then it puts out the exhaust. Called them back about the issue and all they would do is recommend a different cam they won’t own up to there bad advice and most definitely won’t send me a different cam in place of the one I got. Big waist of time and hard earned money and almost cost me an engine STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS FOR ANY ADVICE

There products are decent but there service is crap. I bought a set of roller rockers 2 years ago to install in a set of afr heads. the roller rockers are known not to fit afr has told Comp Cams but they sold them to me anyways. They wont return them to get me a set that fits. i bought the most expensive set they have. they have never been run but they were bolted down. they suggested this set of roller rockers and will not stand behind them selfs. so now i have a EXPENSIVE SET OF ROCKERS that i do not need. Will never purchase a thing from them again when there are other places to get better gear from. Thanks for your time.

They changed the design of the Ultra Gold Racing rocker arms, now the rocker arms grind into the valve springs and hold the valves open so you have no performance from the engine. I was told to clearance them by grinding out the aluminum. They told me lots of customers just clearance them. If lots of customers have this issue, then change the design. Horrible customer service

About three years ago, we bought a TCI 2004r Streetfighter transmission and converter (by way of Summit). From day one, it felt wrong. Called Summit and was told to call TCI. TCI told us that we had adjusted the TV cable incorrectly. Being a newcomer to this, (I only have been in the auto trade for over 45 years) I adjusted it again.Still felt wrong. Called again and was told the exact same thing. (3 times... always the same answer) I finally removed the pan and visually verified the adjustment as correct.Ran it at a local track.... Leaving the starting line, the transmission neutralized, then re-engaged. Not always but randomly. End result was shattered spider gears in a Ford 9 tracklock differential and a cracked converter hub.Vehicle was dual use and could not be laid up for weeks. TCI, after several calls, agreed to permit the shop to tear down the unit and document with photos, exactly what they found, and that they would compensate us if unit was defective.Upon teardown, it was found that the accordion springs in the rear sprag were mostly missing and the ones there (about four) were pretty much flattened. The builder searched the entire inside of the unit and never found even a trace of the missing springs. BUT, TCI refused to help. (Summit did issue a $500 credit but that did not compensate for the over $1,500 repair.)Very expensive lesson in why not to buy from a company that operates with its hierarchy hidden and unreachable and adheres to the big box store mentality of selling volume and not addressing their failures. (but being very good at blaming the consumer). Why write this now???? Because even though after repair, the unit worked well. its now doing something no one has a clue what to do about short of a total blind rebuild. At the top end of the track, when the throttle is eased off, the transmission feels disconnected from the engine for a second or two, then re-engages in what feels like first gear, nearly throwing the car out of control. (very dangerous)Input from TCI? To sum it up...... Get Lost!!!! They even refused to send us a diagram of the valve body check balls they use in that unit!!!My opinion: Anyone that buys anything from this company should see a psychiatrist. Put a few more $ into the investment and buy from a REAL performance builder!!!
